🇦🇷 A Argentinian Historial Sim Download A few weeks ago my historical tumblr with things related from my country took a lot of relevance, thanks to many resources I realized that there are many people who are interested in having several argentinian sims in their game, so this is for them and everyone interested in the history of different countries (or who need some sim for their game lol).

These sims are originally from my Women's Day post inspired by female historical figures from different decades in Argentina. They are doctors, lawyers, writers and much more. But there is a bonus included which is two new sims = Corina Kavannagh and Lola Mora.

Corina Kavanagh. 1890-1984.

Corina Kavanagh was an Argentinian rancher known for the Kavanagh Building , the tallest concrete skyscraper in Argentina and South America at the beginning of the last century. This building has a legend that says it was built because Corina fell in love with a man of the Anchorena family, one of the most illustrious surnames in Argentina. The Anchorena's were an aristocratic and landowning dynasty with a Basilica which they could see from their mansion. Corina had a wealthy family but they looked down on her as a "nouveau riche" with no lineage, so the Anchorenas prohibited her from having a relationship with one of their members. Corina bought the land between the basilica and the mansion and built 120 meters of concrete so that they could not see the church. Since 1936, the only way for the Anchorena family to visit their Basilica was through the Corina Kavanagh passage.

(Lola) Dolores Candelaria Mora. 1866-1936.

The most flattered and discussed Argentine sculptor of her time, the artist who scandalized the society of her time, died in poverty and was vindicated by time. She began studying portrait and drawing in Tucumán and then obtained a scholarship in 1896 to perfect herself in Rome where she changed drawing for sculpture. There she was highly praised and in 1900 the artist decided to return to the country, where she obtained several state commissions, including the Fountain of the Nereids in 1903. She also faced controversy due to the nudity of her figures, and in her workshop it was common to find her working with pants on the structures of the sculptures.

Reforming My Regretful Husband - By Leeritae (5/10)

An extremely awkward, overpowered yandere. They aren't for everyone, but there is plenty of blood and drama in this reincarnation story. It is too stereotypical though. Neither of the main leads are relatable, and the art quality drops fast.

Corina is a pretty orphan protagonist with magical powers. One night she ends up in bed with a handsome Duke, who immediately becomes obsessed with her. He uses her possible pregnancy as an excuse to kidnap her, and declare her his fiance. Ertein Belcita is an incomprehensible man with way too much power. He often leaves his orphan wife alone, with his vengeful relatives. They obviously do not want their beloved genius war weapon to taint his perfect bloodline with...orphan genes. Corina is relentlessly bullied by everyone when Ertein isn't present. Eventually she has a miscarriage and she leaves him for the master of the magic tower, which makes sense because they are both passionate about magic.

Our actual main character is an unbearable fangirl who loves yandere red flags. She resents Corina for choosing a man she actually likes, and she wishes Corina toughed it out. Poor Ertein Belcita. He really did love Corina. He just wasn't what she needed or wanted...and that's totally Corina's fault...for some reason. Annoying fangirl gets the opportunity to become Corina, and she takes it.

She feels so bad for Ertein Belcita. He begged for love. He wanted Corina and nobody else, but he didn’t get rid of the literal pack of anti-orphan bullies in the house for some reason. Ertein Belcita qualifies as an idiot yandere in my opinion. He didn’t bother to romance the pregnant orphan he fell for. He just dumped her in his castle, put a ring on her finger, and he went back to work the next day. Totally oblivious to the fact that he lives in a bubble where he can do whatever he wants. Regular people don't have that bubble. Corina suffered horribly in his home, and his sweet love made it worse...but nope Fangirl is going to make their marriage work.

She genuinely hates Corina for choosing another man without psycho bully relatives. It's crazy. I could not believe my eyes. Fangirl loved watching Ertein Belcita get jealous. Like, crazy jealous. She never expected his crazy and childish jealousy to turn off the female lead. No. She was shocked when this story ended in divorce.

