Setsuko Hara and Shuji Sano in Here's to the Young Lady (Keisuke Kinoshita, 1949) Cast: Shuji Sano, Setsuko Hara, Takeshi Sakamoto, Keiji Sada, Chieko Higashiyama, Masami Morikawa, Junji Masuda, Yasushi Nagata, Fusako Fujima, Sugisaku Aoyama, Sachiko Murase. Screenplay: Keisuke Kinoshita. Cinematography: Hiroshi Kusuda. Art direction: Motoji Kojima. Film editing: Yoshi Sugihara, Shizuko Osawa. Music: Chuji Kinoshita. Stop me if you've seen this one: A middle-aged working-class single man meets a pretty young woman from the upper classes and.... Okay, right. It's a romantic cliché, one that's so irresistible that Samuel Goldwyn once ordered a screenplay to be written on the basis of a title alone, The Cowboy and the Lady (H.C. Potter, 1938), and it's the inspiration for the teaming of Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn. But what sets Keisuke Kinoshita's Here's to the Young Lady apart is its country and time of origin: postwar Japan. In part the film is a manifestation of the occupying forces' desire to bring about a more egalitarian Japan, one in which a system of caste and class would be broken down, but it's also a reflection of economic reality in a recovering country whose male population had been decimated by the war. So Keizo Ishizu (Shuji Sano), a 34-year-old man who owns a thriving auto repair business and has dreams of getting into manufacturing, is introduced by his friend Sato (Takeshi Sakamoto) to Yasuko Ikeda (Setsuko Hara), from a cultured and educated family, as a potential wife. Ishizu is smitten instantly by the lovely but very shy young woman, but he also has doubts that she would ever be interested in him -- and he is sort of a schlub, whose chief recreation is drinking at his favorite bar. But then Ishizu visits Yasuko at her home and meets her family, learning that they are on the brink of financial disaster. Kinoshita starts with mostly long shots of the living room of the Ikeda home, but then switches to some shots from Ishizu's point of view that reveal the threadbare upholstery and well-worn furnishings. It turns out that Yasuko's father is in prison because after the war he was tricked into joining a company that was on the shady side. When its fraudulent practices were exposed, he honorably took the blame, even though it's suggested that he was ignorant of them. Moreover, a loan is about to come due, one that was taken out to help the family -- which includes Yasuko's mother, grandparents, sister and brother-in-law -- to survive. Ishizu has every reason to flee from this entanglement, but he's so taken with Yasuko that he agrees to court her for a while to see if their marriage would work out. She suggests that they go to the ballet, where he winds up in tears -- partly because he realizes that he can never be a match for her in culture. He takes her to a boxing match, where she winces at the violence but nevertheless winds up cheering for one of the fighters. And so on as obstacles to their marriage rise. We know how it will end, but Kinoshita makes that ending almost plausible, especially with the help of a talented cast that features the always magnificent Setsuko Hara. One blot on the film is the overbearing and sometimes inappropriate use of Chuji Kinoshita's repetitive score, augmented by the overuse of Chopin's Fantaisie-Impromptu in C# minor, the one spoiled for many of us by its use as the melody for the popular song "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows."

