Hit & Run Commentary #143
Hit & Run
The fad now is to threaten to impose dictatorial conditions when an area’s intensive care unit reaches a certain level of capacity. So has this been specifically formulated in reference to the Conoravirus or will the stipulation remain on the books to be implemented any time some bureaucrat gets a turd crossways or wants a power orgasm?
It was admitted in a Fox News interview by Plague Cultist Dr. Thomas Frieden that it is not yet known if the Coronavirus vaccine will provide immunity for a lifetime or just temporarily. In other words, these fanatics will never be willing to surrender their power. For not knowing anything for sure, these technocrats are certainly absolutist in regards to the decrees the mere human capital is expected to yield to without question.
In response to a restaurateur who exposed the outright hypocrisy of municipal authorities forcing her to cease outdoor operations while caterers were allowed to sit up nearly identical tents on the lot next door in order to feed a film crew, the mayor enforcing the order assured that his heart went out to her. Will such sentiments assist the entrepreneur in paying her taxes and protecting her employees from from sliding into poverty and possible starvation as a result of this very same government’s interference?
Why don’t these public health technocrats and media propagandists advocating lockdowns surrender their salaries and accumulated fortunes to provide for those that lost their jobs as a result of this police state interference into the economy?
Apparently the first Coronavirus vaccine in the United Kingdom available to the general public has been administered to a 90 year old. That way if she soon passes the event can be blamed on anything but the vaccine.
Since they fall into the targeted age bracket, why weren’t Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip the first to get the Plague vaccine in the United Kingdom?
Los Angeles judicial authorities announced those resisting arrest will not be prosecuted. Will that include those that refuse to shroud their countenance with a slave muzzle (commonly referred to as a face mask) or restaurateurs that refuse to comply with lockdown orders?
If we can’t celebrate Christmas as usual in the name of technocratic edicts supposedly on the behalf of public health, then none of this Martin Luther King day of volunteer service horse excrement. If your family members are too diseased to be around, why then are drug addled deadbeats that actually have any boatload of communicable diseases acceptable to be around?
The American people are constantly reminded by news propaganda that the nation is on the cusp of being extended the beneficence of the Coronoavirus vaccine by the technocrats that seemingly grant us permission to exist. And now, by the way, it has been admitted that this might not be a one time deal. Those wishing to comply with the increasingly dictatorial mandates imposed upon them by their overlords might have to get a booster inoculation sometime down the road. This raises a serious question. Much of what we have been forced to endure for nearly a year and in the months to come has been justified in the name of a looming “herd immunity”. If that is achieved, theoretically months or years could pass with almost no one suffering from the affliction. Thus, if the virus allegedly can only survive for a few hours on a surface, how would it be reintroduced to the human population having gone so long without opportunistic hosts other than through a deliberate release on par with an orchestrated biological attack?
It was initially fifteen days to flatten the curve. Then we were told human liberty would be put on hold until there was a vaccine. Now that a vaccine is allegedly available, Plague cultists are insisting that we still won’t be allowed to return to a quality of life considered enjoyable. For despite submitting to this ballyhooed sorcery, those duped into compliance could still theoretically contract or spread the plague. Then why bother getting the inoculation?
