Jon & Sansa | Winter in my Heart

I am simply obsessed with these 2. All the Metas and Fan Fiction from you beautiful kindred souls makes me feel so alive! I appreciate each and everyone of you. @istumpysk and @esther-dot @starwarsprincess1986 @sherlokiness @stormcloudrising , you guys give me LIFE with your Metas.

I'm more of a book fan because the show did these characters no justice. We all know WHY. I hope you guys are ok with me posting all these sappy videos. Im sort of new to Tumblr, and I love it here. When I heard about the Kit and Sofie movie set at the time of "war of the roses" I became even more obsessed with Jon and Sansa.

They are obviously giving it away with this movie and trying to get the "Anti's" to get comfortable with the fact that these 2 are inevitable. Before Sansa appeared at Castle Black and even before the show begin I always wondered what the deal was with these 2. It just didn't make any sense, or as someone else put it: "Jon and Sansa are the LOUDEST SILENCE". I ALWAYS had that feeling that the girl in grey would be her. There isn't a single doubt in my mind.

I think something horrible will go down in the Vale and the Blackfish will help Sansa some sort of way to get to Jon. I read many Metas where they say Jon will come back from the dead a mindless beast, and he will have no POV. That's just impossible. Our main character/HERO a mute stuck in a wolf.

First of all I don't think Jon is dead AT ALL. I believe he is hanging on by a string due to blood loss and shock and possibly in a coma like Bran was at the beginning of the series. He will warg Ghost and find out many things about himself through Ghost while his friends (the wildings) nurse him back to life. Though VAL is not one of my favorite characters, some say she is a healer. That could be good for Jon.

Melsandra will probably burn Shrinee anyway because she thinks Stannis is dead. I also think Jon was drugged before the stabbings. The way he spoke of clumsily trying to retrieve LongClaw, and he just gave me a weird vibe. I DO NOT TRUST Satin guys. I know everyone loves him but if Jon were drugged, Satin always provided the drinks. Maybe I'm reaching too far, but that's just my gut feeling. Satin is Judas.

Cerci Lannister had plans on taking Jon off the Chess Board as well, so there is no telling if she orchestrated the whole thing or not. Whatever happens, it's gonna be real UGLY when Jon wakes up. Jon Snow as we knew him is definitely DEAD and died in the snow. The real BEAST is what we will have left of Jon. He will make the Hound look like a little poodle dog.

I do also believe he will be in those woods as Ghost while Sansa is being chased by Ramsay's hounds. He will definitely kill them all including whomever is with the dogs. There was a passage in the books if I remember correctly how when Ghost was a pup, and he was eating. A dog approached to try and steal his prize. Jon said the Dog was much bigger than Ghost, but all Ghost had to do was look at her and she ran away. Ghost got right back to his prize.

I've always wondered if that was a foreshadowing for Ghost fighting the hounds. Another thing, WHERE do Ghost go when Jon wonders of his whereabouts? Well, I'm almost done here Jonsa family. I hope I'm not boring you guys to death with this long book of a post I am writing.

I DO believe Sansa is the Girl in Grey and I'll die by that. I also think that after Ghost!Jon saves her, Brianne and Jamie or Brianne and Company will get her to Castle Black. The dying horse in my opinion is not a real Horse. It could be a person. We've already had the real dying horse with Alyas. Sansa doesn't have to be dressed in Grey either because so many other things links her to Grey.

I remember she had a green cloak in Kings Landing that belonged to the hound and if I'm not mistaken she also got on the boat with LF with that cloak on. Where is it? I do not know.

Anyway, Sansa will arrive at Castle Black shortly after Jon wakes up from his coma (refuse to believe he died and actual death) People will SAY he rose from the dead as they did Sansa when she left Kings Landing. It will be a myth, but people will believe it. Jon will NOT be the same. I believe he will have all of his memories which preserved in Ghost but he will become "THE BEAST" After he has "killed the boy." He would have tapped into his powers and possibly converse with Bran and Bloodraven.