Well, there's this guy named Hibiki who's addicted to sex and drugs and tried to OD and just got out of rehab. There's a girl named Chieko who wants to kill every girl who talks to her boyfriend, and a girl named Ribon who's going absolutely nuts right now. Hajime Hinata had untreated DID and you already know how fucked up Nagito is. (Don't think the first one went through. there was an error screen)
“Hm, those do seem like some cases that would benefit from treatment, yes. If you’d like to pass on my name to them, I’d be glad to see if they fit into my schedule and if I’d be a good match for them clinically speaking, and if not I can hopefully help them establish some good intermediary skills and direct them toward someone who might be better suited for their cases. Though I think I would be able to at least offer some suitable help in each case. I’ve spoken to Shiryo before, though it’s been a great while, I believe. I have contributed to research in areas of drug addiction and hypersexuality, but I believe many of his problems arise from a mixture of impulsivity and insecurity surrounding his value to the world and others. As for Ikeda, I think I spoke with her when I first returned as well. Though she didn’t particularly seem the type to harbor such violent fantasies, I’d be foolish to believe that looks couldn’t mask something like that. If they’re intrusive thoughts, they may be tied to OCD or some sort of anxiety disorder... any number of disorders, actually, but I at least know techniques for addressing them, even without a specific diagnosis. If they’re fantasies, though, it may be something to do with a sense of possessiveness and a drive for attention and love. I don’t think I’ve spoken to Ribon, and I’m not certain what ‘absolutely nuts’ means in this context, but I can certainly take a closer look at her case if she wishes to visit me. Hinata... I don’t think I’ve spoken to him recently, but DID can certainly be a tricky disorder to diagnose and navigate. Most cases go untreated for long periods of time and is difficult to address, so hearing of untreated DID isn’t necessarily a rarity. Perhaps addressing the trauma and working through it while helping him adapt to his particular alter or alters would be beneficial. And yes, I’m aware of Nagito’s case,” she says with a small smile. “He’s been through a great deal in his life, and he blames himself for nearly all of it. Unsurprisingly, he has extremely low self esteem because of this, and he’s used some fairly... fanatical coping mechanisms to attempt to deal with his distress. Still, I can’t say I haven’t seen him make progress in certain areas, and while he will certainly be a difficult, long-term case, I do prioritize him quite highly.”

Okay this is gonna be a longshot but I gotta ask. Do you know someone in Despair named Chieko Ikeda?
“I, uh... I’ve met Chieko, yeah, but she wasn’t in despair. She was just some highschool girl. Ultimate Collector or something, if I remember correctly. Why?”

Request for an execution for Chieko Ikeda, the Ultimate Collector.
Tumblr media
Thank you for the information, we’ve certainly enjoyed making this one!
It was so dark, the void of light made it difficult to see anything. Still, a massive room could be made out. Concrete walls could be seen around Chieko, with a roof of the same material overhead. Underneath her, was a bunch of junk. Dolls, plushies, figurines, etc. In the massive room, there were giant piles of them. And most of them certainly looked very familiar too. Aside from this, a door with a lock could be seen.
Then the walls shook, each of them slowly closing in. She had time before she was crushed certainly, but what was she expected to do?
In the distance, the girl noticed a shining gleam. On one of the piles, there looked to be a key. A red one with what seemed to have the shape of Monokuma’s eye. However, it was still very high up. The eyes on the dolls seemed to be staring right at her, watching her every movement.
The walls stopped for a moment, only to shake and speed up closing in faster.
Now with less time to work with, she tried to run up the pile of dolls. This still proved to be rather difficult, but as long as she reached the key...it would all be fine. So she kept climbing, climbing trying to desperately reach the top. However when she grabbed another doll, the key seemed to fall down the tower. The red eye gleamed as it tumbled down the mess of toys.
The walls paused once more, shaking even more violently and closing at an alarming place.
With no more time to waste, she raced down the hill. But a misstep was all it took to send her tumbling down. Still, she wasn’t injured badly. It took her a moment to get up, and she noticed that the pile of junk was now closing in as well. It was getting dragged closer together by the closing walls.
With no time left to spare, she ran. She picked up the key, and jammed it into the lock. With a turn, a clicking could be heard. However, upon opening it, another wall stood in her path. Similarly, made of concrete as well.
One last push from the walls was all it took for a mountain of figurines to fall onto of her. The weight of all the toys was heavy for sure, but it wasn’t enough to kill her. What was causing problems however, was the pressure coming from the dolls. The room was finally small enough to begin crushing everything together. There were poking of arms, and countless eyes staring at her.
Slowly, the dolls began to break. Sharp pieces of the plastic cutting into Chieko. Eyes popping out of their sockets in search for more space. And it wasn’t long until she felt the pain of her own body being crushed as well.

