WHO IS GEORGIE DAVIDSON?

Georgie Davidson is a 17 year old student at Hatchetfield High School. She lives with her parents, Mr. Ken Davidson and Mrs. Carol Davidson, in a suburb near the outskirts of Witchwood Forest. She’s a music + theater nerd, a stoner, and an avid researcher of urban legends and local history.

Her relationships differ based on timelines and circumstance, but there are some through-lines.

- Best friends with Alice Woodward. They met at a CCRP take your kid to work day as elementary schoolers and have been inseparable since. Bill is also like a second father to her.

- Close friends with Ruth Fleming. Georgie started doing school theater very young, and pretty much knew everyone involved. Ruth joined the tech crew in middle school and, being a certified chatterbox, Georgie regularly spent her breaks trying to talk to the new girl. Eventually, she broke her down and they’ve been close since.

- Drifted apart childhood friends with Richie Lipschitz. In middle school, they rode the same bus and both ended up sitting next to each other one day. Georgie struck up a conversation out of boredom and something just stuck. They kept sitting with each other and talking more in school, becoming closer friends. But, Georgie started developing feelings for Richie and she didn’t understand them, so she began to distance herself. Now, they don’t speak at all.

- Family Friends (?) with Paul Matthews. Georgie was babysat by Paul as a child, often alongside Alice, as she’d frequently stay at the Woodward place. She still calls him Uncle Paul, a childhood habit.

- Charlotte Sweetly babysat Georgie once in a while, too. Mr. Davidson asked the employees of the office to look after his daughter as a last resort, and offered to pay as overtime. Charlotte accepted happily, and spent the night braiding Georgie’s hair, making cookies and singing with the girl. They did this regularly, until Mr. Davidson became uncomfortable with Georgie being around her husband, Sam. But, like Paul, she’s still Aunt Charlotte.

- Second-cousins with Zoey & Zach Chambers. They don’t see each other or talk like, ever. But, it makes Georgie feel very starstruck to be related to Hatchetfield’s finest actress.

- Friends with Deb, Trevor, Caitlyn, PJ, Reese, Rose, Ziggs, Sof, and Danny

- Dislikes Max Jägerman, Kyle Clauger, Brad Callahan, Grace Chasity, Brenda, Ted Spankoffski, The Metzgers

Do you have a pet(s), if so, how did they get their names? four cats and two dogs! cats: phoebe is for the greek goddess, mogget is from the old kingdom book series, salem because it was almost halloween and we wanted something spooky, and church because he's a maine coon and my wife wanted to be funny (from pet sematary). dogs: ellie because i'd been watching jurassic park the day we got her so we named her after dr ellie sattler, and juno because of the roman goddess and my wife and i had an OC in one of our RPs at the time with a dog by that name.

When muses collide!!!!

I had been planning to make some sort of big event when I hit my 10,000th post or hit 1500 followers or hit my 5th year anniversary, but they all have come and gone and I was able to make absolutely nothing >:-( So just for giggles, I’m posting this as a big THANK YOU to everyone who has put up with all my shenanigans. To my new followers, please don’t run away yet, and to my old followers, your payment for tolerating me and my blog will be placed in an envelope underneath your pillowcase.

For your entertainment on this dreary Saturday afternoon, I am pleased to present to you some random, useless trivia about this blog.

> Mun has been here since 2012, deleted in November 2016, and returned three weeks later. It was then that I decided to become a W40k blog after jumping eyes closed, fingers crossed into this fandom. > The very first muse of this blog was Karimah Tahrik, also the star of my first Warhammer 40k fanfic Tainted. Yes it has not been updted in almost 5 years. I intend to finish it though. Hopefully before I get dementia. Karimah was followed by AdMech Salvia, and lastly by Fuuko.

