Siblings of the Storm
Pyrrha was worried, and rightfully so. Jaune Arc her team leader. Her partner. her secret crush was acting off. He was not being his normally good natured goofy self. He was being subdued, almost if he was expecting something unpleasant to happen. In short he was not being the young man she was falling for.
"Jaune is something bothering you?" Pyrrha asked while wringing her hands with nervous energy. The pair were taking a walk along Beacon's gardens. Just a little trip to be away from everyone else for a little bit.
"No, I feel great Pyr!" Jaune asked taking a look at Pyrrha. His brows furrowing when he noticed her nervous nature. "I should be asking you that. What's up Pyrrha?"
"It's not..."
"Pyr... I can see something is bothering you. You can tell me." Jaune gave Pyrrha that disarming smile of his "I'll always be here for you."
"Ah... um... it's just that... huh"
"Pyrrha?"
"You don't seem yourself."
"What? Of course I'm me! Who else would I be?" Jaune smirked and tried to laugh off Pyrrha's comment, but he suddenly stopped. His smile vanishing, as the a gentle breeze began to blow.
"Jaune?"
"Joan..." Pyrrha help in he gasp of shock at the hardness of Jaune's once deep and loving azure eyes. "Why are you here?"
"To settle the score..." came a female voice off to their right. "You ran before we could..."
"I left, that means you won. You are the one..." Pyrrha turned to face the voice, and found herself basically looking at a female version of Jaune.
"You know..." the gentle breeze grew in strength becoming a slightly gusting wind. "... that's not how it works!"
"It is now!" Jaune snapped as he stepped away from Pyrrha, a grimace on his face. "I'm done with the competition! You've won!"
"NO!" The wind picked up further, and began to buffet the area, and while Pyrrha had to brace herself against it's growing strength... Jaune and Joan didn't. They both stood there as if nothing was happening. "We PROMISED each other to see this through!"
"So what?" Jaune snapped. "You tracked me down just to continue our stupidity? We we're children! Stupid immature children!"
"It doesn't matter!" Joan shouted back as the winds truly grew vicious, tossing about debris, and forcing anyone like Pyrrha who was outside to brace themselves lest they be bowled over. "Yes we were kids, but we've always known!"
"Jaune?" Pyrrha tried to yell, but her voice was stolen by the cutting strength of the growing winds.
"I'm won't..."
"I'm not winning like this!"
Pyrrha stumbled backwards as a golden light enveloped Jaune and his apparent twin sister...

"Jaune?" Pyrrha stuttered out as she did her damnedest to stay close by, let alone standing.
