More shit for my dpxdc merfolk au!

No I’m not censoring boobs. I have Opinions TM on this matter, don’t get me started. Basically: If mermen don’t get their nipples censored by unnecessary clothing, neither do mermaids.

I’m trying to have some diversity with body types in these designs, for no reason other than wanting some variety.

For Cass [Sting Ray] I can’t really decide on a body type I like for her. I’ve drawn her before with the “conventionally attractive girl body type” (bc that was my reference pic and I turned it into Cass lol) and I liked it bc she’s fine like that. But I also love her being more bulky/muscular like she is in WFA. But for this design, I am spreading my Chubby Cass Propaganda TM. Okay, she’s not that chubby, but I like the idea of her moving past her whole living-weapon thing and gaining some weight bc she’s not training 24/7 anymore. Obviously she’s still very physically fit ofc; she’s the best fighter in the world.

Steph I kept exactly how she is in canon bc she’s already perfect just the way she is. Though I am considering making her a bit more muscular.

Dick’s also pretty similar to canon, but I made him a bit slimmer. I always imagined him as more of a lean muscle kind of guy but dc loves giving all of it’s characters of the same gender the same exact body type.

Duke I made more square. He’s based on an eel so the rectangle body just made sense to me.

Jason’s just huge and Damian’s just small.

Next up is Babs. Then comes Bruce and Tim. Danny’s last bc I haven’t figured out what fish he’s gonna be yet lol. The rest of the fentons are human so I don’t really need to redesign them so much besides maybe different clothes.

FURTHER RAMBLING UNDER THE CUT bc i put a lot of thought into these

Steph is a betta fish. Ik that doesn’t make much sense bc they’re tropical (i think?) and domestic and like super aggressive and only the male ones have those pretty fins— but suspend your disbelief! She a mermaid. I’m using some real science but some of it’s just me playing with fish like dolls. ANYWAY! The reason she got fired in this au was bc her long, beautiful fins were way too fragile and Bruce stopped it bc she got hurt too easily. Nowadays she binds her fins close to her body and attaches fake ones for swimming as Spoiler. Either that or they’re not vigilantes at all in this au, I’m still deciding. I also based her hair on her Robin look.

Dick is a flying fish, bc of COURSE he’s a flying fish. What else would he be, huh? I have visions about him jumping out of the water and sailing over or onto the Fentons’ boat. The transition on his waist is supposed to mimic the nightwing symbol if you can’t tell. That’s another design element I’m trying to vary— fish to flesh transitions.

Cass is a Sting Ray. She was originally gonna be a manta ray, but when i looked it up, sting rays were the ones with the more round shape i wanted. Mantas had much bigger wings, which were absolutely not gonna fit on this paper. But sting rays are cool! They’re super friendly, some aquariums have little “petting zoos” where you can pet the sting rays! And also, yk, stinging. I’m betting the ones at the aquarium didn’t have stingers that can affect humans tho. I may have to do further sting ray research. Yes that bigass thing is attached to her back everywhere except for her neck and the base of here head (bc i love drawing hair too much). Her arms are, ofc, not attached to it. I made her a ray in the first place bc they have very good camouflage at the bottom of the ocean. I saw this picture of a ray blending in but it was ominous af. It felt perfect for her.

Please a Legally Blonde Steddie AU could bang

Steve is sick of everyone thinking he’s an idiot just because he decided to study cosmetology and not something ‘academic’, he’s even pretty sure that his ex girlfriend Nancy Wheeler broke up with him because he was too ‘stupid’ (she didn’t, they just weren’t very compatible in the end but he doesn’t realise this yet) so after hearing that she’s going to Harvard Law he decides that this is the perfect way to show everyone that he is smart and hey if it makes Nancy change her mind about dating him then he won’t stop her

In place of the Delta Nu squad the kids Steve babysits come in to help him study, they’re all little geniuses anyway, especially Dustin (who is not his favourite, he doesn’t play favourites), and with their help he passes his LSAT and gets in, his dad who is just happy that his son is finally doing something ‘respectable’ is happy to pay for Steve once he’s in

Steve turns up and it becomes clear to everyone apart from him that he Does Not Fit In but he manages to bump into Nancy (you go into Harvard Law?) and it turns out she’s dating someone else now, her new boyfriend Johnathan is also a student at Harvard

