If you somehow didn’t catch up, I was on display in THE art museum of Orlando, FL!

Being a featured creator and have 5 of my creations in the hallowed galleries of the OMA, next to 15th century paintings, is something I’d never expect to actually happened.

Thank you so much to @form2fashion for believing in me. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them. This collaborative partnership with @orlandomuseumofart was me in my zone, my happy place. Tha j you to @miss.kookie.munster & @superspookyyy for helping me with the set up/breaking down, and hanging out with me among the whispering paintings. Thank you so much to everyone who was there for me, in person or spirit. I was a boy who got to have a Cinderella moment.

YES I have many, you have come to the right place anon <3

kuzco from the emperor's new groove is a good one, in that it's totally tznius without changing anything and is also INSTANTLY recognizable (and fun)

terra from teen titans (besides being one of the characters of all time) is a good one that's pretty simple to adjust to being tznius. I don't feel comfortable in crop tops so I just,,, didn't wear one when I cosplayed her. slap on a flairy yellow skirt and you're good to go!

princess leia! jewish icon! I cosplayed her to the renfaire a bunch of years ago and it was a blast

I cosplayed her with shorts, but luz noceda from the owl house would be pretty easy, wear a long sleeve shirt and a denim skirt instead!

some other ideas:

cruella deville is super easy, wear a black dress with a higher neckline!

I've thought for YEARS that the thirteenth doctor's look would be a super simple tznius cosplay with a long swishy skirt since her pants are already so wide

hope some of these ideas help you anon! I currently do wear pants but I remember how difficult (and often annoying) it was to find good, recognizable, and fun cosplays that were still tznius.

you will never catch kallias wearing the same costume twice halloween means the WORLD to them. this year i decree they would pull up in an unnecessarily high quality milo monster camp cosplay that they charmed the royal tailors into fashioning. tits out for milo belladona 🙏

galen would not dress up on their own, but never fear! kallias got them a costume too. it would be The most luxurious cruella deville costume you've ever seen. galen would find themself enjoying it in the end and be secretly grateful that kallias roped them into wearing it

i need to replace the wig for my ranboo cosplay which only makes me think of the numerous bad decisions i’ve made regarding that wig. i started out with a cheap cruella deville lookin wig bc i liked the drama of the interesting shape and hairline and such. the wig never looked right and i ended up actually flipping it around so it would look marginally better. unfortunately wearinf a wig backwards only really works for videos so i had to buy a new one when i was ready to bring ranboo to con

and in my infinite wisdom. instead of dropping 30 bucks on a wig that will last me forever. i bought another cheap amazon wig. so now i’ve spent 30 on cheap amazon wigs and am still gonna have to replace it again.

like in fairness there was no way i could have known just how much cranboo would come to mean to me in december 2020 when i bought the first wig, so like, i don’t blame myself for not getting the nice one, but like. by june 2021? when i was fully hyperfixated on cranboo and had already dropped hundreds on the suit of armor i built last summer? why didn’t i just get the nice wig?

(i got the nice wig for phil, btw.)

Cruella DeVil “THE PAST” gown by Duy Truong

Oh my gosh! I’m so rarely active on my Tumblr anymore. I’m only on Instagram now. Please check me out there as I post more of my work on that platform.

The queen is dead! LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!

I finished Cruella’s THE PAST imperial gown last night and I can’t describe how emotional I am about it. The moment this gown appeared in the trailer, I fell head over heels. The statement! Vivienne Westwood x Alexander McQueen! The empress establishing her conquered empire!

I reinterpreted a few things with my rendition. The large petals are now large organza pleats - 810 yards worth. I changed the silver belt to a sash of safety pins; it was something young Estella would adorn on herself as well as frequent fashion statement from the 70’s punk era.

My favorite part of this entire ensemble are the epaulettes, which I had the best time making with all of the variety of trims and figurines, and “The Past” banner. Like Cruella, I adorned this jacket with any trinkets I had, and made the entire thing in a short time frame and CHAOTICALLY.

This is the first costume I’ve made with my new @janomeamerica machine. And it’s been a whole blessing to have. Without it, I wouldn’t have completed it as fast as I did with all of its features. Thank you Janome for making such a trooper.