“Oh? The pretty pink princess?” Miu laughed, smiling all the while. “She’s a crafty little bitch, isn’t she? Ha! I think it’s hilarious, not gonna lie. The fact that she acts all cutesy and innocent, just to take what she wants a bolt, talk about bratty, but dedicated! I don’t mind making inventions and letting her test drive them, win-win situation, y’know? I need more chick friends, so someone catty and chill enough like her might fit the bill.”

The SHSL Survivors’ Society-second generation headcanons
As promised, here it is! Shizuka is included in this list too, but she is of course not my creation. All the other kids mentioned are though, but not all of them have information about them beyond name and date of birth, because there’s a lot of kids here and coming up with that much info is...tricky.
Anyway, enjoy!:
Survivors’
Chieko Akamine and Koutarou Ueda
Shizuka Akamine (surname later changes to Kita), DOB 3rd December 2010. Appears prominently over the course of the story as a six-year-old and has a POV in the final epilogue as a 16-year-old. Shizuka is the first of the second generation, and also has the distinction of being the only one who has a parent who died in the game as well, and because of that tends to feel a greater responsibility for remembering the events that happened and preserving those memories for future generations. She is shy as a small child, but mostly grows out of that over the course of her life-though she remains a quiet sort of person. She is kind, sweet and thoughtful, and adores animals to the point of becoming a vet in her adulthood (as well as helping out at the Towa City Memorial Garden).  She takes to calling her little sister ‘Mushi’ (bug) as an affectionate sort of nickname in the same sort of way Koutarou used to call Chieko ‘Moyashi’, and when she eventually has a child of her own, she names him Koutarou.
Chieko Akamine and Masashi Kita
Haruka Kita, DOB March 13th 2023. Definitely the more extrovert sibling of the two, Haruka is sunny-natured and a little bit of a tomboy, preferring to keep her hair shorter and avoid dresses where possible (much to the despair of her aunt Misa). Though there’s a slightly more parental aspect to their relationship owing to the age gap, Haruka is close to her big sister (even if she gets annoyed at the nickname).  She’s also particularly close to her cousin Hayate (see below) as they’re the same age separated by a few months. She becomes interested in gardening at a young age, and though for her it’s little more than a hobby/pastime, Haruka’s gardening helps Chieko to feel like she’s got that aspect of her life back in some respect and so though she doesn’t directly help out, the mother and daughter bond a lot over gardening.
Tyson De Guerre and Wakana Abe
Felix Shouta De Guerre, DOB May 26th 2025. As a child, Felix’s speech is delayed and he struggles in school, resulting in him becoming generally unconfident and shy. He looks up to Tyson a lot, and visiting and helping to maintain the Towa City Memorial Garden does boost his confidence, and as an adult he goes to live in Japan, becoming the main gardener/groundskeeper for the garden.
Oliver “Olly” Kanato De Guerre, DOB August 1st 2028. A dreamy, absent-minded sort of person, Olly is always getting into scrapes due to not paying attention to his surroundings or just losing track of time. But he’s so good natured and amiable that it’s really difficult for anyone to ever get angry with him.
Verity “Vivi” Suzune De Guerre, DOB January 14th, 2031. The adored youngest child, Vivi is basically a ray of sunshine in the way her mother was pre-game, though she tends to be more honest with her feelings. She’s pretty proud of her mixed-race ancestry, and always introduces herself by her full name.  Though she is musically and artistically adept, she doesn’t ever pursue either of these things beyond the hobby level.
Akira Kazama
Nanako Kazama (former surname Sawatori), DOB October 31st 2008, fostered January 2020, adopted end of that year. She is streetwise and hot-tempered, and doesn’t trust many people outside of her adoptive family, and the Survivors and their families.
Yuichi Kazama (former surname Ishi), DOB November 12th 2010, fostered April 2021, adopted March 2022. When he got fostered by Akira he ended up in the same elementary school as Tsubaki Higuchi, and as a result is fairly close friends with both her and Shizuka. He is a bit grouchy and puts on a tough-guy act a lot, but he looks up to Akira in a big way and follows in his footsteps to become a very popular Student Council President in his high school.
