The Centenary Chapter Masters Convention is held in the most boring corporate hotel on Terra. What goes down?

Dante goes to bed at 8pm sharp, citing the importance of a good sleep. Helbrecht calls him an old fogey. Dante punches Helbrecht in the kidneys so hard one of them disintegrates. He then goes to bed. Marneus and Dessian nod sagely at this violently concise dedication to punctuality. Asterion and Gabriel laugh and point as Helbrecht curls up on the floor holding his stomach.

Tu’shan has taken all of the mini-fridges from the rooms and arranged them into a bar. He’s using the contents of them to make flaming drinks for everyone (he smuggled a butane torch in). He has to gently hand some of them under the “bar”, in the recessed parts of the fridges, because Shrike is lurking there.

Jubal and Tyberos are on a couch off to the side. They’re actually having a very pleasant, quiet conversation about the best way to clean servomotors.

Kardan Stronos is glaring at them from the corner for daring to have a discussion on servomotors without him. A Custodian is glaring at Kardan from the doorway for daring to besmirch holy Terra with his dour expressions.

there's two types of hunters in this universe. there's the (comparatively) refined upper class elitist ivory traders who have all the fancy tech and gear but none of the species know-how.

and then there's. this guy. part-time VCR repairman and full-time vampii destroyer except he hasn't ever killed one yet. has spent his entire life learning as much as he can about them, has a scrapbook of newspaper headlines and articles. builds his own weapons. has gone to the news networks on several occasions only to be unceremoniously thrown out. always gets the last laugh when he watches a segment about someone going missing or being found as a partially eaten corpse floating in their backyard pool in an active vampii territory. (he's not laughing at the murder but it comes across that way. he has driven off countless roommates.) his origin story is that his best friend when he was 14 missed his birthday party because he got vampii'd the night before. all he wants to do is track them down and confront them about why they thought that was an okay excuse to miss his birthday party. would have to team up with the ivory traders at some point if they actually wanted to get anything done but in doing so they would get nothing done. a comedy of errors

But like all superheroes, they have a secret identity when they're not flying over the skyscrapers and clouds. For they're one of MC's best friends when they're not wearing their golden tights and cape.

Supervillain|Azrael|Shadow Manipulation|29

The nemesis of Hyperion and the dreaded supervillain of Eden Park. The dark shadows that always followed them caused dread within the populace, their black visage making all fear of what could come next. It would make sense that the top supervillain and superhero would be such polar opposites despite being former partners in justice years ago. But regardless of their issues with Hyperion, they're willing to put that aside monetary for their best friend,MC, who doesn't know their identity.

A reporter in the biggest newspaper in the city. They're not the lead reporter in their division, but are still well known for picking up facts and happenings in the cities like a bloodhound. Often, they disappear for days investigating a lead even if it seems frivolous or a red herring. One of these trips lead them to discovering a strange rumbling in their city which will spell trouble for everybody whether they're civilians, superheroes, or villains. Which led them to MC, their most trusted source within the police department.

The mechanic and engineer of the items used by the superheroes stationed in Eden Park. But they're mainly known as the sidekick of Hyperion despite being considered a unpowered person. Tyro is often having to keep everything in check when their partner is doing their thing, mostly helping with evacuations and dealing with lower thugs. However, they're often overlooked due to the extravagance of Hyeprion's actions. But they often find some solace in their fellow unpowered, MC, even if they feel something off about the officer.

Music plays softly in her earbud as she walks down the street toward her apartment complex. Tomorrow, she'd show up to Kidd Records and hope she still had a job there. If she didn't, it would be going back to the Pink Paradise and begging to take back her two week notice until she could figure it out. Once she told Julian about her place, he was on board. Even told her to thank Dante for getting her an out because he never understood why she would do that to herself. The blonde she met earlier making her realize she shouldn't be hiding the fact she's trying to be sober. What was wrong with that? She glances down to her phone, clicking the skip button.

She turns the corner to the apartment complex, reaching into her bag to pull out her keys. She reaches out and grabs the front door and walks in, heading up the stairs. She looks down at her keys, shuffling through them to grab the one for her apartment. She lifts her eyes up to see Dante standing outside her door, his hand raising up to knock but pausing before making contact. She almost goes to hide behind a wall but he turns around and catches her standing there instead. She reaches up and takes one of her earbuds out. "Hi."
