In the galidraan au, omega is a clone of arla fett. I don’t know if it will come up at all or have any plot relevance, but it does shape my worldbuilding just a bit.

an incredibly pedantic pet peeve i have is it irks me when people have clone medics named 'bones', because thee bones of star trek's nickname is a reference to 'sawbones' as slang for a surgeon, & that comes from how sometimes surgeons need to saw through bones, and i just don't think they do that in star wars. like i think the gruesome slang terms for medical professionals wld refer to smth else. obvs surgeons wld still need to sometimes cut thru bone, but lasers are pretty ubiquitous and less like viscerally gruesome. what IS visceral n horrifying abt star wars medical practices? i think it's med droids actually

Coolest moment of my vet journey so far is definitely the dead cat from whom I had to take tissue samples so that they can send him over to get cloned.

#i have never done that before #and honestly speaking i don't think the samples got any viable tissue sinxe it was taken a whole 7 hours after the cat passed #and also the container from the cloning facility never got through customs and so it was placed in an emergency container of sorts #so tissue viability is most likely very poor #but I would love to know if it worked out well