Kai Kazama (former surname Takamura), DOB April 5th, 2013, fostered June 2021, adopted same time as Yuichi. A sporty and determined person, Kai eventually becomes a skilled and successful baseball player with a huge fanbase.
  Siblings/Friends etc.
Kazuki Kita (Masashi’s older brother) and Orihime Nanto (Hokuto’s little sister)
(Note: yes, this means that Chieko’s, Masashi’s and Hokuto’s families are all related by marriage)
Daigo Kita, DOB October 9th 2020. Level-headed, sensible and a bit of an old soul, Daigo takes an interest in Café Tanabata from a young age and helps out there a lot even before he decides that he’ll take it over as an adult with the help of his little brother. Given to talking in riddles, especially when he’s annoyed or tired.
Hayate Kita, DOB October 9th 2023. A combination of being impulsive and forever salty about the fact his birthday falls on the same day as his older brother’s, Hayate is more often arguing with Daigo. Luckily, despite this they get on inexplicably well, which is a good thing considering they eventually take over Café Tanabata from their mother and aunt. He’s an extroverted joker type of person.
 Hikari Kita (Masashi’s younger sister)
Kyohei Matsushita, DOB October 12th 2019. Fairly calm, amiable boy who is rather introverted and can end up overwhelmed by his extended family, all of whom he loves dearly. Ends up in the same elementary and middle schools as Athena and Lexie Cain (see below), and the same high school as Lexie, and thus is friends with them.
 Benjamin ‘Ben’ Cain (Erica’s sister)
Athena Cain, DOB October 17th 2017. Cheerful and outgoing like her late aunt, but less intense and generally more thoughtful. Though she takes an interest in mythology due to her name, she isn’t actually all that interested in history (sure, her family’s past interests her, but she hasn’t got the history obsession her late aunt did). She becomes a storywriter and artist instead.
Alexandria ‘Lexie’ Cain, DOB February 21st 2019. A charismatic, attractive girl, Lexie is enigmatic and slightly manipulative but in spite of this (or possibly because of this) she is very popular. She can be a bit prissy sometimes as well, but would put her life on the line for anyone she actually cares about (which is a very few people). She has a crush on Kyohei in high school, but is far too stubborn to admit it because he’s not her usual ‘type’ and she knows too well that he only sees her as a friend.
 Yasu Kazama (Akira’s older sister)
Akiko ‘Kiko’ Shimada, DOB April 25th 2020. The eldest twin by nine minutes, Kiko is academic and driven, but despite this is compelled to become a voice actor like her late aunt. Though never as popular as Hibiki was, she does do quite well for herself, and after a while decides to become a coach for voice-actors.
Akemi ‘Emi’ Shimada, DOB April 25th 2020. Though identical to Kiko, Emi is quieter and struggles academically, and often feels like she is just a pale imitation of her sister and that she doesn’t fit in with her family, despite the fact they do clearly love and value her just as much.  She takes an interest in the Towa City Memorial Garden, and as an adult is one of the people in charge of the funds that help to maintain and organise it, as well as the employment of people who do the actual maintaining and organising.
Sadao Taneda and Ayame Edano (Noriko’s childhood friend and little sister, respectively)
Airi Taneda, DOB September 30th 2024. Born with albinism, Airi’s birth is what helps her mother and her aunt have a closer relationship, as Ayame often seeks advice from Noriko about how to help her. Unlike Noriko, Airi is never embarrassed by her white hair and indeed likes to learn elaborate hairstyles to show it off, something which eventually leads to her becoming a hairdresser.
Toshio Taneda, DOB June 14th 2026. Quiet, slightly socially awkward, and very intelligent, Toshio basically spends his whole life in education-from being a complete swot in school to pursuing an academic career relating to maths and physics.
