Johnny sighed as he rubbed his temples. His secret girlfriend was being paranoid... again. She told him that someone has been following her and her phone has been hacked.

Johnny shrugged her concerns away. He knew your condition of social anxiety. He knew your life story. Since he was working with your mean and strict father. He saw you as a child. He watched how rude and harsh both your brother and father was to you.

That caused his heart to shatter. Johnny's own mom was abusive. As soon as you became eighteen, he offered you a place to stay with him. Well...not really. Johnny Depp knew you were too scared to accept help from someone outside your family and you were shy. So, he indirectly threatened you to live. Johnny didn't mean to. But, you were foolish to refuse him.

As months went on, Johnny realized he loves you despite being much younger than him. You were legal but still much younger. After getting a job and ready to start college. Johnny begged you to stay with him and confessed. You were confused. Your strict father never let you date. So, you didn't know how to respond.

"It's okay, baby." Johnny pleaded as he gently grabbed your chin to look at him. "I know you never fell in love. But, I am willing to wait for you till you do realize that."

You agreed. Johnny let you go to college and he paid for everything. He put a restraining order against your brother and father. But, you have been getting bad feelings.

Johnny bit his lips in annoyance. He felt offended that you didn't rely on him. Sighing, he came back to his shared mansion with you.

He walked up the stairs.

"Lovely, you didn't reply my texts." He found you in the bedroom with your head hanging down.

You looked up with worry. "Did you send me these gifts?" You whispered.

Johnny frowned. He looked to see where you were gesturing. Roses that were black laid on the marble floor. Not old roses. They looked charred burned and weird porcelain dolls and clowns in boxes. Odd gifts. Too ugly too.

"The Fuck?" Johnny muttered. He usually sent you lingerie and fresh flowers and little jewelries.

Never this crap. He ran a hand through his hair. He looked at you seriously and asked for your phone.

You handed it to him. Johnny unlocked your screen since he knew all your passwords. He looked through texts. Your normal texts with him. Such as I love yous and how he would ask for nudes. But, there was a number he did not recognize. He clicked on it and saw pictures of couples kissing and some photo screenshots of what appeared to be from porn videos.

Johnny's breath hitched. You weren't paranoid. You had a stalker. You were being sexually harassed too.

He looked at you to see you hugging your body. Johnny sat next to you and pulled you to his muscled chest.

"I'm so sorry, baby. I should have believed you " He whispered into your soft hair locks.

That bastard was doing this for almost three months. Johnny took out your night medicine and placed the sleeping pills in your mouth. He made you drink water and then began to remove your clothes.

You let him tuck you in and felt his lips over your forehead before he turned off the lights.

Johnny still had your cellphone in his hand. Was this your family? No. It would be incestuous to send porn to your daughter or sister. It must be a man not related.

Most of the content presented on my blog is reblogged from others, which is pulled from somewhere else on the web.

However, when you see me posting a photograph, 99% of the time, that's a photo I took. Once in awhile it's taken using a DSLR, but the vast majority are simply cellphone photos. There might be a photo or two shot on film somewhere in the mix, but I haven't posted one of those in a long time.

Occasionally I post a screen capture, but that isn't too common for me. The exception is when I use a modern computer to do video capture on an old computer's video signal.

Once in a blue moon I will make a post of my own with someone else's pictures or screenshots, but I usually say when that's the case, and hopefully where it came from.

a lot of people in the notes correctly stated that the meme shouldnt be spread because it had the n word. apparently op's solution was to edit the word out, but this doesnt really work because the central premise of the joke is to call the CIA racial slurs. slapping a censor bar over a fundamentally racist meme doesnt make it not racist, and shows laziness and a lack of compassion to any black person seeing it.

the original meme had text on the bottom part of the logo saying "a bunch of [slur]s". its origins were when a man uploaded a video of himself talking about his conspiracies, including one where "CIA [slur]s glow in the dark." its passed around by people on 4chan, mostly /pol/, the "politically incorrect" board. ive seen people expressing gratitude that "the meme is better now because the slur was edited out" and i want to make it clear thats not the case. you can look up "glowposting" if you want to know more, but keep in mind you are going to see a lot of n-words and general 4chan racism

Question 1:

Cell phones are powerful tools in allowing movements like #BlackLivesMatter and #MeToo to gain momentum through citizen journalism and the creation of online communities.  