A media Plague Cultist announced that, even if you have had the vaccine, you will not be allowed to travel or go maskless until EVERYONE has had the vaccine. That presupposition is being formulated in order to justify violence against, and oppression, and persecution of those that refuse to submit to this intrusive pharmacological alchemy even if the social engineers will insist that compliance is completely voluntary. For like the Jews in the pre-Holocaust Third Reich, it is being suggested by a tech-mogul that these reviled souls be distinguished as a result of the color of the facemasks that individuals will be allowed to wear in relation to their vaccination status.
Arlington, Virginia intends to select a new logo. The current one depicts pillars of a mansion once owned by Robert E. Lee. Instead an insignia is desired reflective of the COMMUNITY’s no doubt mutlticultural values. Perhaps this unifying symbol can depict a crackhouse or a migrant flop shanty consisting of about fifteen illegals crammed into three small bedrooms.
The Burgermeister Meisterburger of New York City, Bill DeBlasio, has announced that snow days are hereby abolished under the rigors of the Plague Cult regime. Given that telelearning imposed from without rather than as part of a deliberate decision to homeschool has proven to be a pedagogical disaster, what is to prevent students from not logging in that day anyway? When asked, could just reply one’s connection was not working that day. It’s not like the students can be hurt any further academically if they don’t show up for a scheduled day and there isn’t likely going to be much of an economy to return to down the road anyway.
Government should only be concerned if aggregate Plague numbers decrease. Whether or not particular individuals have submitted to a vaccine of likely dubious quality should not be any of that institution’s business.
Trump demands $2000 direct stimulus payments. Brings to mind Germans taking wheelbarrows full of money to buy a loaf of bread during the waning days of the Weimar Republic.
It was said it is acceptable if one day the Coronavirus became resistant to the vaccine. Of course that is the hope of the technocrats. It would serve as an excuse for them to never relinquish their power allowing you to return to your life without intrusive oversight of life's most basic functions and desires.
If one does not have the right to refuse a vaccination, what medical interventions do you have a right to refuse? If one cannot refuse a vaccination, why should we get jacked out of shape regarding the sterilization of genetic and mental defectives?
Dr. Fauci assured America’s children that he traveled to the North Pole himself to administer a Conornavirus vaccination for Santa Claus. Given that technocrats such as himself view the masses of the population as little more than children, wonder what other falsehoods at best and lies at worst he has peddled in order to advance his particular agenda.
Presidential aspirant Joe Biden lamented that the Nashville Christmas bombing is an example of the destructive power of the individual. Does he intend to criticize Antifa or Black Lives Matter as examples of the destructive power of groups whose ideologies unhinged from a traditionalist Judeo-Christian worldview exacerbate the violent tendencies of the already morally unstable?
A line in that abysmal Swamp Thing series being broadcast on the CW network went something like “Plants are more sensitive than animals. Their voices are just softer.” So apparently mowing the lawn or pulling weeds in the garden is a greater moral outrage than cockfighting or even abortion.
In response to a restaurateur that exposed the outright hypocrisy of municipal authorities forcing her to cease outdoor operations while a film crew was allowed to utilize tents next door, the mayor enforcing the order assured that his heart goes out to her. Will such sentiments assist the entrepreneur in paying her taxes and ensuring that her employees don’t slide into poverty or even starvation?
Do Plague cultists condemning a New Year’s Eve Christian concert as a potential superspreader event intend to articulate as much outrage against celebrations scheduled for a number of American Indian casinos planning to host up to six thousand people? Radical multiculturalists will retort that Indian territory is not subject to state law to the same degree. Maybe not. But aren’t these the same globalists that any other time insist that microorganisms don’t abide by or recognize arbitrary borders?