Yuuji Taneda, DOB July 7th 2030. Between Airi’s outspokenness and Toshio’s nerdiness, Yuuji finds himself embarrassed by his elder siblings constantly, and tries to distance himself from them in public, but he does love them really, and if anyone else teases them he will be on them like a shot. Indeed, he gets into a lot of fights in school because of defending people from bullies.
 Hitoshi Edano (Noriko’s younger brother)
Isamu Edano, DOB December 9th 2026
Yura Edano, DOB May 24th 2029
 Chikako Ueno (Daisuke’s older sister)
Daisuke ‘Isuke’ Hiraoka (surname later changes to Ikeda with Chikako’s second marriage), DOB February 26th, 2024. Eccentric and slightly flamboyant, this Daisuke actually can play musical instruments, and eventually becomes a professional clarinet player. Isuke is also the classic slightly over-protective brother who scares his siblings’ boyfriends/girlfriends. Also, nobody knows where his nickname came from or why-nobody admits to giving it to him.
Souta Hiraoka (surname later changes to Ikeda with Chikako’s second marriage), DOB August 21st 2026
Rie Ikeda, DOB July 18th 2032
Yumi Ikeda, DOB January 31st 2035
 Shouta Kobayashi (Oshiro’s friend)
Hiroto Kobayashi, DOB May 1st, 2031
 Mio Fujioka (Oshiro’s friend)
Masahiro Fujioka, DOB April 18th, 2032. A devilish, charming prankster, Masahiro is the type of person who just sails through life. He looks for every opportunity to pull off a prank or some sort of joke, and the twin-switch one used to be one of his favourites as a kid-or rather, it was until he decided to pull it on their mother and she freaked out when she realised. Though he’s well aware of the Killing Game and the Despair cult and all that, and that she knew someone who had died there, he’s never probed too deeply into why she had this reaction, as he feels vaguely uncomfortable thinking about all this.
Takeo Fujioka, DOB April 18th, 2032. A little more calm and straight-laced, Takeo is nonetheless a very fun-loving guy who generally enjoys taking part in Masahiro’s pranks, but naturally refuses the twin-switch ones after the reaction their mother had. He takes more of an interest in the past than Masahiro, so he knows more about what lay behind their mother’s reaction, and as it happens, he does pursue becoming a historian as a career because of this.
Atsushi and Kanade Arata (Kimihiro’s parents)
Hisae Arata, DOB April 6th, 2018. Though very much unexpected and unplanned, she ends up being the thing that puts back together her parents’ marriage, which had been slowly disintegrating under the grief for the older brother she never knew. With a name written with the characters for ‘long time’ and ‘blessing’, her parents have heaped a lot of love on her and are very protective of her, meaning she grows up living a sheltered life. As a result, she is a very sweet, very shy and soft type of person who ends up heavily dependent on others to look after her.
 Tetsuya Yamaguchi (Kimihiro’s friend)
Taro Yamaguchi, DOB February 10th, 2025. He is slightly spoiled because he was the only child his parents were able to have, so sometimes he comes across a little entitled and haughty and coddled. But really, deep down, he’s a good guy, and does well in life. Not stunning or outstanding, but well. He also inherits his father’s whimsical approach to acquiring hobbies, and thus he tends to be interesting company in parties with all sorts of tricks and anecdotes to pull out.
 Ichiro Usami (Shiro’s brother)
Shiro Usami, DOB March 5th, 2022
Akane Usami, DOB April 26th, 2024
Midori Usami, DOB May 30th, 2027
Gin Usami, DOB June 17th 2030
 Yujiko Usami (Shiro’s sister)
Nanae Aikawa, DOB June 18th 2021
Namika Aikawa, DOB September 3rd 2023
Natsumi Aikawa, DOB January 14th 2030
 Zenzo Usami (Shiro’s brother)
Aiki Usami, DOB February 2nd 2023
 Goromi Usami (Shiro’s sister)
Kanon Tajima, DOB August 25th 2025
Kanade Tajima, DOB November 3rd 2030
Hotaru Mori (Hideki’s accquaintance)
Shiki Mori, DOB March 31st 2032. Reclusive as her mother, but probably a bit more practical and assertive, generally speaking.

