This decadent decapod, Paralithodes sp., is also known as a king crab. Spiny king crabs crawl across the seafloor in search of their next meal, which can range from other crabs and sea stars to dead animals or other organic material that sinks from the surface waters above. These crabs are found at depths between 150 and 700 meters (500 and 2,300 feet) and can grow up to 15 centimeters (six inches) across.
[id copied from alt text: photo of a paper and ink drawing of a crab with a human face running at the viewer. The grimacing face is in the middle of the crab's body and it's running on human legs with action lines in the background. Text says "Crabulous wants to know your location."]

The Project for Awesome charity livestream is still ongoing for another 12 or so hours and the tiltify will be up for a couple days after that! There's still time to vote for the charities you want to receive the funds and to donate!