Government’s National Security Arm Took Charge During the Covid Response — Brownstone Institute
Government’s National Security Arm Took Charge During the Covid Response — Brownstone Institute
In previous articles I discussed the probability that Deborah Birx, the White House Coronoavirus Task Force Coordinator, was not a representative of the public health agencies but, rather, was appointed by the National Security Council. I now have proof that this was, indeed, the case. I have also uncovered documents that show: As of March… Government’s National Security Arm Took Charge During…

2022 / 14
Aperçu of the Week:
"Whoever fights can lose. He who does not fight has already lost."
(Bertolt Brecht)
Bad News of the Week:
Coal import ban: EU approves sanctions package against Russia
Meeting of foreign ministers in Brussels: NATO wants to supply more weapons
War on Ukraine: Russia admits "significant losses"
Butscha atrocities: BND (German intelligence agency) has insight into Russian responsibility
UN Human Rights Council: Russia's membership suspended
Poll: 45% of Germans want more decisive Ukraine policy
These were the top six headlines in German news outlets in one day. You could put it another way: The invasion of Ukraine completely dominates political action. And many measures against Russia run counter to other objectives. For example, energy policy is no longer oriented toward the expansion of renewable energy sources, but toward the desired independence from Russian imports. Obviously, you can't have it both ways in a hurry.
That's not really just bad news? Then here: China's restrictive Corona policy hits new lows, with infected babies separated from their parents, front doors welded shut, and paramilitary units hunting down people who (need to) just go shopping.
Good News of the Week:
My friends haven't had it easy with me lately. For in the face of the third parallel Crisis that has permanently shaken my solid worldview - first the self-evidence of health by Corona, then the self-evidence of security by a war in Europe, and always above all the self-evidence of my children's (survival) prospects on this planet by climate change, species extinction, pollution - I was on the way to becoming pessimistic. As I found it increasingly difficult to maintain my confidence that humanity would have enough insight to forego comfort, to ultimately successfully defy all these crises.
The just published third partial report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is not limited to a scientific description of the situation. Yes, man-made climate change will lead to a warming of up to 4.4 degrees Celsius before the end of this century. That would be the apocalypse. But also the worst case scenario. After all, science cannot know how humanity will behave in the future - what it and its governments will do to contain the climate crisis. The current report attempts to describe just that in more detail: What are our options?
The next eight years are crucial for the way forward. That is the main message. Because the targets set by the states so far are not enough to limit the rise in temperature. The existing infrastructure of power plants and industrial facilities alone would be more than enough to consume the remaining carbon budget. The report clarifies the potential of individual measures, calculates dozens of scenarios, and makes the dimensions clear. The biggest benefits: Solar power, wind power and less forest destruction - these are the silver bullets in the fight against the climate crisis. Each of these options has the potential to avoid up to about ten percent of annual greenhouse gas emissions. Another advantage is that expansion is already economically viable or can be achieved at low additional cost. The cost of solar and wind energy and batteries for example has fallen by up to 85 percent since 2010.
All right, it can't be done without realizing targets that are - to put it innocuously - "ambitious" in view of the concrete implementations to date. But it can be done. Still. The apocalypse is avoidable. If we all do what is necessary. See Berthold Brecht.
That's not really just Good News? Then here: "It took 232 years and 115 previous appointments." Ketanji Brown Jackson became the first black female U.S. Supreme Court justice to be confirmed by the Senate.
Personal happy moment of the week:
On my way home from a stressful day the day before yesterday, which didn't even leave me time for a lunch break, I stopped at a supermarket to get some snack. And suddenly he was standing in front of me: one of my most important friends, whom I last saw seven months ago. It was only 15 seconds and a hug ("Sorry, the kids are waiting in the car..."), but it was that one important ray of sunshine that came through the gray clouds and brightened my gloom.
I couldn't care less...
...that Boris Becker was found guilty by a London jury on 4 of 24 charges. It's about fraud in connection with insolvency proceedings: Becker had tried to hide assets. The fact that this includes such obvious items as his parents' house or his first Wimbledon trophy can no longer be explained - as his lawyers tried - by naivety and laziness, but by audacity. And for that it does not belong to him otherwise.
As I write this...
...I think of the old saying "April - does what it will". Because today there were snowflakes. And tomorrow there will be 15 degrees Celsius. Crazy.
Post Scriptum:
In Europe, we've always found it strange that the U.S. bans surprise eggs on the grounds of "risk of injury to children" and not AR-15s. And now they actually turn out to be dangerous: Ferrero is recalling tens of thousands of its candies because of salmonella risk, and a plant in Belgium has been closed by health authorities. It is unfortunate that even after the next school massacre - which is as certain as the Amen in the church - there will not be a recall of semi-automatic handguns.

believe
too long don't read. i just want this for me to remember later.
my favorite three dollar banh mi shop reopened last week. as soon as the quarantine started they put a 'closed until vaccine' sign in the front door, but that was back when nobody knew how long this thing would last. couple weeks maybe? a month if things get crazy? they are over near bhfm, so i have been checking on them about once a month since the quarantine started and sending photos of their current state to some friends. nothing was happening inside but someone was obviously cleaning it regularly. they are in a big old strip mall built on the side of a hill and a couple of months ago half the parking lot got closed off because of sinkholes, including the whole strip in front of restaurant. i thought maybe that was the final straw, but i kept checking. damn it, if i didn't check on saturday and they were open. i wasn't even hungry, but i bought a bag of sandwiches. their pâté is so good; i can't believe i almost forgot. it was 9:30 in the morning, and the line was ten deep. they already had a phone orders stacking up on the shelf and ready to go. i sent the photo of the to go orders to some friends without comment or context and there was an immediate frenzy. it was a good day for me.
i don't know how they did it. seriously, how do you bank enough money as a divey, hole in the wall soup and sandwich place to stay closed for more than a year? i am so happy for them.

LA passed a mandate requiring proof of vaccination to go inside any establishment, and while that’s bad enough as-is, one bit I found particularly bad given that this is somehow supposed to be our new normal is that anyone who has a legitimate medical reason for not being able to get the vaccine can’t enter any indoor establishment, seemingly ever. This isn’t just for restaurants either, it’s for stores, gyms, etc. Any indoor establishment is relevant.
In a world where the elite are clearly pushing the idea that this is the new normal, this mandate effectively bars anyone w/ a medical issue prohibiting them from getting the shot from ever going anywhere ever again. I know that’s likely a small minority of people but like someone must see how that’s an issue, right? Even if you’re crazy pro-vaccine, that’s still a blatant issue.
Please, can we not become Australia.

The pandemic is to force you to get the vaccine. The vaccine is to force you to get the vaccine passport. The vaccine passport is to force you into the social credit system. The social credit system is to force you into obeying the government.
