Very Important Announcement

As of tonight, I have come to a very important decision regarding my works: I will be orphaning all of my shipping/romance stories.

Some of you may have seen this coming with the other decisions I've made in the last few months, but I imagine most of you are very shocked by this, so please let me explain.

For a long time now, I've had a growing distaste for the focus I've put on ship fics and romance in the past. Even with me now writing non-romance fics, they are still vastly outnumbered by the fics that do have romance as a major component. Looking at my account statistics, the vast majority of the numbers in every category are mostly from ship fics. This domination is not the way I want my account to go, and it's not the identity I want to have as a writer. Thus, in order to "rebrand" myself as a non-romance writer and fully change direction, I will be orphaning all my stories that have romance as a major component, including my Amphibia and TGAMM oneshot collections. Through this I will have a fresh start without having to move to a new account.

Keep in mind that I am merely orphaning these works, not deleting them! Though I'm not very satisfied with them anymore, I know many people have loved them, and I don't want to just completely erase them from existence just because I don't like them anymore. By orphaning these works, people will still be able to read them, and they won't be lost to the void, so there's no need to fear that. When orphaning works, there's also an option to attach my name/pseud to the works even though they're not on my account anymore, which I'll be using to help avoid confusion when people see that they've been orphaned.

This is an absolutely huge step, and it's not one I take lightly. I've thought about this for a long time, and I've decided that it's the best way for me to be happy with my writing going forward. All of my ongoing fics, like The Long Road Home, Two's a Crowd, my TWDG What-If collection, and To Continue On will all be unaffected by this change, so fans of those works have no reason to worry about them.

Thank you all for your patience with me over these last few months. I've been going through a lot of changes in my personal life, and this is a really big milestone that I'm glad I've finally become brave enough to reach, even if I'm still a little worried about how people will react. I hope you'll all be understanding, and that those of you who are fans of my current ongoing stories will continue to be fans despite this upheaval.

Thank you very much for reading this, and for all your support over the years I've been writing. I hope you'll be with me for many more to come.

though MC noticed something was odd about mammon too & they've known him when he was fully GREED but they still think he was acting out of character (which he was). Even "present day" mammon was never this level of greedy so (I'm only in the third book of Lesson 22) but my current running theory is that they had sharp spikes of their Sin near the beginning (because seriously imagine something like a nagging overwhelming need for food becoming your whole self? You'd have to put in work to push it back enough that you can be a person again) before they learnt to control it more until it becomes what we see in "the present" : a somewhat loud constant background noise that while always present doesn't consume them and can be ignored from time to time, specially for loved ones

So as much as I love Camilla Hect and think she has slightly more brain cells than like 90% of the rest of the Locked Tomb cast, I occasionally see takes like ‘Camilla is the keeper of the Brain Cell’ and I just can’t get behind this. This girl is insane. She’s just as unhinged as the rest of them, and I think most of her perceived reasonable-ness is down to the fact that we have the audience perspective. Especially to the rest of the characters, she is decidedly off the deep end.

Like this is a woman who, we can infer, in between nearly bleeding to death in a fight with a lyctor and being captured as a prisoner of war, hauled ass through the ruins of Canaan House to scrape skull fragments off the floor.

You know she came back from meeting up with Harrow and told them what happened like, ‘hey so Harrow’s gone mad with grief’ and then they’re all like ‘yeah…right…Harrow’s gone mad with grief…sure, Camilla, sure.’

Like sure, we as the audience know that Camilla is being way more reasonable than Harrow because we know she’s right about Palamedes’s soul being in the skull fragments, but to everyone else who’s actually in the story, the two of them are on the same level (and that’s very sexy of them)

(And this is not even counting all the nonsense she gets up to in Nona including the whole of that duel scene which was spectacular)

being a hispanic fan in qsmp is so upsetting because not only do we barely get content, half the time the streams are like 30% spanish and 70% english since esp streamers never log on at the same time + convos usually happen in eng. im so glad im bilingual but it feels like this

Okay, so, rereading Cell Dates for the nth time, and I got to chapter 13, and after Olivia lies to Sasha, it’s mentioned that “A martyr was the last thing they needed.”

So. I really do think Grime’s gonna be executed, that line has solidified that theory for me, alongside the stuff I mentioned in my comment on ao3, which was stuff I remembered off the top of my head

It pleases me greatly that I've traumatized my readers enough that you immediately jump to the idea of Grime being executed. Beyond that, I won't comment on whether or not you've got the right idea. You'll find out soon enough.

IK sometimes Bruce and Zatanna are friends, or just friendly tbh, but I want them to be like FRIEND FRIENDS. Like they were both semi-famous Emo Teenz™ growing up in the public eye! Come on now!

I imagine they're a little like sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Houdini, as in two silly little guys who could be hyper competent on their own but together are a walking, talking, unlikely friends comedy show.

Just thinking about emo Battinson and his goth Bff Zatanna who go on a spooky zaney adventures as teens whenever the Zataras are in Gotham. (This doesn't just apply to Battinson tho, observe)

Thinking about 16yrold Bruce needing to understand magic on a mathematical, scientific, and logical level and Zee being like " uhh, sorry bud we just say shit backwards it's like uh..it's like magic"

Thinking about them in their 20s, after Bruce's round the world in 80 days training montage, meeting John Constantine and being both DISGUISTED and kinda having a crush on him. ( It's the accent, they both think the accent is kind of hot, they will take it to their graves)

Also thinking about Zatanna showing up to Wayne manner to meet Dick for the first time looking at Bruce like " OH NO BRO! Baby??" And then immediately bonding with him because they're both performers and showmen at heart. (Aunt Zee is fun and cooky and will do magic anytime a nephew or niece asks, she will also let them wear the hat)

Not thinking about Zatanna coming to Wayne manor after her father's disappearance and death. (Or the way Bruce would feel gutted for one of his oldest friends having to experience his own trauma)

Not thinking about Bruce in the desperate throws of depression and grief after Jason's death or how Zatanna would come hold vigil beside him. Performing whatever magic rites she can to let Jason's spirit rest easy. (Bruce does not ask her to find a way to contact Jason, Bruce does not ask her to bring him back, he wants to tho so badly)

Anyway I just think it would be neat.