(they’re kinda Warner and Vivian but I don’t want them being mean so they’re just maybe slightly stand offish because this guy that Nancy dated in college is suddenly at Harvard and is that not slightly weird to anyone else? Plus I want Steve and Johnathan being friends by the end cause if they’re not getting it in canon they deserve it here)

Steve’s first class is with Professor Hopper who kicks him out after embarrassing him in front of the rest of the class and some asshole called Jason suggested he be removed and this is where he meets Eddie for the first time, Eddie sees this random guy angrily muttering to himself and he also immediately can tell he doesn’t fit in, just like Eddie doesn’t, so he decides to be nice and offer him so advice, he tells him that Hopper isn’t always like that, gives him tips on how to impress in his class, tells him Professor Byers likes when you speak up and Owens is nice but he spits a little

(Eddie is smart like I just know he is and here he’s driven to study because he wants to work in family law and work with domestic violence/abuse victims because he spent his entire childhood watching his dad being a grade A asshole until he was eventually moved to live with his Uncle who he’s planning on buying a swanky new house when he wins his first big case etc but that doesn’t mean he fits in at Harvard, he got in on his smarts but also a long list of scholarships and his ripped jeans and leather jacket stand out against the designer, muted clothes a majority of the other students wear)

Steve is grateful for the advice from this random but kind (and cute) student but their meeting is cut short when Nancy and Johnathan approach him after class, Steve spirals a little and this is when he finds Robin’s coffee shop (unless you think she’d work at a hair salon or something but I thought coffee worked better for them), they fall into a grand friendship and Steve watches as Robin gazes longingly at the cute UPS girl (Chrissy or Vickie, whichever floats your boat) and *insert boobies conversation here*

With Robin’s encouragement and Eddie’s help Steve actually progresses really well in his classes and even Nancy Wheeler is impressed when he verbal smacks down Jason in *Callahan equivalent*’s class (idk who Callahan would be so take your pick) and Steve, Nancy, Johnathan and Jason (ew) are picked to intern on a big case

Idk who Brooke would be or what the case is but maybe something to do with family law because I feel like that’s the sort of thing Steve would be interested in, he’s dealt with parental neglect his whole life and he watched Max having to go through court proceedings when she was younger etc and he’s seen how passionate Eddie is about it and he’s a little inspired

If you’re following the musical instead of taking Eddie to the mall for a makeover Steve takes him to a hair salon to properly do his hair and it is so, so soft after

idk if here Steve is sexually assaulted by his professor like Elle or if it’s something else, perhaps outed against his will, it kinda depends on the year it’s set in and who Callahan is but something shitty happens to him and he decides to go home ‘because who is he kidding’ but when he goes to say goodbye to Robin she smacks him across the back of the head and is like don’t be a dingus you got this and Hopper, who happens to be getting coffee as well agrees and so Steve charges back to the courtroom

If it is a similar court case to Brooke’s in the film then I lowkey want Billy to be the daughter equivalent because imagine he gets caught because he perms his mullet lmao)

But happy ending, Steve and Eddie are in love, Robin gets her UPS girl, Nancy and Johnathan graduate with Steve and Jason doesn’t, Eddie wins his first big case and buys Wayne that house and the kids road trip to Boston to come annoy Steve

Okay Hannigram and Spideypool fam, who will allow me to tempt them over to Klive in The Umbrella Academy fandom? We are way too small, and in need of fresh blood. Let me whisper in your ear about why it's awesome! Just look at this grouchy old murderbaby and his pansexual gnc disaster brother???

One's a 58 year old time travelling assassin stuck in his 13 year old body, the other's an immortal conduit to the other side and occasional accidental and reluctant cult leader!

Let's talk about the fact that as soon as Five reappeared after having been missing for 15 years, he takes a break in the middle of his Very Important 'The Apocalypse is Coming' lecture for this exchange: (and how I adore the rest of their siblings being, "wait, can we go back to the whole the apocalypse is happening in a week thing, pls")

Both have some serious PTSD -- Five from being trapped alone in the apocalypse for 45 years then being forced to be an assassin traveling through time killing innocent people. Klaus for a whole boat load of spoilery reasons, but lets say having ghosties haunting him his entire life is a good starting point, and then accidentally serving in Vietnam and losing his first love in the process is a good starting point, but really only the tip of the iceburg...But that's okay, they deal with it in totally healthy ways--by drinking to excess, doing lots of drugs, and never talking about their trauma!

