I found, on YouTube, a 'roadie filmed' version of a Stones concert from 1997, and the band introductions part of it is possibly the cutest thing ever. They take mutually supportive to a whole new level...
When Mick brings out Chuck Leavell, Ronnie's there to provide him a grand entrance:
Later, Mick does the horn section, and Keith goes running across the stage so he can be the first to applaud Bobby:
Charlie gets in on the action as well:
Through the whole thing, whenever Mick is introducing one of the non-Stones touring band members (Andy, Bobby, Matt, etc), you can hear someone doing an absolutely piercing whistle of encouragement, but I couldn't figure out who it was. Until it got to Darryl:
Also, this has nothing to do with them being cute, but Mick pops in for a chat during Ronnie's applause and is, for some reason, dressed like a pimp in a bad '70s movie:
Of course, Charlie's applause/audience appreciation is the most raucous. He ends up with everyone on stage coming to his kit to cheer, all of the roadies chanting for him at the top of their lungs, and Keith doing his trademark bow:
And it ends with Charlie doing a beautiful, funky/jazzy drum solo to hype up Keith:
