Nixels

They are huge pests all around the world, who have it against the Mixels for unknown reasons as of now.

So if you ever see a Mixel without their colors get help as soon as possible.

Nixed Mixels can infect others so make sure to check your house for nixels to prevent such incidents.

The Mixels can use items called cubits to turn into stronger forms called mixes to defend themselves against nixels or other threats.

Might sound a little weird, but do you have any Headcanons on cubits?

I actually have some!

Whenever Mixels use a Cubit, they sometimes leave behind something called a “Cubit Seed” which is basically just a tiny little fragment of Cubit. When a Mixel comes across a Cubit Seed, they will usually instinctually pick it up and bury it in the ground somewhere, where it eventually grows into a brand new Cubit. What kind of Cubit the Seed becomes mainly depends on 2 factors: Where the Seed was buried and What kind of Mixel buried it. Let’s say for example that during a trip to the Swamplands a Spikel finds a Cubit Seed and decides to bury it in the Swamplands, that resulting combination of Mixel and Habitat would cause that Seed to become a Spikel/Glorp Corp Cubit. Rainbow Cubits are formed when a Cubit Seed is grown in a completely tribe-neutral environment, such as being artificially planted in a place like Mixel Park by a robot without any Direct Mixel contact.

#units #graphs #I like that due to them only showing integer proportions you sometimes have to backtrack a lot to find common units to compare things #like Ramsden's chain vs Gunter's chain #a ramsden chain is 5 ropes = 20 steps = 40 paces = 200 shaftments #while a gunter chain is 4 rods = 44 cubits = 132 shaftments #so about two-thirds of a ramsden chain #(actually exactly .66 of a ramsden chain so a little under two-thirds) #also 'about half a foot' seems like a measurement that comes up a lot #so it's good to know that that's called a shaftment #definitely no off-color jokes to be made about that #also funny that they only show integer proportions *except* for the finger/inch ratio #which is 7/8 #I guess it just seemed to weird to have the finger floating off by itself

Only asking cause my doctor keeps asking if I get pins and needles and I keep saying no, cause I figure it’s common to have your hands go numb when scrolling on your phone. Something about your elbows being bent and the position of your hand I think causes it. It happens more when laying down too.

My tablet came in, so I drew more Ling merch! I also got holographic tape, so the Gachaling stickers can come in sparkle flavor!

The infamous Hellhound memos have surfaced. Crowley was tasked with being part of the committee that came up with Hellhounds, and he took an instant distaste to them. Spent ages trying to talk the committee round to something a little more subtle. It really didn't go his way.

i've been wondering how common hand stretching before drawing is among artists. bonus question: did you go to art school, and if so, were you taught to stretch your hands before drawing there?