Nobody has a brain here...

The story begins again AFTER Ertein Belcita is already yandere for Corina. So Fangirl doesn't even have to try to earn his love. How convenient.

She is also most likely pregnant from DAY ONE as soon is she reincarnates into the story. This is so gross to me. I had the ick for entire chapters. I was frowning the whole time, but it keeps getting worse. This is fine as a train wreak, but I can't believe that I'm supposed to take this story seriously.

He shows up to take her away from her shack, where she lives in squalor. Poor Corina! She was poor and loan sharks harassed her daily because she's soooo pretttyyyyy.

In the original story Ertein Belcita was too busy being coddled to notice that his best friend Rebecca wanted to marry him for power. She was the leader of the bullies. Corina didn't speak up in the original story because....duh...

She's a penniless orphan with a rich man's child in her belly. Original Corina didn't want to end up on the street. She never dared to speak ill of Ertein Belcita's childhood friend, or his rude family.

Fangirl is different.

She's brutal, and willing to use Ertein Belcita. I'm not saying it's not entertaining. It's great, but Ertein Belcita and Fangirl are not fun characters. Ertein Belcita is a yandere with no filter. When Corina gets insulted he makes the perpetrator throw up blood with his magic. That's cool. Too bad the tone constantly shifts between "complete joke" and "yandere gore".

Fangirl isn't embarrassed by things like pregnancy tests and bullies, because she does want to be with Ertein Belcita...unlike the original Corina.

She's a total snake. Her story will end well. She'll have money, power, and worship from her favorite character. She'll get validation for being cruel, because everyone else is worse.

Stories like these actively make readers dumber, so proceed with caution. Treat this like junk food.

Climate law experts are already calling it one of the most impactful rulings on human rights and climate change ever made. Today’s judgment, from the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), was read out in front of an eclectic gathering of concerned plaintiffs from around the continent.

A group of older women from Switzerland, young people from Portugal, and a former French mayor—all had brought cases to the court alleging that their governments were not doing enough to battle the climate crisis now regularly ravaging Europe with heat waves, droughts, and other extreme weather.

While the ECHR, based in Strasbourg, France, chose not to admit two of the cases in question, it ruled that the Swiss women were right—their government had failed to do enough to meet the country’s responsibilities over climate change. What’s more, the women plaintiffs had also been denied their right to a fair trial in their country, the court found.

“It’s really a landmark judgement that was issued today, and it’s going to shape how all future climate change judgements are decided,” says human rights law researcher Corina Heri from the University of Zurich, who was present to hear the court’s decision for herself. “I was really relieved and very happy,” she adds, describing the moment when she heard the results of the judges’ deliberations.

Climate activist Greta Thunberg, who also attended the ruling, told reporters afterward that the world could expect more climate-change-related litigation.

The ECHR judges ruled 16 to 1 that the Swiss women—known as the KlimaSeniorinnen, or Senior Women for Climate Protection—had been subject to a violation of their human rights under the terms of the European Convention on Human Rights. The women had argued, for instance, that they were particularly vulnerable to the effects of heat waves.

Essentially, the ECHR has said it deems the Swiss government’s efforts on climate change mitigation to be insufficient. In the immediate aftermath of the ruling, Swiss president Viola Amherd told reporters that she would have to read the court’s judgement before commenting in detail.

“What Switzerland failed to do in the eyes of the court is, firstly, they don’t have a sufficient regulatory framework [for tackling climate change],” says Catherine Higham at the London School of Economics, who coordinates the Climate Change Laws of the World project. “They also felt there was evidence that Switzerland had inadequate 2020 targets and it failed to comply with those.” By 2020, the country had aimed to cut emissions by 20 percent from 1990 levels—however, emissions fell by only 14 percent.

The case brought by a former French mayor who said his town was at risk from rising sea levels was not admitted by the court because the man no longer lives in France. And the case by six Portuguese young people, penned in response to devastating wildfires in 2017, was also not admitted—partly because the plaintiffs did not bring their case in their own country before approaching the ECHR.

