Thanks to @lovelylonerliterature for tagging me!!
These aren't really in order and they will for sure change in the future but for now these are my choices.
My favourite Redacted Audios (SFW)
1. I know I said they're not in order but "Going all the way with your Vampire Mate" is on the top of my list. Not only is the full patreon video out this world, but I think I like the video in itself because of Sam's words. He said that he's not a poet but I beg to differ. I love him so much and him and Darlin's relationship and bond grew so much stronger through that video. I listen to it A LOT.
2. I'm also obsessed with "Sleepy morning cuddles with your Tsundere Werewolf Boyfriend." David is one of my favourites so I feel like I love all his videos equally. I think this is a whole video dedicated to him and how soft he can actually be despite him having been very gruff before that specific video. I think it really gives us the overall vibe of him and Angel's relationship and sums it up perfectly.
3. Third of my list has to go to "Your Demon Finally Tells you the Truth." There is no way that I can speak of this that makes sense. Its just a fucking masterpiece. I didn't really connect with Avior as a character before that and I always felt like something might shift with the story because of how much of a slowburn it was. It broke my heart and made me realize that I will never love anything more than Erik's storytelling. It's always been something I can never really shut up about.
4. "Trapped in An Elevator with a Sweet Werewolf." Dare I say more? The video made me fall in love with Ash and the way he and Babe connected right away. Though Sam's video is first, this one is in my top 5 for sure.
5. And five, "Unwinding after a Long Day with Your Chaotic Pizza Guy Boyfriend." There's not much to say except that I don't think I will ever feel the amount of happiness that that video brought me.
Honourable mentions go to "Tsundere Werewolf Boyfriend Breaks down" for davey because how raw he is and the way Erik handles grief so brilliantly. It also shows how much he and Angel are there for each other.
Also, can't forget to mention Aaron with "Your Tsundere Boss Boyfriend wants to Talk." I love Aaron and Ollie with all my heart but I think this video stood out to me because of the important conversation that needed to he had. People can learn from this- THAT is how you talk to your partner when yall don't agree on something.
Sorry, this was a long rant.
I'm tagging @teaseat @daveysangelsposts @samsdarlin and @ashs-stars if you guys wanna share with us your top 5 Redacted videos <3

Okay, wow, never in my life did I think a music video involving giving Satan a lap dance would delve into a conversation about gay rights ( and how gay men are portrayed in media ), but Lil Nas X broke the world with MONTERO, so here I am. We’ve got three things here that I think are important - Internet culture, religion, sexuality. These are the things that I think people are getting too uptight over/not upset enough over, and I wanna rant for a bit, so bear with me on this one.
First, I LOVED MONTERO. I’m a whore for religious imagery/theming/etc. being used in media, and as a former Christian and an openly gay woman, it makes me very happy to see it used in a spiteful manner. MONTERO was gorgeous - sexual, unapologetic, and so clearly pulling straight from Biblical stories. The religion used commonly against us ( here in the US, at least, because I know other religions can be just as oppressive, if not worse, and Christianity isn’t the dominant religion everywhere ) being used in a way that’s expressive of our lives is beautiful. The very clear message of “Oh, I’m going to hell? That’s okay,” is perfect - for so many LGBT people in this country, we’ve been told that we’re condemned to eternal punishment because of something we can’t help. LNX took that in stride and made it art, with MONTERO and the video. I am in full support of it and will be throwing it on my horny playlist.
But here’s why I think this is so important - MONTERO’s release has exposed, in my opinion, where the real issues lie in Western culture. WAP did this too, a little - both of these songs, and their accompanying videos, were criticized using children. “Children watch you”, “how could you expose kids to this”, etc. were complaints hurled at Cardi B and LNX over their music. And in LNX’s case, people used his previous success with Old Town Road - I saw one tweet saying Old Town Road is “every kid’s anthem”, and that their children love Old Town Road. Which is problematic - how can you complain about MONTERO, but allow your child to listen to a song with lyrics such as “Lean all in my bladder”, “Cheated on my baby, you can go and ask her”, “Bull riding and boobies” - Old Town Road is not a child-friendly song by any means, but LNX didn’t include naked breasts, or ( as far as I’m aware ) market the song in a way that showcased those lyrics. So parents let their children enjoy their funny horse song, never looking into the words their kids were hearing daily. But with MONTERO, because they saw at a glance that it was an issue, they assumed this meant the previously “child-friendly” artist LNX, the man behind the funny horse song, was suddenly trying to indoctrinate their children. When in reality, LNX has never catered to kids. He’s always been open about his music and himself, and it’s entirely the parents’ faults for not better monitoring what media their children take in. It is never the responsibility of the creator to change their content for an audience they didn’t want. MONTERO, and WAP, both exposed just how internet culture has allowed parents an excuse to be lazy, hands-off pieces of shit, and demonize creators further.