Jon will probably forget what happened in the woods and in his wolf dreams but he will have the shock of his life to see Sansa Stark of ALL people come through those gates. She's come to the end of the world to seek HIM out. He will realize it was the wrong sister he almost got murdered behind.

Everyone will fear him at Castle Black. He will be a cold blooded killer with no humanity left until she walks through those gates. It's a craving Jon had (to see her again) but he kept that to himself. We know this from Ygritte, Alays and Val. He was looking for Sansa in all these women, and now the real deal stands right before him.

I'm not saying it's going to be an easy journey, but she will be the ONLY ONE to calm the beast. Jon will protect her of course (or steal her) but he will be mean to Sansa at first. He will eventually fall madly in love with her and vice versa. She will sing to him, annoy him, anger him, pacify him and Jon won't know what hit him.

They will fall in love because of what they both endured. Jon will be OVER protective of Sansa in the books, possibly locking her up in a tower like Stannis has Val, but this time there is a real princess in the tower that Jon WANTS to steal. I know I've reached my limits here. I am sorry for rambling or any errors, I'm just so happy to have ran across you fine people. If I didn't tag someone is because I don't remember the names and I'm still fairly new on Tumblr.

summary: Reader is from a lost kingdom one that used to have a right to the throne and in the midst of this game for the iron throne she becomes pregnant with Jon Snow’s baby. It becomes a dangerous game the closer you get to your due date, and many people want nothing more than your baby.

you turned over throwing up into the bucket placed next to your bed, two days you’ve lived like this nausea overtaking your body. Nobody dared enter the queens room other than your nurse so it surprised you to hear light footsteps approach and another females voice called to you.

“My my the mighty Y/N Sinclair left bedridden by a common cold.” Melisandre smirked to herself.

“If I didn’t feel so unwell you know I would have your head.” You sneered as she chuckled shaking her head.

“Relax your majesty,” she said mockingly, “I’m only here to help.”

“and how can you help?” You said sitting back on your elbows.

“Well after hearing about your little predicament I thought I might see if I...”

“Whatever might help cure this.” You leaned back closing your eyes trying to stop the nauseous feeling from overtaking you again. She watched as you focused and took long dragging breaths. She stepped forward and lifted the shirt you wore examining the smooth skin of your torso she lifted a delicate hand running smooth fingers along the warm skin, you felt as her cold hand made contact and took another deep breath.

“last time I saw this, we were doing much more enjoyable activities,” she spoke remembering the night you laid tangled in dark sheets sweat glistened on your bodies. Hands ran along tense muscles as candles dimly lit the room shadows dancing on the walls.

“Melisandre…” you spoke softly.

“My queen…” she said stopping you, you felt her palm pressed against your stomach and isn’t wasnt long before another wave rolled over your body, you lurched forward head into the bucket, sitting back up you saw the look on her face.

“what?”

“You’re with child… you’re pregnant.”

“what… but?”

“that night with Jon Snow…”

“but you said I couldn’t get pregnant!”

“It appears I was wrong, you’re with child, his child.”

You stood in your study staring at the open books and maps laid out on the table before you, you ran a soothing hand over your swollen stomach soothing your growing child. You leaned down placing your hands on the table and closing your eyes trying to clear your head but the small pains you were feeling were making it hard, you were so focused you didn’t hear as heavy footsteps and the clink of a swords sheath entering the room.

“My Queen?”

You slightly jumped and spun around being greeted by the tall blonde woman standing before you, “Brienne.” You breathed a sigh of relief.

When word traveled that an heir to the iron throne was carrying the baby of the lord commander of the Nights watch and Warden of the North many others realized the weight of your situation. Many started to put ransoms out for your baby knowing that it would be an undeniable heir to the seven kingdoms. The Lannisters sent Brienne to hunt you down but after a promise of freedom, loyalty, and security she pledged her allegiance and is now commander of your armies.

“I apologize my queen I didn’t mean to startle you.”

“Oh it’s alright, just caught me a little off guard that’s all.” You chuckled slightly.

“I thought I might update you…”

“About?”

“The Lannisters.”

“what do you make of it?”