Here's our second official character for Ultimate Waifu Bait: Chieko Ikeda herself! She’s an adorable, sweet, popular girl who has a lot of friends and admirers in the school because of how cute she is. She likes stuffed animals, baking, and eating sweets. She’s a girl who’s always friendly, bubbly, and full of energy—if not a little bit under average intelligence. Who wouldn’t love a perfect girl like her?

I'm always down to hear more about Chieko! I love her.
Of course! Absolutely!
I have way more plans for her than just playing her on Yandere Simulator, believe me.
I have plans for a web series that starts as a dating sim where you play as Kichiro trying to choose between all the pretty girls in his class (Chieko's Rivals). The outcome of the story is based on your choices and will have a ton of different endings. (Basically fixing the false advertising of Doki Doki Literature Club). You will be able to pursue each girl, but each girl will have her own story with its' own twists and turns for you to make important decisions with. And of course, true to life, Chieko and Kizana are the main characters behind all of it, who have the most important story-driving plots.
The characters there are as follows:
Kichiro Sakamoto - the sporty, kind, himbo protagonist
Chieko Ikeda - the cutesy little yanderedere herself
Kizana Shinoru - the popular and charismatic class representative
Mayumi Ichido - the bitchy plain girl

Mitsuko Yoshikawa in A Mother Should Be Loved (Yasujiro Ozu, 1934)
Cast: Mitsuko Yoshikawa, Den Ohinata, Koji Mitsui, Seiichi Kato, Shusei Nomura, Shinyo Nara, Chishu Ryu, Yumeko Aizome, Shinobu Aoki, Choko Iida. Screenplay: Kogo Noda, Tadao Ikeda, Masao Arata, Yasujiro Ozu. Cinematography: Isamu Aoki.
Ordinarily, I would regard watching a silent movie about mother love as a chore, not a pleasure. Especially if the movie is missing its first and last reels and doesn't have a music soundtrack to sweeten it. But A Mother Should Be Loved is an exception, mostly because it's directed by Yasujiro Ozu, who can be trusted not to slip into mawkishness and also to provide visuals that compensate for what's lacking in audibles. The story is emotionally complex: After the death of their father -- a role, played by Yukichi Iwata, that was lost with the movie's first reel -- Sadao (Seiichi Kato) and Kosaku (Shusei Nomura) are raised by Chieko (Mitsuko Yoshikawa). But when Sadao comes of age (now played by Den Ohinata) and applies to the university, he sees his birth certificate and realizes that Chieko is not really his mother -- he's the son of his father's first wife. He's upset at the deception but is quickly assured by Chieko that she loves him equally with Kosaku (now played by Koji Mitsui) and has tried to raise him as her own son. Eventually, however, Sadao suspects Chieko of overcompensating: treating him more generously than Kosaku. They argue, and when Kosaku learns that Sadao has upset their mother, he strikes him. Unwilling to fight back, Sadao leaves home and takes up residence in a brothel. When Chieko comes to plead with him to return home, Sadao refuses at first, but a maid in the brothel overhears their conversation and tells him her own story, which moves him so much that he relents. The reconciliation scene has been lost with the last reel, but is narratively inessential -- if the loss of any of Ozu's work can be deemed inessential. The delicacy of the performances and the lovely framing of each scene in the film overcome sentimentality. Ozu also slips in one of his allusions to other movies by decorating the brothel with a poster of Joan Crawford as Sadie Thompson in Rain (Lewis Milestone, 1932).

Note
what are your opinions on the people you've met so far?
““Oh, I’m intrigued by all of them! Though it will take some adjusting to get used to there being multiple versions of the same person, I’m not used to that sort of thing. But do you want individual opinions of everyone? Let me see...”