Despite this, the positive ruling for the KlimaSeniorinnen is being touted as hugely significant by legal experts. In this case, the court did not accept complaints from individuals within the group, but it did accept complaints made by the group itself as an organization—a distinction that could influence how people collectivize and approach European courts with similar cases in the future, says Heri.

She adds that there was a possibility the court could have ruled that the European Convention on Human Rights doesn’t actually require climate action. Had that happened, it could have undermined existing rulings made in European domestic courts that have demanded tougher climate policies from governments. For example, the Brussels Court of Appeal ruled last year that Belgium must cut its emissions by 55 percent from 1990 levels by 2030.

Today’s judgement comes following years of climate-change-related litigation gathering pace in courts around the world. In the US in 2023, for example, a judge ruled that the state of Montana was violating the right of 16 young people to a “clean and healthful environment.”

Higham says the ECHR’s ruling is “likely to have ramifications around the world.” She notes that, globally, there are around 100 similar cases in progress at various courts, also challenging governments over their climate change mitigation efforts. Heri agrees, noting that the ECHR is viewed globally as a highly influential international court.

Jorge Viñuales at the University of Cambridge, who specializes in law and environmental policy, says it is notable that Switzerland has been found to have fallen foul of human rights legislation, despite the fact that the country has relatively good climate policies. He criticizes the ECHR’s decision not to admit the case brought by the Portuguese young people, however. Part of the court’s reasoning was that their case was targeted not just at Portugal but every EU member state and five other countries. “The court seems to misunderstand that the climate system is everywhere and that effective control over the source of harm is what should count,” says Viñuales.

A big question around climate-change-related legal cases is over their impact—do they actually have enough clout to steer countries and large corporations toward reducing emissions faster than planned? Higham says there is evidence that this is already happening. In the Netherlands, the country’s Supreme Court ordered the government to slash emissions by 15 megatonnes in 2020, and a sharp drop in emissions followed. “We do see policy changes in the Netherlands that seem to be influenced by that judgement,” says Higham.

The ECHR ruling could also reignite cases that have struggled in some nations under the ECHR’s jurisdiction, such as the UK. This is “immensely significant,” says Tim Crosland, director of Plan B, a legal group that challenged the UK government over its climate policies but ultimately lost the case in 2021. “The High Court said, ‘Your fundamental problem is there is no precedent from Strasbourg to support your position that fundamental rights have been violated,’” says Crosland. “Well, now there is.”

Defendants in future cases may feel that their country’s own emissions are only a fraction of those responsible for climate change, and that therefore it is unfair to single one state out over many others. However, the ECHR ruling does not exaggerate nations’ individual duties, says Crosland. Each state has a share of the world’s carbon budget for keeping global warming to, for example, less than 1.5 degrees Celsius.

“Obviously, Switzerland isn’t responsible for emissions from the US or from China, but it’s responsible for its own emissions—and that’s what the judgement says,” he explains.

Through Love And By Love (Pt. 13)

Summary: Twenty-Two years ago, Draco Malfoy used the imperius curse to slow Voldemort’s rise to power. No good deed goes unpunished. Warning: this series contains mature subject matter surrounding use of the imperius curse, discussions of trauma and mental illness; reader discretion advised.

Part 12

Summer passes, Rosanna and Draco spend a fair bit of it building a defense strategy.

Scorpius, for his part, pretends he is none the wiser. That things will right themselves and the truth will set them free. But he knows better, this is bad. Debatably the worst it’s ever been.

“If you ask me, the most mishandled aspect of the wizarding war, will always be Rosanna McVay’s tragic entanglement to the Malfoy family.” The reporter’s voice booms over the radio.

Of all the things Scorpius considers his mother to be, tragically entangled is not one of them.

“Oi, give it a rest.” The cohost retorts.