Kini isu terkait penanganan perubahan iklim telah menjadi perhatian dari berbagai sektor di seluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia. Penangan permasalahan perubahan iklim merupakan salah satu fokus utama pemerintah Indonesia dengan komitmen Zero Emission 2060. Salah satu cara untuk menangani masalah perubahan iklim adalah dengan menggunakan energi terbarukan. Untuk itu kini banyak stakeholder mulai melirik terkait penggunakan energi terbarukan termasuk Pertamina. Dalam rangka menjalankan program energi baru terbarukan, Pertamina salah satunya mengusung program Desa Energi Berdikari (DEB) sebagai program Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan (TJSL) yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia. “Dengan total jumlah desa yang diberdayakan sebanyak 76 titik diantaranya terdiri dari 57 program pembangkit listrik tenaga surya, 12 program pengolahan biogas, 4 program microhydro dan 1 program pembangkit listrik tenaga angin. Salah satu Desa Energi Berdikari Pertamina terletak di Desa Keliki Kecamatan Tegallalang Kabupaten Gianyar yang memanfaatkan panel surya sebagai pembangkit listrik,” ujar Gema Wachid, mewakili Society of Renewable Energy (SRE), Selasa (28/11/2023). Desa Keliki yang berada di wilayah operasional PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus Integrated Terminal Manggis mengusung konsep Desa Wisata Ramah Lingkungan yang mandiri secara energi. Dalam kegiatanya, Desa Keliki memanfaatkan panel surya untuk keperluan pengolahan sampah dengan pola reduce, reuse, and recycle (TPS3R), pengairan sawah di tujuh lokasi subak (kelompok pengairan sawah), penerangan area TPS3R dan penerangan area pemancingan. Sebagai contoh kunjungan dari Deputy Secretary of Energy Amerika Serikat David Turk, Delegasi Youth Dialogue Southeast Asia Youth Energy Forum (SAYEF) dan kemudian kunjungan dari Dinas Ketenaga Kerjaan Dan Energi Sumber Daya Mineral Provinsi Bali. Kali ini Desa Keliki Kembali mendapat kunjungan para anggota Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) yang merupakan perusahaan internasional Jerman yang beroperasi di berbagai bidang di lebih dari seratus dua puluh negara dalam bidang kerja sama pembangunan. Dalam implementasinya, GIZ bekerja sama tidak hanya dengan pemerintah, tetapi juga bersama lembaga negara maupun sektor swasta. Dalam kunjungan ke Desa Keliki, GIZ melihat implementasi energi bersih dan terbarukan yang digunakan untuk operasi kegiatan TPS3R. Kemudian mengunjungi lokasi subak dengan agenda melihat implementasi energi bersih dan terbarukan yang digunakan untuk operasional pengairan sawah di tujuh subak di Desa Keliki Kecamatan Tegallalang Kabupaten Gianyar. “Kami sangat senang mengunjungi Desa Keliki, terima kasih banyak telah menerima kunjungan kami. Semoga nantinya Desa Keliki dapat terus berkembang dan menjadi semakin menarik. Sekarang Kami dari berbagai negara telah mengenal Desa Keliki," ujar Sascha Oppowa, perwakilan tim GIZ. Saat ini Desa Energi Berdikari Keliki menggunakan kapasitas energi sebesar 28 Kwp yang berkontribusi terhadap pengurangan emisi 36 tonCO2eq/tahun, pengolahan sampah organik hingga mencapai 180 ton/tahun dan penghematan listrik hingga mencapai Rp 60.000.000/tahun. “Penggunaan panel surya di TPS3R dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk mengoperasikan berbagai mesin pengolah sampah, mulai dari proses pencacahan untuk menciptakan sampah, kompos hingga proses press sampah non organik,” ujar Ni Putu Ayu dari Yayasan Bumi Sasmaya selaku pendamping program DEB Keliki Pertamina. Tidak hanya sebatas pemberian bantuan panel surya, Pertamina turut menyokong kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang ada di Desa Keliki. “Program Energi Berdikari Keliki memiliki berbagai jenis kegiatan yang terdiri dari Pertamina Cerdas, Pertamina Sehat, Pertamina Hijau dan Pertamina Berdikari.  Pertamina Cerdas fokus kepada program pengembangan sekolah berbasis lingkungan yang dikembangkan di SDN 3 Keliki, Pertamina Sehat program peningkatan kualitas kesehatan ibu dan anak Posyandu, Pertamina Hijau sebagai program pengembangan inovasi manajemen pengolahan sampah, pertanian organik dan pengembangan wisata desa dan Pertamina Berdikari untuk program penggunaan energi terbarukan untuk pengelolaan desa,” terang Subhan Fajri, Integrated Terminal Manager Manggis. Setelah mengunjungi kawasan TPS3R dan subak, tim GIZ dan pengelola DEB Desa  Keliki saling bertukar pikiran terkait penggunaan panel surya yang ada di Desa Keliki. “Keliki memiliki potensi yang sangat besar untuk dikembangkan, tidak hanya sebatas desa pengelola sampah. Karena di Keliki terdapat