“Ah, the first people I talked to were Haru and Kibo! They both seem interesting, though I still have so much I haven’t gotten a chance to learn about from them yet, so I hope I’ll learn it soon! Haru specifically gives me a strange feeling, quite honestly-- he’s very friendly, but he knows too much and he’s hiding things. Though he’d a private eye, so that’s his job. I know too much, too, after all! Kibo on the other hand seems like a perfectly normal guy. Technically he’s my senpai, but my instinct is to treat him like a younger brother.”
“Then I spoke to... Nagito! The first one, ah, the one who almost cried. He has a lot of things to sort through, and it looks like he doesn’t get a good night’s sleep pretty much ever. It’ll be hard to convince him to actually take care of himself for the sake of taking care of himself, but at the very least I know what makes him tick and I can go from there.”
“Then it was Hajime Hinata! Not the one who I talked to about sex. He seems like a nice person, pretty laid back, at least much more well adjusted and normal than most of the people I’ve met here.”
“Then it was Chieko, Chieko Ikeda. She’ll be a tricky one, but I’m very interested in her. She has quite a few secrets, and she’s very cute. I think we have a lot in common. I can tell she doesn’t like me yet, but I’ll get there. She needs people to stroke her ego and make her feel desirable, which she is, of course, so I shouldn’t have a problem with that.”
“Hiyoko Saonji, Ultimate Traditional Dancer-- she seemed very uninterested in me, which is a shame. I could have helped her a lot.”
“Then it was Maejiru, whose talent I still don’t understand, but I’m starting to get an idea of them, and they seem pretty receptive to my help, so hopefully she’ll be sleeping better by the end of the week.”
“Then it was sex Hajime-- what a tsundere! He got really overwhelmed really quickly. Maybe he’s not interested in being my client, since he has a therapist-- though I guarantee I’m better-- but I would like to be his friend.”
“Then it was Nagito that shook a lot. I don’t even know where to start with him, but my assessment is much the same-- needs better sleep, I’ll have to trick him into caring about himself, but with the added mystery of a disease that he didn’t want to tell me about. I’m curious... but he’ll be an interesting client, too. And hopefully a friend.”
“Then it was Tori, the Ultimate Cosplayer! He needs a serious self esteem boost, and I doubt he’ll listen to my advice about his sleep schedule when the time comes... those cosplayers are stubborn. But he seems friendly enough.”
“Then Junko Enoshima, Ultimate Hope. That one threw me for a loop. Well, I’ll try not to be biased, she seems like a kind person, but she tried really hard. Probably because everyone thinks she’s going to murder them.”
“Then Rantaro, Ultimate Adventurer! But he didn’t seem interested in me, which is a shame. I need some loners on my roster, I can’t just have people with laundry lists of trauma.”
“Then Kokichi Ouma, Ultimate Supreme Leader. It was easy to figure him out, which was somewhat boring, but I could do him some good once I know which ending we’ll get. I think I know, but I’m really excited to see for sure. He has a lot of trauma and not much will to talk about it, though, so it’ll be like shooting in the dark for a bit.”
“Then Dr. Kuruo! Oh, I’m very interested in him. Very very interested! It’s not very often that people read me like that, I’m curious to see what his assessment of me is. And I know so much about him already, he’s a very clever person but I think I’m cleverer. Still, there’s so much I don’t know, and I’m just starting to peel things back bit by bit. Oh, he’ll be so much fun!”
“Then it was Jay! He’s a very closed off kid-- well, he’s older than me, I guess, but that’s not the point. I like that he’s a challenge, he interests me quite a bit, and I have to walk a very careful line with him. Yeah, I want to help him. He deserves it. Well, everyone does, but him especially, I think.”
“Then it was Judas! An Impersonator... he’s like a member of X-men to have a vocal range like that. But that’s not the important thing. He’s a bit more difficult, but I like that he’s honest, though he makes you work to get the full picture. Seems nice, though, so I can’t complain.”
“That should be everyone I met so far, yeah?”