“That girl was bred like cattle, she lost her entire life to that family. She fell in love with a monster and Draco Malfoy fell in love with the prettiest thing he’d ever seen. He enjoys her the way a child does a toy.”

And of all the things Scorpius considers his father to be, a monster is not one of them. If these people ever met his parents, this entire debate would be null and void.

“And that is where we disagree. Draco Malfoy sold his soul to the devil, to save Rosanna McVay; and it’s people like you that’ve forced the reopening of this case, after over twenty years!”

“Pish, posh, the trial was rushed and we all know it. The imperious charm is listed as an unforgivable curse for a reason. The minister for magic, at present, recognizes that in a way that Kingsley Shacklebolt failed to.”

“Hermione Granger-Weasley would not open this can of worms of her own accord, but given the recent outcry, her hands are tied.”

This Scorpius knows to be true, Hermione is family, Hermione would never.

“Scorpius.” Another voice calls, not from the radio. This time addressing him directly.

“Mum, I was just-” bollocks, he’s been caught.

Rosanna smiles, kindly. “Finish getting ready for the train, it’s almost time to go.”

“Why are we leaving so early?” The train back to school doesn’t leave for hours.

“We’re driving down this year.”

“Driving?” They’ve always taken the floo.

“Photographers from the paper expect us to come through the floo network. This way will be better, less hectic.” Rosanna explains. “Plus, we have a chance for car karaoke.”

“Right,” Scorpius chokes out. Waiting until the door closes behind his mother to begin packing.

Rosanna’s cat, Lovey, sneaks out from beneath the bed. Perhaps she is now keeping watch, that or she is hiding from Draco. His father and his mother’s cat have always had a rather tumultuous relationship.

Eventually Scorpius trudges downstairs with his trunk and owl in tow. Her namesake is driven largely by the fact that she didn’t like to be kept in her cage, for any amount of time. She’d squawk terribly before she was trained.

“Oh, Lottie.” His father sighs.

“Lottie?” Scorpius repeats. He hasn’t given her a name yet.

Draco nods, “a fitting nickname, it means ‘free man.’ Some creatures are not meant to be tamed, they are wild at heart and long to remain free.” He unclasps the cage door, allowing the owl to climb onto his outstretched arm. “But, if we are lucky, they may choose to remain faithfully by our sides.”

“Lottie.” Scorpius finally settles upon a name.

He never took into account where his father might have acquired such extensive knowledge of caged animals. He never considered that this ideology may stem from interactions with a person instead.

Everyone is down on the first floor, waiting for Scorpius. The door left open as Rosanna loads Vega and Polaris’ trunks into the car, using her pointer finger. She rarely uses a wand for things around the house.

Corina must be having a morning. Her little fists are clenched around chunks of their father’s hair. Cheeks splotchy from crying as Draco bounces from side to side.

“Will she live?” Polaris jests, passing a hand over her youngest sister’s hair.

Draco half laughs, “I’m sure she’ll pull through somehow.”

“It’s hard being little, Coco.” Vega tells the little girl. “But soon you’ll be big, and wish you were little again.”

Corina doesn’t understand, resting her head against Draco’s chest. Clearly exhausted from her efforts.

“Scorpius, let your mother know your things are ready.” Draco jerks his chin toward the driveway.

Scorpius nods, heading out the open door.

Their muggle car has three rows of seats, a silver colored sports utility vehicle that sits in the garage, mostly for show.

“Mum, my trunk is ready.”

“Oh, good.” Rosanna pops her head out from the trunk. Her magic envelopes his school trunk, moving it into place with the twin’s.

Polaris’ frog, Persephone, croaks in protest.

“Are you keeping Lottie with you?”

“Oh, yes.” Scorpius forces a smile.

“You ok?” Rosanna closes the hatchback. Moving closer to ruffle his hair.

“I’m alright if you are.” He leans heavily against the trunk.

“I am.” His mother assures him.