“Right now it’s believed that Jaime and a few men are on their way here other kingdoms have been moving discreetly and have decided to wait until after the heir is born to strike but Cerci believes that your baby is the key to the throne.”

“Of course she does… what does Jon have to say.”

“He’s not happy but they’re dealing with the white walkers so he’s unable to supply help.”

“Mm so you think we need help?”

“Depends on the amount of men they bring, a few and we would be secure but the entire army and I’m not sure.”

you rubbed the stress lines in between your eyes before looking back up at the woman before you, “so what do you think we should do?”

“In my opinion…” you slowly nodded encouraging her. “It would soothe my suspicions if we had more help, not knowing what the other plans are it makes me uneasy.”

You turned back around looking at everything laid before you, you ruled a peaceful kingdom and only fought in wars when needed due to your powerful nature, your warriors were the most skilled and typically were a tipping point during battle so you tried hard to stay out of small matters between the seven kingdoms but when they decided to come after your baby it meant everyone was on high alert. You felt more cramping leaning back onto the table with both hands, Brienne noticed this and stepped forward guiding you towards a chair. You waved her off rambling about tired muscles.

“My Queen are you okay?”

“Yes just tired is all.”

“You’re getting close are you sure you don’t want me to fetch your midwife it will be a few days ride I can always send on of my knights.”

“No no I believe I just need to rest no need causing a panic through the kingdom.”

“Yes ma’lady as you wish.”

before you could say anything further a young servant girl came barging into the room, “Your majesty,” he said out of breath.

“What do you want girl?” Brienne spoke up first.

“Its okay… you can speak love.”

“it’s the Targaryen she’s here.” You looked to Brienne as she focused on the young girl you placed a hand on her arm letting her know to stand down. “She wants to speak to your majesty, and requests your presence in the throne room.”

“Thank you, please send for the Red Priestess to meet me there.”

“Yes your majesty.” The young girl said before running away. Brienne turned to you feeling your hand tighten around her arm, you closed your eyes taking a deep breath a strong arm cradling your bump.

“Ma’lady I think you need to rest.”

“I’ll be okay, I just need to make it through this and then Melisandre can aid me from there, please though accompany me.”

“As you wish.” She said watching your movements closely.

Not long after you stood in your throne room with Melisandre and Brienne behind you Danerys standing before you with a few of her guards. You were discussing terms of an allyship and how she would help protect you and your baby in exchange for a treaty of peace between your kingdoms, you knew that would make you both untouchable seeing as you were both some of the most powerful and while agreeing you started to feel more cramping.

“I believe this will be most beneficial for both sides.”

“what about the Lannisters? Or my treaty to help protect the Stark girls?”

“I believe the Stark girls need to be looked after and who better to do it than our joint kingdoms, they will have an safe haven in my house as well as yours, and as for the Lannisters, they are no threat to me.”

“Well then I believe we’ve made our decision, it’s now time for the councils to join and discuss final matters, we can reconvene in a day or two… if you’ll excuse me.”

“Yes your majesty,” she said turning and the room before you quickly emptied leaving you with the other two women.

“I believe that went better than expected…” Melisandre started.

“With our armies joining I believe we’ll be able to take down Jaime Lannister and his men.” The taller blonde explained. You heard them discussing the matters but it became background noise and you felt sharp pains and then you felt it the warm liquid trickling down your thighs, your gasp pulled their attention to your stressed form.

“Y/N are you okay?”

“My Queen?” Both women spoke.

“One moment.” You said unsure reaching for the hand Brienne carefully extended.

“What’re you feeling?”

“I’m unsure at the moment.” You said wincing leaning into the strong woman, this felt nothing like before it had gotten worse though you’ve never experienced labor so you wouldn’t know what to look for. Melisandre flicked her hand coming closer to you, and then ran it along the taut skin, “The child has dropped, your in labor.”

“Brienne get your fastest rider and send them to fetch my midwife…”

“Yes ma’lady though it may be a days ride there…”

“I understand, though I believe my water just broke.” They quickly looked at the floor where the hem of you silk dress showed slight water marks, she quickly turned to leave the room as the red haired priestess guided you to your chambers.

