For just $45.00 The commitment to travel to this location was needed to make it there. The road to McCarthy is primitive and long, it eats tires daily. One must crawl at 5 miles an hour or less, it takes all day. Once there however witness the 14-story Kennicott Concentration Mill (to the right), the mines are 5 miles up in the mountains to the east/northeast. Also pictured - foreground (left to right): power plant, machine shop, flotation plant, ammonia leaching plant (world's first); in the trees to the right - general manager's office (log cabin portion was first building built in Kennicott) This item is your choice of 8x10 in an 11x14 double mat, or an 11x14 print in a 16x20 double matted enclosure, ready for framing. For just $39.00 I've dreamed of creating beautiful things and sharing them with others ever since I was a young boy. Early on that was manifested with drawing and pottery. When things did not make sense or my parents were on the warpath I would retreat into my room to draw or take things apart to see how they work/ Or go outside and search for wonderful critters, Texas was a great place for that! Somehow watches became really important to me. My Grandad had one I remember being simple white and gold, and it lasted decades. He gave it to me before he passed and maybe this is where my watch fascination began. I love kinetic, or solar watches and any old pocket watches. It blows my mind how a craftsman can work so small! So here is my ode to watches, I find old ones and make some new adornment for you. Again and again, I return to a bench to create something new and somehow it helps me recover from all else. It's so exciting, in a simple way, and feels some perfect, so complete. First of all, this is not a functional watch, it is for adornment only. This auction is for a one of a kind Pocket Watch originally made by Majestic Watch Company. There are 15 Jewels and it has been adorned with two very glittery Swarovski Crystals. It is adorable and I have placed it on a 18" chain. I promise when you wear it heads will turn. Grid is one half inch per square and this pendant is 7/8' of an inch wide. This pendant is not meant to be perfect and polished but a little worn as it is a vintage object. Polishing only makes the metal look uneven and not uniform. This mix of metals and gears with a bit of bling from the crystal is simply mesmerizing. Can you wear this? Item will be shipped Priority Mail with tracking in it's own padded gift box.

For just $45.00 People come from all over the world to visit Arches National Park, and visiting Delicate Arch is on the top of many visitors' to-do lists. In a park with over 2,000 stone arches, this particular free-standing arch has become a widely recognized symbol of the state of Utah and one of the most famous geologic features in the world. The light opening beneath the arch is 64 feet high and 45 feet wide, making it the largest free-standing arch in the park. It has had more than a few names in its history, from the colorful ("Cowboy's Chaps", "Old Maid's Bloomers") to the prosaic ("Salt Wash Arch"). The term "Delicate" first appeared in a January 1934 article about the Arches National Monument Scientific Expedition, which described it as "the most delicately chiseled arch in the entire area." Delicate Arch is a National Historic Landmark. This item is your choice of 8x10 in an 11x14 double mat, or an 11x14 print in a 16x20 double matted enclosure, ready for framing.
