Me: I want to do some design pictures, but I can't really do anything with Angelus Dei because all the designs I have are perfection.

Me: I know, I'll do @anijeltaventry's characters, because God knows they need some shining up. But only the two mains, because those are the only ones we care about.

Me: *draws up some very pretty design pictures, stares at them all day giddy at their prettiness*

Me: *precedes to get sad over the fact that there'll never be more to their story, having gotten invested in their story since it was the longest @anijeltaventry had written*

That's...pretty accurate with how I decided to do this, lol. Like, I have shiny, updated design pictures. Aspera Virtus has shiny new design pictures. Casus Belli has...crappy ten year old design pictures that made me cringe. Sure, she'll never do anything with these, never have a story, but it's the principle of the thing, damn it.

I kept, for the most part, her original designs for them. I have Rydan some nice fancy boots for his every day wear just because I thought it would look nice, and then...well, I'm not entirely sure if I have his hair right? In her design picture, it's all curly and poofy, but when i drew him, I just gave him wavy hair? IDK, I just sort of did this and it doesn't look half bad. ^^;

(Honestly, him smiling is throwing me off, but eh. Couldn't have a love interest design with him sulking, after all.)

I had forgotten how much black he was actually wearing in his normal wear - I thought it was mainly black with some grey, but nope. All black. But it's fine, he looks good. And the doublet in his fancy picture is supposed to be 'black with silver design embroidered', but IMO, just having the hatching on it somehow makes it look more fancy? I like how it turned out, whatever.

I also discovered I had been coloring Anijel's princess dress wrong for ten years, OMG. I had it darker with lighter inserts to the skirt when it was this way the entire time *dead*. At least it's fixed now!

These looks so good, and I'm glad I can at least say they exist in the world now. :D

Il s'appelait Patrick et on jouait à AD&D (n'importe comment) en 1986.

Pour vous donner une idée du niveau, on jouait en VO sur des photocopies du DMG et du PHB : pas de dictionnaire, attend, on causait l'englishe très fluently, on était en 4ème ! Pour nous, "cure light wounds" signifiait qu'il fallait de la lumière pour soigner 🙄

La première fois où j'ai maîtrisé, je m'en souviens mal : c'était peut-être sur Les Caves de Thraoril, un scénario D&D "boîte rouge" paru dans Casus Belli n°16, de 1983, qu'on m'avait prêté.

Avec de sublimes illustrations de Rolland Barthélémy ❤️

*Archduke Franz Ferdinand Carl Ludwig Joseph Maria of Austria[a] (18 December 1863 – 28 June 1914) was the heir presumptive to the throne of Austria-Hungary. Franz Ferdinand was the eldest son of Archduke Karl Ludwig of Austria, the younger brother of Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria. Following the death of Crown Prince Rudolf in 1889 and the death of Karl Ludwig in 1896, Franz Ferdinand became the heir presumptive to the Austro-Hungarian throne. His courtship of Sophie Chotek, a lady-in-waiting, caused conflict within the imperial household, and their morganatic marriage in 1900 was only allowed after he renounced his descendants' rights to the throne. Franz Ferdinand held significant influence over the military, and in 1913 he was appointed inspector general of the Austro-Hungarian armed forces.

See näib mulle üsna objektiivse faktina, et Urmas Reinsalu on peast põrunud nats, fašist ja totalitarist.

Paremaid ja täpsemaid termineid ma ei tunne.

Muide, Reinsalu tahab nüüd rajada Soome lahel Eesti ja Soome külgvööndit, mis võib tekitada olukorra, et Venemaa kaubalaevad ei saaks enam sõita Peterburist Kaliningradi ilma, et Eesti või Soome piirivalve neid laevu läbi ei otsiks.

Paraku mereseadus üksinda siin mängus ei ole, kuigi Eesti asjamehed sellist muljet püüavad jätta.

TÜ ekspert Alexander Lott:

"Aga kindlasti oleks see igati tervitatav, kui Soome ja Eesti otsustaksid külgvööndi kehtestada üheskoos üleväinalise koostöö raames. Ma isiklikult ei oska selles näha mingisuguseid negatiivseid tagajärgi Soomele. Pigem ainult positiivseid..."

Ent kui Venemaa enklaav Kaliningrad satub praktilisse isolatsiooni, siis võib see Venemaa jaoks olla casus belli.

Vene väljaandest:

"Проблема в том, что, если Эстония действительно доведет данную инициативу до логического конца, это может спровоцировать опаснейший кризис между Россией и западным сообществом. Поскольку введение режима «прилежащей зоны» даст эстонцам возможность запереть российским военным кораблям и гражданским судам выход из Кронштадта и портов Ленобласти через Финский залив в Балтийское море."

Venemaa võib Eesti piirivalve laeva, mis Vene kaubalaeva rahvusvahelistes vetes takistab, lihtsalt torpeedodega põhja lasta.

Sellist riskantset poliitikat ajavad niisugused russofoobid nagu Urmas Reinsalu.

Ja sellist Eestile kahjulikku poliitikat ajab "isamaaline" Urmas Reinsalu, kes on avalikult teatanud, et erimeelsuste korral Euroopas lähtub tema Eesti välisministrina Washingtoni juhistest.

Te võite muidugi organiseerida mingisugust rahvusvahelist tribunali nagu te praegu teete.

Ent eestlastel tuleks tõsiselt vaagida, keda tribunali alla anda.

Meil on ka oma kodumaal head kandidaadid olemas.

Eesti külgvöönd on vöödiline

Venemaa Välisministeeriumi pressiesindaja Maria Zaharova sõnul on Eestil seaduslik õigus rajada oma mere külgvöönd.

Ent Zaharova väidab, et ÜRO 1982. a. konventsioon mereseadusest ei võimaldaks Eestil oma kavandatavas mere külgvööndis Vene kaubalaevu segada (takistada või kontrollida):

"Дополнительно могли бы разъяснить, что установление прилежащей зоны является обычной практикой прибрежных государств, но в соответствии с Конвенцией ООН по морскому праву 1982 года не даёт возможности контролировать и тем более препятствовать судоходству. Разумеется, если эстонская сторона будет действовать в рамках правового поля.

С учётом вышеизложенного исходим из того, что Эстония, несмотря на свои планы в отношении прилежащей зоны в Финском заливе, будет строго следовать положениям упомянутой Конвенции."

Aga siin on üks "aga".

Nimelt on Eesti kuulutanud Venemaa terroristlikuks riigiks.

Ja me võime kujutleda, kuidas Urmas Reinsalu sõidab piirivalvekaatriga kontrollima, ega Vene kaubalaeva pardal terroriste ei ole.

"Aga" seisneb selles, et Venemaa uputaks selle kaatri ära, teatades, et tegemist oli provokatsiooniga ja mereseaduse rikkumisega rahvusvahelistes vetes.

ÜRO 1982 konventsiooniga mereseadusest saab inglise keeles tutvuda siin.