“I will do everything I can to aid you in the mean time.” Melisandre spoke.

“It’s too early.” You winced again as she opened the door to your chambers.

“You will get through this.” You looked at eyes as she studied your strained features, you read her like a book, you had both seen very vulnerable sides of each other but none like this and it worried her.

A few hours later and no midwife, Brienne sent the fastest riders and then went searching for a qualified midwife but nothing yet, so you struggled through contractions in your chambers with Melisandre commanding your staff on what to do.

“Whatever you do, do not alert our guests of this.” You demanded to the room.

“Y/N you need not worry of that, right now I need you to focus on you and this child.”

“I can’t… Mel…” you strained tears starting to run down your face.

“Clear the room.” She commanded to the maid, the guards and whoever else might try to enter.

“Ugh… thank you.”

“You have nothing to thank me for.”

“I-I but… God it hurts.” You strained as you leaned against the tall bedpost pressing your hand into your lower back, the fireplace on the wall making the white satin gown loosely covering your features seem transparent, revealing your heavily swollen breast and the large baby bump that resided underneath.

She stepped closer to you trying to comfort you but you pushed her away, you didn’t want anyone seeing you like this, even her.

“Y/N, this baby is coming and I’m going to need you to let me help you.”

“Melisandre...

“My Queen there is no question in this matter.” You looked up at her reading the steepness and unmoving expression.

"I can handle this, you don't need to be here."

"I didn't ask if you could handle this, I know you're strong, but I'm here to help you and this baby... if you won't let me help you let me help this baby." she said stepping in next to you, running a hand over your bicep as you tensed again.

"Nnnghhh... fine." you agreed. she guided you onto the bed and for hours you fought through contractions, the room dimly lit by candles and the fireplace, light fading quickly outside the window, swaet soaked hair caked your face and neck as you strained pulling against the dark maroon sheets knuckles white with exertion.

An hour later and Brienne came bursting through the doors Daenerys hot on her heels.

"Wh-what is she doing he-here?" you said realizing that your guest and ally were standing in the same god-forsaken room, watching you labor heavily in your most vulnerable position.

"I couldn't find a midwife in time and the riders are still hours out... she heard me and..."

"I know a little about this from talking with others and seeing it very few times, I offered to help."

"B-But you're a guest in this palace... I can't ask that of you."

"You weren't asking, but I see you're in need." you continued to struggle for hours before progress was made and then finally you held a beautiful baby in your arms. The midwife finally arrived and the room was quickly cleared leaving you and Melisandre with the midwife, you fell into a slumber and were awoken later by the coo of a baby, your baby. You watched as Melisandre paced slowly in front of the fireplace whispering softly to your baby.

"Your majesty, you're awake and you have a beautiful baby girl." she said walking over to you and handing you a bundle of fur. you slowly moved it away from her face revealing miniature features.

"My beautiful baby girl, one that will one day rule and entire kingdom."

"She has only the best example to teach her how." Melisandre spoke up.

"I can only hope that she's so much better than us." you said watching as she slowly stretched and turned in your arms, knowing that this little one that you stared down at would one day rule an entire kingdom and your future rested on her as much as they did you. You vowed in that moment that you would fight for her and do everything possible to protect her from this cruel and cold world.

no, i don't think it would add anything to their story, nor would it add to tyrion's. they are way too entrenched in their identity as lannisters & obsessed with tywin as their father for it to be anything than a cheap plot twist

Do you really think Jon died? I don't. I think Jon will be sort of like Bran and in a coma until the girl in grey arrives. 😉

I also think Jon was drugged before the stabbing and I believe Satin (Satin) had something to do with it, as Cerci Lannister.

My real question: Just who is this VAL really? Alot of deranged fans seem to think she will be "the Lady of Winterfell"..... 😂 What a JOKE. Sansa will kill her dreams.

