Three similar but very different pieces. One for a challenge, one for creativity and one for plain and pure fun.
The emerald and gold d20 is in the hands of my friend Noelia, who wanted a bag with a nice marbled design but left all the creative decisions in my hands, trusting me blindly.
The blue d12 was commissioned by Ana with very specific specifications: inspired by the game Coyote and crow, with the corporate colours and a specially designed typology.
And the antique bronze d12 came about while watching my friend Capitán Yelmo playing a game with a very Ancient Roman aesthetic, and where I tested the viability of a semi-invisible half meat seam (with a satisfactory success).
Three pieces that sum up very well my creative capacity starting from the (almost) same pattern.
During a lunch together in Spiral Hill village, Vanilla's learned that Bunnie's not really got any parents of her own; she had just shown up one day when she was little and was raised at an orphanage. So naturally, she decides to fix this herself - if Bunnie's not got a rabbit mom of her own, SHE will be the rabbit mom! Of course, picking her up and walking off with her is just a bit of a playful tease; meanwhile, Bunnie's husband Antoine is inspecting a shiny sword that a traveling crow is offering up for sale, and Sally's getting the village tour from Tangle and Whisper!
Just wanted to draw a cute interaction between Vanilla and Bunnie initially, but the picture ended up getting a biiiit bigger than that in the end!
You know used to when people asked me what show being canceled unfairly made me the maddest it was a easy my Babysitters a vampire now it's all of Netflix and hbos crap like lockwood & co shadow and bone/six of crows coyote vs acme and Batgirl (Yes the last two are movies that were shelved but it's in the same vein)
OC lineup. Whee. Individual refs under cut. Might revamp some of their profiles on toyhouse soon. These were mostly because I kind of wanted to dress my guys up, lol. Still haven’t, though.
No crafting update today because I spent all my spoons checking out a local(ish) wildlife reservation/hiking place, which was awesome!
I could not explore the whole place, and it is very much "only wheelchair friendly if the person pushing my wheelchair is capable of holding my entire weight against a steep slope and immediately pushing the chair up another only partially paved steep slope", but I walked the whole time*! I got to hear wolves howling through the forest and it is a whole hell of a lot eerier to hear on a foggy day in a winter forest than it was the only other time I've heard it, which was a very bright sunny day in an amphitheater at a zoo where one wolf howled alone on stage. There were crows cawing and wolves howling and it was absolutely magnificent and suddenly a whole lot of things from various fantasy novels I read as a kid hit very different. Like, I get why hearing the wolves howl in the night would be alarming now!
*we did bring my rollator/transport chair in the car, and the backup plan was that my dad or my brother would go get it and push me back to the car if I needed help