They approach the train station in due time, Draco begins pulling into a parking spot while his wife carries on about being too close to the car on her side.

“Baby,” she squeals, slapping at him blindly as the front of their car narrowly avoids the driver’s side door of the other car.

“Rosanna,” Draco all but growls, “close your eyes next time if it is too much for you. I know how to drive.”

Scorpius stops listening after that, their bickering is no more than white noise. It is not uncommon for them to row. They’re both opinionated and passionate in what they believe. But something about this is different, they seem worn down. As if everything has finally begun to eat away at them.

Corina kicks her little legs in her carseat, facing the rear of the car. Easily entertained by the butterflies Draco has charmed to circle near her head.

After a moment she stares up at her brother with wide brown eyes. Holding out the enchanted butterfly, trapped in her fist.

“For me?” Scorpius smiles over at her.

“Uh huh.” Corina smiles, releasing the butterfly. It circles Scorpius briefly, before landing on his nose. He’ll go cross eyed staring at it too long.

“Thank you.”

Their father swings open the door and the butterflies disappear. Draco unbuckles his daughter and promptly hands her off to Rosanna. They can’t use magic here, not until reaching platform 9 3/4, so Draco unloads the trunks onto a trolley.

Making their way through the train station quickly, they cross the threshold into the wizarding world. Scorpius reminds himself of the instructions he’s been given. Keep up with his family, don’t answer any questions, ignore any photographers. But they never discussed what to do in the event that they are separated. Which is exactly what happens.

Scorpius stands alone, swarmed by reporters, shouting at him. Snapping picture after picture.

“What are your thoughts about your father?”

“Are the wards around the Malfoy estate truly to keep intruders out? Or to keep you in?”

“Is it true that-”

“Scorpius!” That voice, his mother’s voice.

“Mum?” He can’t see her, but he hears her.

“Scorpius!” His father now. Of course they would come for him, they always do.

“Scorpius.” A cloud of smoke erupts between himself and the crowd, someone grabs his hand and drags him out of the chaos.

Once the fog clears enough for his eyes to adjust, Scorpius realizes that he is now in the corner, on the opposite side of the platform. Someone is there with him. “Delphi?”

“Scorpius, I’m sorry to bother you with this, but we don’t have much time.” The woman says, breathlessly. Fishing for something in her coat pocket.

“What do you mean?”

“I’m not sure how much your parents have told you about what’s happening at the ministry…but in reference to your father’s case, things aren’t looking good.”

“I know,” Scorpius rakes a hand through his hair.

Draco is facing months, if not years, in Azkaban.

“There is something,” Delphi whispers, “something you could do.”

“Anything,” Scorpius nods, eagerly.

“You could use this.” A time turner, pulled from her coat.

“That’s illegal.”

“Of course.” Delphi drops it back to her side. “Forgive me for suggesting it.”

“It’s alright but I-“ Scorpius stammers, “I don’t see how that would help.”

“If you go back and change things, stop your father from using the imperius curse and prove that the outcome of the war would be different. Then put things back, exactly as they were. You’d return with the memories from the other timelines, put them in a pensieve, they’re admissible in court. Prove your father’s sacrifice was necessary, make him a hero.”

“Will you come with me?”

“Wish I could,” Delphi grimaces, “but the ministry has all employees on strict lockdown until the source of this breech has been identified.”

“Oh.” Scorpius lowers his gaze.

“I’m risking a lot even being here, but your mother is very dear to me. I’d hate to see her lose everything.”

Scorpius nods, taking the cool, metal, time turner in hand. “How will I know where to go?”

Delphi shoots him a grin, “all you need to do is turn it.”

Another puff of smoke, and she is gone.

Scorpius tucks the time turner away safely, in his own pocket. Rushing back to his parents, who are still frantically calling his name.

“Here,” Scorpius waves, “I’m here.”

Rosanna is beside herself, stroking his hair, checking him over thoroughly. “Are you ok, Scorpius?”