I don't think Jon died. I think he warged into Ghost so that's why he didn't feel the forth knife. Here's a post explaining the use of the word "blood welling" and why it's not proof he's bleeding out and dying. George used the words at least 8 times but they were always followed by a killing blow. I am not sure about Satin being complicit on Jon's death but Jon has more loyal men than we think. It's Bowen and Alliser who are the traitors to the Watch because they're the ones, along with Janos, who are playing politics with Cersei. They've been having private meetings to betray Jon even before Jon decided to march down to WF.

Val as the Lady of Winterfell? That would literally happen only over the dead bodies of the Starks. Jon can never be Lord of Winterfell as long as his cousins are alive. His legitimacy comes from Robb's will but that will be null because that's assuming he comes from the male line of Starks- Ned, which he is not. He is Lyanna's son. Ned Stark's daughters come before the nephew.

Val is just the equivalent of Harry. The romantic interest who seemingly looks perfect on the surface but has flaws that are hard to swallow. I think they're both gonna be short lived.

House Lannister is in a bit of a bind in the near future:

Cercie refuses to wed (and thus have legitimate children) again.

Lancel and Jamie are part of celibate knightly orders.

Tyrion is an attainted traitor.

Tyrek is missing.

Tommen is alive... But he's not a Lannister King, he's a Baratheon King.

Who does that leave for when Cercie dies without a new legitimate child? Martyn, I guess? Or one of his kids?

House Lannister is looking at extinction in the near term. Unless I'm missing something.

Oh, I’m not worried about the continuation of House Lannister. You’re certainly right that the line of Tywin (legitimate, anyway - again, hi Dancy and Marei) may well be headed for extinction: Cersei’s doom has been long prophesied (as has the doom of her children, even if they were considered legitimate), and I don’t love the odds of Jaime or Tyrion surviving the series (much less having legitimate children of their own). However, Tytos’ other (male-line) grandchildren are a bit of a question mark: again, I agree that Lancel is permanently out of the running (and, I think, not long for this world anyway), but the ultimate fates of Martyn (Kevan’s son, last mentioned by Genna as a possible replacement groom for Amerei Frey in the newly Lannister-sponsored holding of Darry) and Janei (Kevan’s toddler daughter, presumably still with her mother Dorna in the westerlands), as well as Tyrek (missing, but I think too often mentioned to be left as simply an open mystery) are as yet unknown. And that’s without mentioning the female-line descendants of Tytos Lannister via his only daughter, Genna: assuming any of them survive the series, such Lannister-Freys could make a claim on the basis of their relation to Lord Tytos (as Genna herself predicts might happen with Riverrun, if Robert Arryn would be tempted to make a claim to the holding of his maternal Tully grandfather).

And all of that is only discussing Tytos’ (legitimate) line (which of course excludes Joy Hill, the bastard daughter of Gerion Lannister). Tytos’ younger brother, Jason, has quite a few descendants around in the era of the main novels, from both his first marriage to Alys Stackspear and his second marriage to Marla Prester (not counting, once again, his own bastard daughter). Indeed, Jason has at least two living male-line grandsons today (Damion, the son of his eldest son, Damon (who himself might still be alive), and Daven, the son of his son Stafford), as well as a male-line great-grandson (Damion’s son Lucion). Nor indeed does this count include Jason’s other sons by Marla Prester (and whatever children they may have or may have had), or Jason’s female and female-line descendants (such as his other two daughters by Marla (and whatever children they have or may have had), Daven’s sisters Cerenna and Myrielle, and Damion’s daughter Lanna, with Jast sons of her own). 

And that is only going to the (known, legitimate) descendants of Lord Damon Lannister, the “Grey Lion”. We don’t have a Lannister family tree beyond Damon, and while F&B certainly added more Lannisters, there is nevertheless a definite gap between young Lord Loreon Lannister (who is about 10 when F&B concludes in 136 AC) and Lord Damon Lannister (who was lord around the turn of the third century AC). There could be any number of Lannisters of Casterly Rock out there that are simply beyond our scope of knowledge for the moment.

In the words of Catelyn, “The Lannisters of Casterly Rock were a damnably large and fertile house”.

