Imagine you and Cleo clothes shopping for Deuce

Walking along the length of the rack, your fingers brushed through the shirts as you tried to find one that caught your eye. When one seemed promising, you pulled it out slightly, trying to get a better look at the design. Most of the shirts ended up put back on the rack as you shook your head in disapproval once you saw the whole thing. With a sigh, you moved onto a new rack and started the cycle of rejection once more.

“Oh?” You mused aloud, pulling out a rich green Furberry cotton shirt. Giving it a once over, you took note of the small embroidered emblem at the center of the shirt. Approving at the design, you raised a hand to the sleeve and felt the fabric, admiring the soft texture underneath your fingertips. “It’s nice.” One approval down.

“Cleo! Deuce!” Taking the shirt and grabbing another two in the same style but a different color, you walked to the end of the row as you looked for your partners through the store.

Spotting a hand waving in the air, you smiled as you heard Deuce call out to you. “We’re over here, babe.”

Walking over to the waving hand, you spotted your boyfriend’s green snake-hawk first before the sound of Cleo’s golden bangles clinking together reached your ear. The two were in the pants section of the store, Cleo bent down slightly as she glanced over the pants while Deuce stood beside her, his arms full of clothes.

When you reached your partners, you held up the shirts you found for the two to see. “Cleo, look at these shirts I found.”

Straightening up, Cleo’s eyes move away from the pants and over to you. “Oh my Ra,” A smile breaks out on her face as she makes her way to you. She takes the green shirt from your hand to get a closer look, nodding as she approves of the front before turning over to look at the back. “This shirt is absolutely fangtastic! And I found the perfect pants to go with it!”

She motions for Deuce to come closer and looks through the pile of clothes in his grasps before pulling out the one she was looking for. “Put those clothes down for a bit, Deuce-y.” The gorgon does as he’s told, dropping the pile onto the table beside him. Giving the shirt and pants to Deuce, she says, “Hold them against yourself. We need to see how they look like on you.”

Standing beside Cleo, the two of you take a few steps back as Deuce holds up the shirt and pants to his body. ”It looks so creeperific together!” Cleo says, giving both of your boyfriend a once-over.

“If we rolled up the sleeves up to his elbow, it would look even better.”

Cleo’s eyes brighten at your suggestion, pressing a kiss to your cheek. “Spooktacular taste!” Moving over to Deuce, she does the same to him before taking your hand and beginning to lead the way. “Come on, Deuce. We have to get you to the dressing room so you could try the clothes out. Maybe we can find some shoes to tie the outfit together,” She muses, tapping a finger to her chin.

personally, the whole thing with draculaura not being able to see her reflection becomes a bit of a comedic gag because of the theory that the reason vampires couldn't see themselves in mirrors was because of the silver in them.

i like to think that headmistress bloodgood is fully aware of this and although she could easily buy aluminum mirrors for her vampire students, she prefers to do a lil trolling.

Okay if Frankie is a punk music enjoyer I wonder if everyone knows or they have the odd person not know and is a little shocked when Frankie enjoys hardcore music.

Cleo sees Frankie with headphones and she asks what they’re listening to, expecting something like maybe more todays music or classical, or whatever.

Frankie puts their headphones to her ear and Cleo is just smacked in the face with heavy punk music.

Author's note: I decided to write for just the five main ghouls this time around, but if you guys would like another version of this with more characters just lemme know <3 also just a friendly reminder that I use they/them pronouns when referring to Frankie

Frankie Stein

Is very excited about it, possibly even more excited than you are

They want to know everything there is to know about them

Their names, nicknames, family members, pets, clothing style, hobbies, etc.