berbagai macam hal menarik seperti budaya, tarian, lukisan serta pemandangan yang indah karena memiliki pegunungan dan hamparan sawah yang luas,” jelas I Ketut Wita selaku Kepala Desa Keliki. Welcome to our guide on How to install and configure OpenNebula KVM Node on Ubuntu 20.04|18.0416.04 LTS. Our last article was on  How to Install OpenNebula Front-end on Ubuntu. Before you can proceed with this guide, you should have working OpenNebula Front-end server which can be installed from the link shared. For CentOS 7, check OpenNebula KVM Node Installation on CentOS 7 KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is an Open Source hypervisor for OpenNebula’s Open Cloud Architecture. KVM is a complete virtualization software for Linux where each Virtual Machine interacts with its own virtualized hardware. Install OpenNebula KVM Node on Ubuntu 20.04|18.04|16.04 The KVM Nodes (physical hosts) should have CPU with Intel VT or AMD’s AMD-V features, in order to support virtualization. KVM’s Preparing to use KVM guide will clarify any doubts you may have regarding if your hardware supports KVM. [Y/n] y You should have these line under /etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf for oneadmin to work well with KVM: $ sudo vim /etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf unix_sock_group = "oneadmin" unix_sock_rw_perms = "0777" Always restart libvirtd when you make a change. sudo systemctl restart libvirtd.service libvirt-bin.service For further configuration, check the specific guide: KVM. Step 3: Configure Passwordless SSH OpenNebula Front-end connects to the hypervisor Hosts using SSH. You must distribute the public key of the useroneadmin from all machines to the file /var/lib/one/.ssh/authorized_keyson all the machines.   When the package was installed in the Front-end, an SSH key was generated and the authorized_keys populated. We need to create a known_hosts file and sync it as well to the nodes.   To create the known_hosts file, we have to execute this command as user oneadmin in the Front-end with all the node names and the Front-end name as parameters: $ sudo su - oneadmin $ ssh-keyscan ... >> /var/lib/one/.ssh/known_hosts Now we need to copy the directory /var/lib/one/.ssh to all the nodes. You can reset the password for the oneadmin user on all nodes. sudo passwd oneadmin Then on Front-end node, run $ scp -rp /var/lib/one/.ssh :/var/lib/one/ $ scp -rp /var/lib/one/.ssh :/var/lib/one/ Test ssh from Front-end, you should not be prompted for a password: $ ssh $ ssh Example Generate keys: $ ssh-keyscan 192.168.18.50 192.168.18.51 >> /var/lib/one/.ssh/known_hosts Where 192.168.18.50 is the IP address of Frontend Node and  192.168.18.51 is the IP Address of first KVM node. It is highly recommended to use a dedicated network for management purposes. OpenNebula supports four different networking modes: Bridged. The Virtual Machine is directly attached to an existing bridge in the hypervisor. This mode can be configured to use security groups and network isolation. VLAN. Virtual Networks are implemented through 802.1Q VLAN tagging. VXLAN. Virtual Networks implements VLANs using the VXLAN protocol that relies on a UDP encapsulation and IP multicast. Open vSwitch. Similar to the VLAN mode but using an Open vSwitch instead of a Linux bridge. Documentation for each is provided on the links. My setup uses Bridged networking. I have three bridges on compute hosts, for storage, a private network, and public data. For storage configurations, visit Open Cloud Storage Step 5: Adding a Host to OpenNebula The final step is Adding a Host to OpenNebula. The node is being registered on the OpenNebula Front-end so that OpenNebula can launch VMs on it. This step can be done in the CLI or in Sunstone, the graphical user interface. Follow just one method, not both, as they accomplish the same. Adding a Host through Sunstone Open the Sunstone >  Infrastructure -> Hosts. Click on the + button. Select KVM for type field. The fill in the fqdn or IP address of the node in the Hostname field. Go back to the hosts’ section and confirm it’s in ON state. If the host turns to the stateerr instead of on check /var/log/one/oned.log Chances are it’s a problem with the SSH! Adding a Host through the CLI To add a node to the cloud, run this command as oneadmin in the Front-end: Create using: $ onehost create -i kvm -v kvm Then check added hosts after few minutes. $ onehost list ID NAME CLUSTER TVM ALLOCATED_CPU ALLOCATED_MEM STAT 0 192.168.18.51 default 0 0 / 200 (0%) 0K / 3.9G (0%) on This is the end of OpenNebula KVM Node Installation on Ubuntu 20.04|18.04|16.04.