GOT: Damn you fucked up

Fuck these writers and their portraying of characters how the fuck do you misunderstand characters so deeply.

They turned Dany into a power hungry awful ruler who doesn’t care about killing her people which she was Always against.

They made Brianne cry over some fucking cock she could have killed in seconds after he played her like that.

They killed off Missandei the only woman of color to use her as a pawn to make Dany angrier for no reason and made her death seem so ... small.

They turned Dany and Sansa against each other for no fucking reason like Dany is no fool she would listen to the logistical advice Sansa is giving because she is a smart queen who made it this far for a fucking reason and would not fall prey to some stupid fight pitting women against each other.

Sansa has grown sooo much and I’m so proud of how she has become an intelligent considerate leader but they made her turn against Dany for no good reason to make things “more interesting” even though it’s totally out of character because Dany and Sansa were not given a single opportunity to really talk with each other they were just put against each other from the beginning.

They have given Jon ZERO character development like that mothafucker was literally resurrected and he is Still the same person as always. Jon would be an awful king he is easily manipulated, has NO motivation for the throne, and is awful at political relations demanding choices which may be difficult and not always just, he is good at fighting and being in the North and being a military leader Not a king.

They built up to the Bran versus Night King plot and made that seem like such a deeper issue and ended without any explanation about where Bran went during the battle, how he can use his powers of looking into the past, who the Night King was and if there is a chance of something like him coming back because again... fucking time travel and he can See all of time yet that whole plot just ended like that??

And the WoOooRST thing ever literally fucking NO one cares about the actual people in these kingdoms except apparently Varys so literally None of them deserve the damn throne.

The ONLY characters that are well fleshed out and fully developed who remain true to themselves AND grow are Arya and Cerci. Like at this point fuck them all and end the show with those two because no one else deserves the damn throne.

Allll because these writers have done Such a disservice to these characters who we have learned to understand and grow with... I am so disappointed they should have hired George Martin and writers from Better epics for this season with the budget they had I would have rather had Horrible unbelievable costumes and sets with a strong moving and true to the characters and plot line season over this ridiculous season.

Let this mark the day that mad queen Daenerys was born!! Between the traitors she calls her advisors and the rapid decline of close confidants... Well. I really do hope she keeps a level head in this war.

She could stand to listen to others more often. Did she really expect Cerci to allow her waltz into Kings Landing for their battle just like that? She could have sent a spy to check out the roads, while her army recuperates just as Sansa advised but she just had to show who the queen is.

Preparing to watch the last episode of game of thrones. Even though it is bitter sweet I will still remember the shock horror of Ned’s beheadment, and the red wedding. I will remember the satisfaction of Dany taking the unsullied and killing the masters, the joy of watching Joffrey die, the sweet love of Arya and Gendry and of the protectiveness of the Hound to his little birds. Tyrion’s drinking game. The feeling of betrayal by Shae with Tywin Lannister, the scream of Ellaria Sand as the Mountain crushed Oberions head, the satisfied smile on Elena Tyrell’s face when she confessed to poisoning Joffrey and the sweet smile of Margery. Two chickens and a pony. The kisses of Jon and Ygritte in the cave, the bravery of Sam facing the white walker. Aunt Lysa’s face as she fell through the moon door. The dramatic inhale of breath as Jon came back to life. I’ll remember the reunion of Sansa and Jon. The gasping brilliance of the Battle of the Bastards. The face of Sansa as she watched both Ramsay and Petyr killed. The resurrection of Theons true character. And the might of Dany’s three dragons... greater, more complex stories have never been told for us modern audiences in such a successful way.

I know the last season hasn’t been as satisfying as the rest but let’s remember Game of Thrones at its best b/c that is where we grew to love it and keep it in our hearts.

You know what, in reality it’s my own damn fault for looking up other peoples opinions about this episode on this site. I get that everybody deserves their own opinions but dang. People acting like my 2 year old brother getting his favorite toy taken away. shouting out “BAD WRITING, RACIST, MISOGYNISTIC BULLSHIT” and not recognizing good writing. Saying that all the character arcs have been ruined, but in reality they are being completed.
