Note
I'm so nostalgic for Blue's Clues, and I LOVED the Blue's Big Musical Movie! It makes me wish Nickelodeon did something like that for all their other preschool shows [including the more obscure ones like Pinwheel, Gullah Gullah Island, Eureeka's Castle, Jack's Big Music Show, ETC].
That would've been cool!
I still remember getting Blue's Big Musical Movie on VHS for Christmas in 2000. We even had the soundtrack on audiocassette and my mom admitted to listening to it when she was in the car alone (and listening to it again, I can see why- it's a REALLY good soundtrack. Doesn't matter if it's aimed at preschoolers; if music is good, music is good).

Rules: Tell 20 facts about yourself and tag 20 people.
Tumblr media
Tagged by: @wetheresilientfew .
Nickname: Ephiny.
Biggest Pet Peeve: People who refuse to take personal accountability for their actions. Everything is everyone else’s fault but their own.
Zodiac: Cancer.
Height: 5′ 9.5″.
Last movie I watched: Dark Passages.
Last thing I googled: Spaceballs beaming scene. (My mother posted a meme on my FB, so I wanted to add a video of that scene in my comment.)
Favorite Musicians: Too many to list them all, but I’ll list the first five that come to mind: Andrew Stein/MandoPony, Nathan Sharp/Natewantstobattle, Maroon 5, The Struts, and Halestorm.
Song stuck in my your head: "Put it on the List”, it’s a song from the Christmas special of Eureeka’s Castle.
Other blogs: The side blogs on here are my Maid Marian account ( @ladyxofxsherwood ); Marion Ravenwood from Indiana Jones ( @youxknowxaxdrink ); my Marvel OC Jackie Bennett ( @imxthexfinder ); my Comic Drake fan blog ( @comicdrakefans ); my personal blog ( @nageill ); and my blog with @danny-the-shade-blog for our Avengers DnD campaign ( @talesoftheprotectorate ).
Do you get asks: Sometimes.
Amount of sleep: I try for four (4) hours a night, because anything less I get headaches.
Lucky number(s): I don’t really have one.
What are you wearing?: My archers shirt (it has Hawkeye, Green Arrow, and Daryl Dixon) and blue gym shorts.
Dream job: A professional writer.
Dream trip: England, Ireland, Scotland, Japan, and Australia.
Favorite food: Pizza, risotto, and cheesecake.
Instruments you play: I remember some of the clarinet.
Languages you speak: English; some German and Spanish; minor French, Japanese, and Russian.
Favorite songs: Like with the musicians question, there are too many to list, so again just going with the first five I think of: “High Hopes” by Panic at the Disco; “Phantom” by Natewantstobattle; “The Greatest Show” from The Greatest Showman; “Mr. Blue Sky” covered by MandoPony; “Happier” by Bastille.
Describe yourself with aesthetic stuff: Half-filled coffee mugs, stacks of fantasy novels, puppy kisses, smell of fresh bread baking and hot pasta, a breeze on a mildly cloudy day.

ever since YMS did a childhood trauma video I’ve been watching a whole bunch of videos others have done and I decided to do my own but I’m not about to make a youtube channel so here’s ten things that terrified me as a kid in no particular order
1. The Pool Scene from Alligator- I had not seen Jaws yet so this was the first time I ever saw a kid get killed in a movie and it’s much worse than what happens in Jaws
2. The Astronauts from E.T. - This is the scene that made me not watch ET for twelve years and a big reason why I never liked the movie
3. The Hospital Vampire from Are You Afraid of the Dark- This was a hard choice between this and the Pool Monster but this guy scared me more
4. This Dinosaur Documentary- I rented this from the library as a kid and to this day I have NO idea what the name was. It was boring as hell but at the end things go full Jurassic Park and the two hosts get eaten by a trex
5. Muppet Christmas Carol- Yeah Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come scared me like it did everyone but you know what got me first? The screaming doorknob
6. Monstro’s First Appearance from Pinocchio- nothing else in this movie scared me but that whole scene of slowing showing Monstro freaked little me out
7. Return To Oz- Oh look my Mom said, Wizard of Oz has a sequel. This should be fun to show the kids. I can’t name a single one thing that scared me so I’ll just put the whole movie
8. Halloween Episode of Eureeka’s Castle- remember this show? I only remember that Halloween episode that caught me off guard and presented me with that...THING that enters the castle
9. The Banshee from Darby O’Gill and The Little People- I remember nothing of this movie except for that
10. Invasion of the Body Snatchers 1978- Just because it’s pg doesn’t mean you should show your kids it. The whole idea of pods eliminating you and making a duplicate terrified me