But they get up to wacky hijinks, go on road trips, sing romantic duets, and occasionally open up to each other and have a totally adorable tendency to talk at the same time and reaching the same conclusions <3

Plus, look at these adorable babies!!! Prickly little Five letting baby Klaus hang all over him! Clearly they were crushing hard on each other as kids.

And now some recs! I haven't read a lot because I am working on a long fic, and I don't like being influenced by similar stories. However, there are some great ones I've come across!

Soft Sixties by sarkywoman - Lovely season 2 AU where Klaus and Five stick together when they time travel to the 60s, and end up a few years earlier than most of the rest of the gang (like Klaus in the show). It's sexy and sweet and domestic, with great characterisation.I really love Five's unwillingness to lose what he's got, no matter what lengths he has to go to, and how Klaus is all in with him. (I recommend all their stuff tbh, love how they write this ship!) An Unlikely Pair by Schattenmalerin - Pre-canon teenaged Klive. Sadly unfinished, but what's there is really, really great. They have a great dynamic, with precocious Klaus fully aware of what's going on between them, while genius but innocent Five is a little slower catching on. Takes place when their relationship is starting to go from the innocent puppy love stage to the burgeoning awareness of their sexual attraction to one another. I really wish there was more of this *le sigh*

Easy and impossible by Softestsweetestlove - Super sexy and hot season 3 fic with bed sharing and dirty talk. Make sure to read the follow up, as well as all the rest of their stuff. I simply adore how they write these two, with Klaus desperately horny for Five, and Five feeling safe and comfortable with Klaus.

And the couple short fics I've written so far (both for kinktober, so you know, kinky porn):

In the Palm of Your Hands - Post season 3, siblings all living together, Klaus decides to start getting his tattoos done again and is left unable to use his hands for certain things...he and Five have been flirtatiously toeing the line in the next step of their relationship, and Five decides to cross on over and lend a hand. (Kinks - autoerotic asphyxiation, breathplay, body modification, masturbation-ish)

Need to Hear You Say - post season 3 curtain fic with lots of sex. Just wanted to write some fluffy, uncomplicated established relationship with exploring kinks. It was supposed to be short and sweet and got away from me... Not OCs, but canon chars from Bionicle (because blorbos are already known and it's easier to work with for me), alternative timeline au (i don't know why I keep doing that, i always do that).

Waaaay before main events, but just before Teridax's first "mistake" tm. That is also before Helryx has to start fixing all that. Everyone is a robot, and love is not official. Teridax is the (soon to be) big bad, who wants respect and to be in control. He is also a Makuta which translates to enigmatic badass guardian race of crazy clever scientists in this fandom's world. Aka very feared even when they were still the good guys. Helryx is the first Toa (warrior-guard robot) to be built for this world and is the equalient of a very angry hobbit empowered with tallness and elemental magic/power. She knows a LOT of stuff and leads the secret organization of "fix shit, keep people alive and stop the universe from falling apart". Both T and H are Tired tm.

Teridax and Helryx in the canon do not meet until the very end of the story and at that point there is no bridging the rift between the two. They are at each other's throats. In this story however, when Helryx is supposed to deal with the fallout of an impending worldwide catastrophy everywhere else and Teridax is planning to put a bloody stop to the reason of said catastrophy at the source, they meet by chance. Before the their intended story twist. And they both meet at their lowest.

There are no big emotions, just soreness and suspicion. At the time Helryx gives the impression of a codeless brigant and Teridax sounds no more than a calculating bastard. A very depressed and disillusioned one at that and that stops Helryx for a moment. They later talk, then the massacre that happened in canon does not come to pass. Because he had a second opinion and was strongarmed to talk with the locals. The two strike an agreement, and Helryx decides to stick around when Teridax is appointed to be the official overseer of the region. And they talk more.

As time and a few other calamities pass behind them, they bicker and come to more agreements. Both have too many secrets. Helryx is abrasive, doesn't follow her intended warrior code, still she has a strong moral compass. Teridax is irritable, meticulously scheming, with the patience of mountains. But he lacked a candid connection that neither feared or revered him. And Helryx appreciates the wanton care that Teridax pours even into the simplest task or conversation. They grow around each other's presence and find comfort in the similarities of their hardships.

They rebuild a city, beat up a dragon and survive a panidemic. Then they kiss (15 years. I waited 15 years to write this). And while they are all love-dovey and domestic, I rock their fucking boat with the baggage they neatly stuffed under the rug. Ding-dong weirdos!! Teridax's first draft of world-mination plan is at the door and Helryx's secret life and trust issues are right behind! Who ordered the pepperoni pizza?

