The Jedi Order mainly being an institution about teaching makes me sad that we never see more "Jedi classes" outside of the popular ones like martial arts, healthcare and Force wackery.
Alongside basic language and science education etc there have to be at least some trade and college courses on offer, right? The Jedi need a bunch of their own people with law degrees. Proper pedagogy studies for future crèchemasters. Cooks. Managers. All types of engineers. Electricians. Accountants. Researchers. How many Jedi hold a doctorate or professorate? Because I think a large number of them do. Their databanks are filled with millennia of dissertations. You can still find Yoda's articles from 500 years ago and cite them in your history research paper.
The Order just having its own micro-economy going on and every member getting their own regular job education next to all the lightsaber swinging adventures... pls

I just started the quantum physics unit for physics, 10/10 W course.
Something interesting I've learned is that the photoelectric effect (when light of a certain wavelength hits an electron of an atom, and causes it to be released) is the reason why cancer happens. The sun releases a lot of EMR, including UV, these high energy waves, when coming into contact with metals can release an electron as aforementioned, this can also happen with non metals, like in DNA. A stray wave hitting your DNA such that it breaks some of the hydrogen bonds and other bonds between nucleotides may cause a cell to misread genetic instructions and cause it to replicate uncontrollably. A la cancer.
It's weird to me how random chance can lead to this happening, turning a cell which is in interphase nearly like 80% of the time, doing its job, then a random mutation occurs making it cancerous and using the body to nurture itself. Gross, but kinda fascinating

I’m literally such a peerist like I literally wanna make friends and be friends with everyone but it’s so impossible with being in this limited vessel because I don’t have the energy to be friends w EVERYONE and that’s the main reason why I might keep my distance but even in saying that it’s like I wish I can be. I really do wish

okay wait but pitch perfect au in which steve harrington is the senior leader of their school's acapella group facing redemption after a royal flub at the previous years championships, and eddie munson is the newest member of the group who's tired of the same old shit and wants to shake things up. naturally, steve and eddie clash — until they don't.

People get weird about calling the doctor either smart or stupid under the tenuous logic of either 'they're a genius, of course they're not stupid look at the things they do!' or 'look at this stupid brain-dead thing the doctor did! they have no brain cells whatsoever' and manage to avoid realising that the smartest people in the world are also the stupidest and the stupidest people in the world also can be pretty damn smart as well.
The doctor is a moron, totally devoid of brain cells. Also a genius. It depends on what metric of intelligence you're using. They can be both of these things at once without it being even slightly contradictory.