To start, equipped with cameras, cell phones enable regular individuals to become citizen journalists, blurring the lines between consumers and producers of media content (Little, 2024). Citizen journalism gives power to the general public, allowing them to share their experiences with a wide audience without being censored, ignored, or silenced (Little, 2024). For instance, they can document events such as instances of police brutality, racial profiling, sexual harassment, or assault. A powerful example of this capability was seen in the viral police brutality incident involving George Floyd that happened in 2021. The first screenshot attached shows the viral police brutality incident where George Floyd was murdered by a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Similarly, in the #Metoo movement, the second screenshot shows a woman who was being sexually harassed in public while on a live stream.

This incident gained widespread attention on various social media platforms exposing the prevalence of such behavior and drawing attention to the #MeToo movement.

Moreover, cellphones facilitate the creation of online communities where individuals can share their content and connect with other activists. For instance, the Blackout Tuesday event on June 2, 2020, flooded social media platforms with black tiles transforming social media into a stage for advocacy and awareness (Bakare & Davies, 2020). This dominated social media as major institutions, artists, actors, and regular people participated, drawing attention to the #BlackLivesMatter movement (Bakare & Davies, 2020). This intended to stop online activity in solidarity for the #BlackLivesMatter movement (Bakare & Davies, 2020).

Overall, cellphones redistribute the power within society by giving regular people the ability to document and share their experiences online (Little, 2024). This shift challenges existing hierarchies, such as those dominated by traditional news outlets owned primarily by White males and empowers individuals to demand change (New Social Media Tools, 2016). Cellphones facilitate citizen journalism, social media, and community mobilization to empower individuals to document and share social injustices consequently enabling movements like #BlackLivesMatter and #MeToo to gain momentum.

Question 4:

Another hashtag that has changed the concept of power on the web and the world is #FreePalestine and #PalestineLivesMatter. This hashtag is a global movement advocating for the rights and freedom of Palestinians by Israel (Malli, 2021, para. 7). Citizens reporting from Palestine use these hashtags to post unedited scenes and events in real time with a global audience (Malli, 2021, para. 5). The third screenshot shows various TikTok’s using the hashtag to share news, personal stories, and calls for justice for Palestine. One of the significant changes brought about by the #FreePalestine movement is the shift in the narrative surrounding the Israel apartheid which favours Israel perspective (Malli, 2021, para. 3). It has challenged mainstream media representations and showed the realities of the Palestinian experiences and grievances (Malli, 2021, para. 9). Despite Israel’s efforts to shift the blame of civilian casualties onto Hamas, the movement holds them responsible for the devastating loss of Palestinian lives (Shurafa et al., 2024, para. 14). Israel, as well as other government’s effort to control the narrative is being stripped away.

Furthermore, the #FreePalestine movement has become a worldwide movement as people countries like Canada and the U.S are protesting in support and boycotting corporations like McDonald’s and Starbucks over their perceived support of Israel (Rajvanshi & Serhan, 2024, para. 1). In conclusion, the #FreePalestine movement has played a significant role in challenging power dynamics on the web and in the world by giving voice to marginalized communities, raising awareness about their struggles, and advocating for justice and freedom.

The Evolution of Grand Theft Auto: A Glimpse into newly released GTA 6

GTA 6 is currently under production, but they released the game’s trailer in early December of 2023, according to Rockstar Games. The trailer release date has been set, and the teaser image includes a hint of a Miami location. This revelation follows the unusual September 18 leak of over 90 images and videos from an early alpha build of the game. Rockstar is attempting to take down the leaked content from the internet after discovering and verifying the attack.

