Devory, Devie, Leah o como quieras te llames ahora. He querido hacer esto hace tiempo, como no te das una idea, pero es que soy tan cobarde, tan tonto y tan terco. Soy un idiota y que por eso mismo, ha perdido tantas cosas importantes en su vida, principalmente, a todas aquellas personas las cuales amó más que a nada.

Sé que todo esto es tan repentino y confuso, que aunque no lo creas, también lo es para mí. Tal vez lo sea porque un idiota bastante colapsado y destrozado por sus propios sentimientos le esté escribiendo a su ex a las tres de la madrugada para confesarle todo lo que se guardó durante todo este jodido tiempo. No estoy buscando nada a cambio, ni mucho menos una respuesta porque a decir verdad no tengo la valentía suficiente para afrontar todo esto, pero sin embargo, quiero dejarte ver todo lo que no fuiste capaz de conocer antes de irme y así poder quitarme este dolor punzante en el pecho cada vez que tus recuerdos vienen a mí a flor de piel.

Antes de todo esto, quiero disculparme, pedirte perdón por todo el dolor y daño que te hice, por no haberte amado como merecías y cuidarte como si fueras lo más preciado en este mundo de mierda porque realmente lo sos. Fui in imbecil, un estúpido que solo se fijó en lo que creía que era mejor para él y no para el otro, entonces me alejé, porque creí que lo único que necesitabas para ser feliz era irme de tu lado, porque, ¿quién querría soportar a alguien tan inestable como yo? si lo único para lo que servía era para ser una carga bastante jodida en la vida de uno. Ya era costumbre sentirme así de vacío constantemente, con cada vez menos razones por las cuales poder estar bien y me siento tan enojado conmigo mismo. Soy una persona que realmente no vale nada. Quisiera estar bien, pensar que todo lo estará, pero siempre termino alejando a todas las personas de mí porque creo que al final es lo único bien que podría hacer. Y estaba tan errado, esta vez lo estaba más que nunca y perdón por haber sido así, por haberlo sido con vos, por todo lo malo, simplemente no pude evitarlo. Siempre hubo una voz en mi cabeza que constantemente me recordaba que alejarme era lo mejor para todos.

No busco excusas para remediar lo que alguna vez hice mal, acepto mis errores y que supe hacerte mucho daño. Perdón, sinceramente perdón por todo. No encuentro las palabras correctas para hacerte ver cuánto es el dolor que oprime sobre mi pecho con el simple hecho de pensar que estuviste mal por mi culpa, me odio tanto, nunca jamás tuve la intención de herirte, de dañarte, si lo que más quería era cuidarte con toda mi vida. Pero no lo hice, no pude hacerlo y tampoco supe cómo debía. Siento que hice todo lo que pude, pero perdón por no ser suficiente, de verdad me esforcé por sentir que por fin podía darte todo lo que merecías, pero ese sentimiento nunca llegó... dios perdón por todo. No te valoré como tuve que hacerlo y seguro nunca más conozca a alguien como vos.

Perdóname por haber destruido tu sonrisa en algún momento, por llevarme tu felicidad y por hacer que lloraras, perdón por todo el daño que te causé. Pareciera que no supiera hacer otra cosa más que destruir. Perdón por amarte tanto y no saber haberte cuidado.

Escribo esto llorando porque te extraño y te necesito, ahora que no te tengo me doy cuenta de lo importante que siempre fuiste para mí. Perdóname por haberme alejado de tu vida, por haberte hecho creer que todas mis palabras eran mentira y que esos "te amo" o "te quiero" no eran más que palabras vacías. Perdón por las veces que me buscaste y lo único que hice fue alejarme más de vos, perdón por no valorarte y muy tarde querer hacerlo, perdón por haber sido un egoísta de mierda y no haber limpiado tus lágrimas cuando más lo necesitabas, por romper tu corazón de esa manera tan agría. De verdad lo siento, ahora sólo me queda desearte lo mejor, porque claramente no fuí yo, espero obtengas lo que mereces; ser feliz.

Adiós, hasta pronto o hasta nunca, no sé cómo debería cerrar esta carta. Pero supongo que el tiempo o el destino sabrá cuál es la forma correcta.