You might even hear them having conversations with some of them if they think you aren't nearby

Has probably tried to bring some of them to life before with disastrous results (disastrous meaning your dolls ended up getting fried </3)

They made it up to you by buying you some more and replacing them without telling you, hoping you wouldn't notice some of them went missing. You did but decided not to mention it as you knew it was an accident the previous ones got destroyed

Draculaura

Not nearly as excited as Frankie is, but she's still pretty hyped up

You can practically see the hearts in her eyes the first time you show her your collection

She also wants to hear all about them and thinks it's so cool how much information you know off the top of your head

Tries to come up with different voices for all of them but they all sound the exact same because of her accent lol

Buys you cute little accessories for them, especially things that are pink and black or are heart shaped

Clawdeen Wolf

Has the most neutral reaction out of all of them

She obviously supports you and your hobby but I don't really see her making that big of a deal about it

She's probably made tiny clothes for them before, ngl

Like, she will use your dolls as full on fashion models and everything if you let her

Your extra doll clothes have at least doubled in amount because she has this habit of making new clothes for them whenever she gets bored

You end up putting on fashion shows for each of them everytime they get a new wardrobe

Cleo De Nile

Doesn't really care, unless your collecting gets in the way of more important things (more important things being giving her attention)

If this happens prepare to have her full on glare at them whenever she comes over

You tried to show her your collection once but halfway through she got bored and started taking photos of herself on her iCoffin much to your displeasure

She ended up apologizing for it the next day by getting you an ultra rare one you didn't have yet because either a) you couldn't find it anywhere or b) you couldn't afford the damn thing

Pouts whenever you focus too much on your dolls instead of her, so you usually talk about them to Frankie or Draculaura instead

Lagoona Blue

So chill about it honestly, she thinks it's great that you have a hobby you enjoy

Thinks the different accessories and everything are really cute

Also there's probably at least one doll that she just hates for no reason

Like, she doesn't just hate them. She despises them and you have no idea why

So much so that you have to put them away somewhere whenever she comes over because she will basically ignore you the entire time and just sit there calling them names

When you ask her about it she just sorta shrugs and says, "I don't know, they kinda look like a cunt to me"

tends to get much more territorial over you during a full moon — which usually leads to her not leaving your side and snapping at anyone who gets too close

After much observation, I have brought together a couple with much potential. He is a werewolf and captain of the Monster High football team, and she is a mummy and the captain of the Fear Squad. Much to my delight, my arrows both flew true and struck the intended targets at the perfect moment. I foresee them being together for a long time, and I can’t imagine anything but good coming from this match.

On September 20, she thought she might have made a mistake, But she didn't understand what was wrong

I am beginning to think that maybe I acted a bit hastily in pairing Clawd Wolf and Cleo de Nile. I had not counted on Cleo loving herself as much as she does or Clawd’s love for the game he plays. This is becoming very confusing. My arrows are supposed to be foolproof, but even though they are still together and appear as happy to every other monster, I know they are not. Cleo is also beginning to have affections for a Gorgon boy named Deuce. I suppose I could ask my father what to do, but I want to work this out on my own. I can’t be flying home every time I have a problem I don’t think I can solve.

On November 1st everything came together in a confusing way...for Cupid

Clawd broke up with Cleo today, although he let her tell every monster that she dumped him. Now Cleo’s dating Deuce, Clawd’s sister Clawdeen believes her brother has been “done wrong” and is very angry at Cleo, and I find this all very confusing and well… confusing. I almost shot Clawd and Cleo again but then thought better of it. Maybe just randomly picking out two monsters that seem compatible isn’t the best way to go about this. I have somehow made a mess out of something that should have been so easy. I guess this is what my father meant by “gaining experience”. Oh, and Headmistress Bloodgood wants to see me tomorrow. I can’t wait to have that conversation

I love how Cupid arrowed Clawd and Cleo, being absolutely sure that they would be prefects together just by being captains and popular, only to see that they don't "click". It's also cute how Cleo fell for Deuce even when she was under the effect of Cupid's arrow

It's also hilarious that even today a large part of the fandom really believes that it was Cleo who break up with Clawd and not the other way around