GTA 6 release date: When was GTA 6 announced?

Rockstar Games confirmed GTA 6 was in “active development” in February 2022 as part of a larger GTA 5 and GTA Online Community Update. The company emphasized its willingness to go forward and thanked its followers for their support. Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, reiterated that GTA 6 production was “well in motion” in their financial results presentation in August 2022. CEO Strauss Zelnick emphasized the team’s dedication to setting creative milestones for the series, businesses, and culture in the same way that its prior frontline releases have.

GTA 6 leaks: Are the latest GTA 6 leaks true?

On September 18, 2022, a large GTA 6 leak happened, leading to the internet distribution of dozens of videos and pictures from a claimed in-development version of the game. According to Rockstar, an unauthorized third party unlawfully accessed and took proprietary material from their computers, notably early development footage for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto. The corporation was dissatisfied with the public’s release of game details and is attempting to keep everyone updated as quickly as possible. The GTA Forums have deleted any traces of illegally obtained images and videos to prevent being “removed by Rockstar.” 

Why is GTA 6 taking so much time to release?

GTA 6 is taking time because gamers were playing its preceding games, such as GTA 5 and GTA Online, a lot. Hence, Rockstar focused on improving these games with updates, patches, and fixes.

Will GTA 6 offer a GTA Vice City feeling?

Rockstar has verified the authenticity of leaked GTA 6 gameplay footage, which provides a clearer grasp of the city and location. The clip includes scenes from GTA 3: Vice City, as well as an underground train system with the words “Vice City Metro” written on the side. The city looks to be contemporary, with NPCs wielding cellphones and dressed in current clothing. Social media fans think a character mentions the demise of LifeInvader CEO Michael De Santa, implying that GTA 6 takes place after the events of GTA 5.

According to leaked footage and screenshots, the final GTA 6 map may include additional places outside of Vice City. Can there be a female protagonist in GTA 6? 

Rockstar is developing GTA 6’s first female protagonist, a first for the 3D era. Early development footage reveals two playable characters, Jason and Lucia, as well as GTA 5 character swapping. The released footage shows them stealing a cafe together and switching characters almost instantly, as opposed to GTA 5’s lengthy perspective shift.

With leaked early development footage, Rockstar is purportedly creating GTA 6, displaying new elements such as stealth techniques, a return to the weapon wheel, health buff items such as painkillers, and enhanced AI routines for tracking Jason and Lucia. When will the GTA 6 trailer be released?

Rockstar has announced that the first GTA 6 teaser is set to release on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. The announcement of the ‘Trailer 1’ release was accompanied by a teaser image featuring a sun-soaked horizon and some shadowed trees that give off strong Vice City vibes. Experimentation Video: Debunking the Golden Age Myth

I joined a video editing competition organized by the Communicators of UP. It was during the commemoration of the Martial Law declaration last month. The theme was “Lift the Sheets Up: Uncovering the Dictator’s Dirt”, and it was included in the video guidelines that participants must respond to it in a video of not more than 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Aside from the fact that Sir Loren will give extra points to those who participate, I was urged to join the competition because I saw it as a great opportunity to experiment and sharpen my skills when it comes to digital storytelling.

Personally, I am passionate about video editing, and honestly, during the past production classes in my second year in the programme, I was usually the video editor. Joining the competition, I assume, is the best decision for me to rekindle this passion.

The process was experimental on my end, as there were nuances in the actual project that were never planned. Some plans were not followed, which I think is the most beautiful thing about digital storytelling. You get to explore! With the tools in hand, the possibilities of crafting a compelling story are indeed beyond limits.

All the hard work I poured into this competition was worth it. Even with ample time, I was able to deliver what I wanted to deliver. I achieved first place.