Now that is some juicy relationship building and I actually am a bit familiar with the worldsetting! And nothing wrong with blorbo romances too! I enjoy those a lot myself as a fellow fanfic writer! I really like the build-up you have and the hurt/comfort that is found in this! Gives a lot more depth to the relationship, not just throwing it in "and then they were in love"! It delicious build-up! Most superb and it sounds like you are really invested in this story and characters! Keep it up you!

I dunno if it's okay to include the OC ships. I'm assuming it is because that technically counts as non canon and considering you're saying on this blog specifically, of course I'm gonna.

(Ranked from Most Fave to Least Fave)

Number 1 - Daximus. This ship makes me FERAL, I fucking love them. Arguably the healthiest ship on this blog, too. Like Daniela and Max have open communication, they cater to each other, there's no feeling of "One protects the other", they put in equal effort. (Plus their Start Point to Relationship timeline is my favourite)

Number 2 - Zia. A classic. Two women just trying to live their lives during/after a horrifically traumatic event. I love this ship. It's full of angst and major hurt/comfort. I have so many thoughts about it. Plus I just think Mia and Zoe are cute together and I'm upset they don't really get to speak to one another in canon. (I like to think they were talking while Lucas had them tied up in the boat house).

Number 3 - Miacina. The classic. The ship that started me on this crusade and still goes hard. Love it. It's cute, it's sweet, and I think Alcina deserves a wife and so does Mia. I forget… why I started shipping them, but that doesn't matter. Has kind of a strange "Beauty and the Beast" vibe imo. Also lets Mia have a bit of a corruption arch (very attractive) (On par with Zia, but slightly lower)

Number 4 - Belena. Adorable, beautiful, they deserve happiness. I know they kind of just exist in the background of things, but I really do love the pair. I feel like they're the most "domestic fluff" of all the ships. Which is probably why they don't get brought up much (considering the blog runs on angst and I just haven't thought up any good Bela or Elena angst in a while)

Number 5 - Mecassa. Again, adorable, very sweet, I love the "Tough bitch is emotional for her smol girlfriend" thing. This one's the lowest because... I dunno. I guess I haven't thought about them a lot. Still love it, though. (Canadian AU Mecassa is THRIVING in my head more than Main AU Mecassa. No I don't know why.)

3/? 5. Who made the first move and what were the circumstances?6. How did Eames and Arthur first meet? Are you of the 'Met in the military' boat? I love that scenario personally but I'm also quite fond of the idea that Eames was in the dreamshare business before arthur & met him when arthur was first introduced to dreamshare so maybe arthur was green when it came to the business & wide eyed & eager to learn & didn't have all his defences up yet... & maybe that becomes a point of contention later

5. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Eames is the socially conservative one. In my head at least, he's quite reserved until he's not, and not a born risk-taker - that being said, I imagine Eames makes the first move in a burst of anger/worry/concern. It's a risk he takes because his he's played it safe and now his hand is forced.

Maybe he and Arthur are in a getaway car, speeding away from a job gone south and when it comes to Arthur he's not suave, he's raw and craggy and he's so mad about something and there Arthur is, slouched in the passenger seat, casually typing away at his phone with one hand while the other is bleeding and broken and Eames just can't stop talking. Somehow, Arthur is the one injured but it's Eames who feels like he has an open wound that wont stop festering. They start bickering as soon as the car starts. It grows more heated and eventually Eames sees red, swerves the car and pulls over onto the side of the road. They get out of the car and get real close to each other and start yelling. Fingers are pointed and low-blow insults are hurled, they get physical and start to push and grapple with each other, until Eames takes Arthur by the hips and shoves him hard against the car, pinning him there. He still can't shut up, still in survival mode, and now he's saying things like you're the most irresponsible person I've ever met, look at you, and Arthurs like, that's rich coming from someone like you, and Eames is seething, says, I should have left you behind, and Arthur is like, yeah well why didn't you, asshole, and boom, before you know it their bodies are pressed together and harshly cupping each other by the back of the neck as if they might shake apart otherwise, foreheads pressed together, sharing breath and Eames whispers because I can't, I fucking can't and the Arthur replies, voice shredded, I know, I know because he does know that neither of them ever could, and suddenly they're dropping their gazes at each others lips, inching closer together without realising and ---

6. Okay okay okay as a reader I LOVE 'met in the military AUs', love that sense of history, that connection they share - but I also LOVE the idea they met in different circumstances too. What is so amazing about all these characters and fandom is the different castles we build on the canon breadcrumbs we are given.

