ASOIAF TAROTS: CARD N°7, THE CHARIOT (JAIME LANNISTER)

The figure usually represents a king or a warrior driving a chariot (or chariot) pulled by two horses, in some cases joined at the end of the body. The King (or the warrior) is the one who holds the reins of his own actions, victory and triumph in his hands; sometimes revenge. He's the one who is confronted with the awareness of being able to decide his own destiny.

The meaning of the Chariot changes according to the direction with which it appears to the consultant: if read straight, the card represents fidelity and glory. The Chariot is an arcane of victory and indicates a new condition, not only economic (which in any case looks promising), but psychological and of attitude; matured through trials and defeats, the consultant is now self-confident and has learned to defeat rivals and look at reality as a whole with a critical eye.

In love, the Chariot indicates a propitious beginning, or a new beginning (when starting from a relationship in crisis). If read upside down, the card indicates a difficult growth path, relationships with the partner made of jealousy and deep quarrels, and an overly pedantic attitude in the workplace.

Author's notes: I found the description of the seventh card very fitting with Jaime's path to redemption, with his personal growth and at the same time with his ambiguity (he's a character who presents himself to the reader as a real villain: ✨he pushes a child off a tower✨), but slowly reveals other nuances of his character. In romantic relationships, we know that the relationship with Cersei does not always proceed in a linear way: there are ups and downs, abandonments and returns. And then there is the growth also given by the meeting with Brienne. In short, I immediately felt excellent vibes between the card of the Chariot and the character of Jaime!