No. “Yes, I’m alright.” He hugs her to him. Scorpius loves his mother dearly, the sight of her so upset over him breaks his heart.

Draco tosses the arm not holding Corina around both of them, kissing his son’s hair. “Don’t worry, we will be pressing charges. I won’t have these imbeciles harassing you again.”

Scorpius realizes that his momentary absence scared them, it well and truly terrified them.

The train whistle blows, time to board.

“I love you,” Scorpius says, squeezing his parents a bit tighter. “I love you both.”

“Oh, Scorpius, we love you too.”

“We love you so much.”

And that is why he has to do this.

okay, y'all can say whatever y'all want, but in my opinion, I think it matches him, the hair could be more curly/better shaped, but I didn't really find any other pics of him (just to add that I think the second pic is not him, not sure tbh).

I think he has the same "lazy vibe" that Shu has, the expression of who just woke up, the lips, ugh.. Why babygirl coded.

I think it's funny because when you look at Shu, you would never imagine that he would out of nowhere just take a knife from his pocket and cut all of your clothes.

I headcanon that Shu has the longest fangs of the Sakamaki brothers, Reiji hates it because he just loses for a few millimeters.

Nariman Malanov.

I'll understand if y'all don't agree with this one, but my point was finding one that had facial features that looked like Leonard's.

If you search him up and see Nariman with a different hair color, you'll probably disagree with me and say he doesn't look even a little bit with Reiji, but please, focus on him with black hair.

Also, I think he has the serious face that I wanted Reiji to have, like, yk what face I'm talking about.

You know, the one where he looks at you like he's going to whip your ass and make you clean all his elegant and delicate set of cups.

Owen Hamze McGinnity.

Saw a person on Tumblr saying that white haired V (Devil May Cry 5) looked like Subaru (if I find the post where I saw it, I'll link it here), and I couldn't agree more.

I have a sincere crush on this man, he just screams Subaru to me, can't see Subaru having any face other than Owen's face.

I think Owen's features are sharp and "aggressive", and that's exactly what I wanted on Subaru, something that showed his personality perfectly.

I'll have to find a face claim for Christa that looks like Owen because I agree with the headcanon that Subaru looks like his mother.

Part of Your World | E.M.

Summary: Elijah tries to protect Corina from his world yet she ended up in it anyways.

Elijah was protective of this girl. Well, he was protective of all his past women of interest but this one was different. She was a human. No trace of the supernatural in her blood. He hadn't experienced someone so innocent like her in a while.

He first saw her on Bourbon Street. She led a group on a tour that of New Orleans. He was captured by her love of the city and ability to make even the dullest of stories shine. At the end of the tour, they ended up talking. He informed her of other events that happened and where they took place.

Her bright brown eyes were in awe of him. Her smile could light up a room. There was a certain wit to her that drew him in. Elijah had to learn more about her, but it would be risky. His brother was hated by many different creatures across the globe. An innocent human just as herself wouldn't be able to last.

Try as he might they couldn't stay away. They were always bumping into each other at random locations. He would try to keep their conversations brief but polite. No matter how many times he would try to avoid her she was there.

One fateful day changed the course of their destiny. She demanded to know his deal. The past few times he barely said hi before running from her. His back was to the wall so she could ensure that he didn't escape.

That moment he confessed his feelings for her. She was confused, naturally, but his feelings were reciprocated. They shared a kiss in a busy New Orleans street.

All was going well between them until a new threat appeared in New Orleans. One of Marcellus' men caught them one night. Any and all efforts to keep things a secret were gone. He had to come clean.

Elijah invited her to his home. The first time ever. They mostly met in secluded spots around the city or in her apartment late at night. He wasn't sure how she was going to take the news. The man she was falling for is a vampire. His siblings are vampires. The city she loves is crawling with supernatural beings.

"Elijah," she called out once she walked into the patio. He turned his head in annoyance yet blinked upon seeing her. His nerves were sky high. "What's going on?"