It's always stuck out and been very telling to me that Arthur in the film refers to Eames as a thief first, instead of a forger. Like. They're about to attempt Inception, an 'impossible' dreamshare feat and Cobb mentions Eames' name to bring on board. Straight up, Arthur says try someone else, there are plenty of good thieves - not there are plenty of good forgers. To me, that says Eames', when it comes to Arthur in a professional capacity, has been one overwhelmingly who steals either from them or for them, and his capacity as a forger is only an afterthought.

One of my favourite fics ever that illustrates this is The Material Life of the Californian Suburb by eleveninches where Arthur is just a normal dude and returns to a perfectly normal life after the Fischer job and converts Eames into domesticity/legality. It's so fucking sweet and funny and perfectly believable to me. This pretty much aligns with one of my ultimate fave origins for them - I think Eames had dipped his toes into dreamshare before Arthur, but I think they met via Eames's other line of business first. I actually have a WIP about this where Eames stole a PASIV from the Cobbs with an intent to sell it, came across where Arthur is working in a coin laundry and stashed it there momentarily ---and the rest is history etc etc. One day I might finish it 😂

Adventure Time:

Interludes- Drabble collection written to fill in some canon Chapters 1/? A collection of short stories set within the show canon meant to fill in some gaps. Basically, a dumping ground for little in-universe drabbles.

Brave New World- Pre-Canon fic exploring Marceline and the Hyoomans Chapters: 1/? The others thought she was crazy, but Jo knows that the Mainland wasn't a hellscape. Sure, it was rough around the edges, but it was chock-full of adventures and land ripe for the claiming. With nothing but a boat, muddled memories, and her old bunny hat, she was ready to face whatever waited for her outside the islands.

I'd Know You in Any World (Series):

Blast Off- Set-up fic for the series Chapters 2/2 Finn, Bubblegum, and Jake need to take the Farmworld Enchiridion back to its home, lest a GOLB situation happens again. However, as the trio is about to learn, finding one dimension in the massive cosmic sea is much easier said than done.

Adventure Time with Marcy the Human- Human AU (for some) When the trio finds themselves in a strangely familiar place with profoundly unfamiliar people, they realize they've been blown off course much faster than they anticipated. To take another shot, they'll need the greatest minds of the dimension, some royal gems, and more than a little vampire blood.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power:

The Vessel AU (Series)

She’s Gone- Canon Divergence in which the BFS loses hard Oneshot Convinced that she’s dead, the Best Friend Squad returns to Etheria without Catra. However, without her influence, Adora fails to forge a stable connection with She-Ra, and Prime destroys the planet. With most of her friends gone and an empty heart left in their wake, Adora is consumed by a need for revenge, intent on hunting Prime to the edges of the universe and destroying his mysterious “new form” before he can hurt anyone else.

Rest for the Wicked- Fic about Adjusting to physical and mental trauma Oneshot Catra feels empty. She can't decide if it's a good or bad feeling.

But they are perhaps the most peaceful. It is just her, her shovel, and her gun. And the zombies, of course, but they rarely bother her. Only when they got truly hungry would they attack one of their own.

Bitten- Bubbline Zombie Apocalypse AU Chapters 1/4 Bonnie's world is Marceline, and when Marcy is bitten by an Oozer, nothing can keep Bonnie from tracking down a cure. Luckily, it seems like the only thing in her way is that angry catgirl and the blonde dumbass.

so the twins are rikki and nikki’s kids. i’d say they’re the youngest of all the fankids but like the fankids stuff is so like. their ages are just kinda stuck in that nebulous “cartoon age stays the same” sorta boat if you know what i mean so it’s just whatever. typically when i draw them or talk about them they’re like. babies or toddlers though.

anyway their names are chanel and armani, though chanel is usually just called her nickname, coco. as with all my fankids they solely exist in my some guys AU, which is just a typical domestic AU (check my description for a link to a page with all my AUs to learn more about the AU specifically), but tbh there is a chance i might make them “canon,” just depending on how the film wraps up the worldbuilding.

coco is the older twin by a couple of minutes, but tbh it doesn’t matter much, i don’t think it really ever plays into their dynamic. coco is a lot more shy and unsure of things compared to the rest of her family. she likes typically girly things like dress-up, and while both the twins are spoiled by rikki, you can tell he like. definitely spoils her. that’s his princess she can get whatever she wants etc etc. she can get overwhelmed easily but she can pretty quickly be calmed by her parents. she loves spending time with all of them and likes to be in charge of playtime, often being the one to tell armani and whichever/both parents what they’re gonna play.

armani is a lot more outgoing and very reminiscent of his dad in terms of energy. he goes with the flow a lot better than rikki does, though, and doesn’t try to actively fight against things. rikki himself has a strained relationship with his own father, so when it comes to his dynamic with his own son, he’s definitely (but unconsciously) in the mindset of like “i’m going to be the father i wished i had,” so he’s always supporting whatever armani’s doing. armani likes running around and roughhousing but can and will eventually run out of energy and crashes pretty easily. tbh both the twins are like their mom and love naps. rikki’s the outlier in that one :/ but he makes for a good pillow

* B2- Pets - wrote up a surprise fill – Reluctant Four Footed Heroes – inspired by a round of square interpretation during the BBB Discord party. Stucky domestic shenanigans with Alpine & Dodger. This ficlet is coming in at 217 words and will post on the 27th.

* A4 - Fairy Tale Curse - this seems custom-made for a continuation of Beyond the Beast😁 Nothing written yet, other than some Vague Ideas. It’s fighting me at the moment and am not sure this is going to make it after all.

* C2 - Meet Ugly - Finished up Deck the Halls - a No Powers AU holiday fic that crosses over with my Winter Break Advent calendar prompt Day 1: Putting Up Holiday Decorations at the Hospital. It’s coming in at 509 words and it will post on Friday.

* C3 - FREE - Filled this with Chapter 2 of Half of the Flesh and Blood That Makes Me Whole - a Bucky POV remix of at least the first part of Take What Was Wrong (And Make it Right). It came in at 1362 words.

* C5 - Marriage of Convenience/Pretend Couple - next chapter of Lady Natasha’s Consort and Lord Steve’s Companion. Got a spark of an idea the other day that might get me a bit further on this fic.

Do you think Belial ever just flies for fun/ to show off/ prank people/ take a fight to the sky and gain advantage through an aerial battle?

I can definitely see him offering to take the captain for a joyride (not like that, though he offers that as well) and then constantly threaten to drop them to be a dick

Bonus points to them not even being impressed by that, since they get yeeted by bad guys every other day

I think it depends how much Belial can fly without showing his wings and/or if he is comfortable with releasing his wings often.

Considering the whole... debate about how he's hiding his wings because they're unsighty, for instance.

I think in most cases, at least at the point he is in canon, he'd be the type to keep his wings for the element of surprise in general, not showing that he can fly easily unless he needs to unleash his power or escape.

But honestly i also really like the idea that he might be floating around without thinking too hard about it in general? Like something about how it's so intricately a part of him that sometimes floating a bit is just like breathing to him.

And in our domestication AU, i would love the idea of him pranking people with the use of his wings.

.... i think he would fake his suicide again on dramatic reasons on the boat once in a while like. Someone lectures him or something and he rests his back on the rail of the ship and he starts being so dramatic about how he cannot escape his nature, to be a monster, and he should probably leave them all be, and then he lets himself fall over from the ship. And the first time he does that everyone panics and runs to see over the railing, only to see him fly just underneath, while laying down in the air and his arms and legs crossed before going "lol just kidding ;) ". But then he does it again and again and eventually Danchou is just. *dead eyes* "he'll come back." and then Belial comes back like 5mins later, all pouty that no one came to check on him.

When it comes to battle, i totally think he'd fly around for tactical advantage, especially since it's what he did in the very first fight we had with him.

And the imagery of him taking MC on joyride and threatening to drop them but MC being unfazed because it's just another thursday for them is cracking me the fuck up. At some point I could see MC drop "yeah Sandalphon did it to me once and i haven't exactly been feeling threatened by it since" and Belial has to wrestle with the fact Goody Goody Sandy did that to their precious Captain, and the fact he had a similar idea to Sandalphon, and also "damn Singularity you're lucky you're alive." "i hear that often." (and then he'd want to drop you to prove that he can finish the job where Sandalphon didn't but if we domesticate him enough he will hold back on that thought.)

So yeah, personally i think Belial has the personality to be overusing flying around just because, but it depends imo on how much it requires him spreading his wings. If he can float a bit without using his wings i think he would be overusing the hell out of it. If he really just needs his wings, he'll be more sparse in his uses.

But he'd definitely fly around to cause problems on purpose <3