MONTERO also exposed how homophobia continues to follow us, in how many comments there were calling LNX predatory, claiming he was indoctrinating children and pushing agendas - and, with Kaitlin Bennet’s actual racist comments, now he’s being slandered. ( if you didn’t see that beef, TLDR: Kaitlin asked “do you still see your dad?” w/ blatant intent to hurt, LNX replied with “yeah and I’ll fuck yours”, to which Kaitlin accused him of threatening to rape her father and several small, conservative ‘journalists’ ran with it ). I don’t like throwing around the word homophobia, but this isn’t new - gay men have been called predatory for a long time and demonized for even small gestures like holding hands. And now, an openly gay man made a video celebrating his sexuality ( which isn’t a new topic: look at any music video from the early 2000s for more examples of people expressing sexuality ) and given fuel to these idiots to continue pushing their narrative of “gay man predator, gay man bad”. Fortunately, it’s a lot less than it would’ve been thirty years ago. But the fact that it still happens on this scale, enough that journalists pick it up as a story, and governors, Candace Owens and other prominent homophobic conservative figures jump on the bandwagon....it’s sad. A man celebrating his sexuality shouldn’t be demonized the way it is, and MONTERO is doing an amazing job at spitting in people’s faces.
Cutting myself short here, I think MONTERO was a gift. It’s a work of art in many ways, but the social response it generated is also a blessing in that it shows what we need to prioritize - which is self responsibility. No one is forcing you to watch the gay man give Satan a lap dance, nor are they forcing you to buy his shoes. No one will ever force you into that - you, a consenting adult/teenager, willingly watched it. You’re reading this now of your own choice. If your child is watching MONTERO, you should blame yourself if you’re mad - why didn’t you monitor them better? Teach them to avoid things they don’t recognize online? You failed as a parent to protect your child from what you deem harmful. That isn’t anyone’s fault except your own as their active guardian.
Sex, talking about sex, grinding, lap dances....those aren’t new to music videos. They’ve been happening for decades, actually - early 90’s and 2000’s videos had a lot, and I think some 80’s had them. MONTERO didn’t invent NSFW music videos, the only difference is it’s gay and dared to use religious imagery ( which also isn’t new, but that’s another rant I don’t want to get into ). For once, I actually agree with the masses - this outrage was mostly fueled by homophobia and dumb Christians. And to any Christians reading this ( that didn’t get offended, because if you got genuinely upset by this drama, fuck you ); you’re cool.
Anyways, yeah. I think MONTERO was awesome, LNX killed it as always, and I hate conservatives. Goodnight.

"Analysis on Angel"
A deeper look into Angel (From my perspective)
Or a rant about why I want more David comfort videos.
Okay first to say that I see the listeners to be a character on their own, I like it more when they have unique personalities and not just like a camera that sees everything and does little to nothing. I like when they have different personalities that distinguish them as characters.
I have to admit I am bias since the first video that got me to redacted I believe it's (If memory serves me right it's the sleepy cuddles from Davey) but what got my attention wasn't only David but "Angel" as well, the way that they teased him and how David reacted to it made me have interest. Which was weird because usually that doesn't happen.
So with that out of the way lets dive a little into Angel.
Angel (From my perspective seeing the videos) is one of the strongest listeners in the channel emotionally speaking, not a lot of people would take an interest and stay with David in the early days, even I would have kicked his ass in his valenweek video. I understand that it was his way to deal with things but he could be outright mean in that time and If it were in real life, a lot of us would have left him.
Even David, if memory serves me right, says in his reverse comfort video said that Angel was able to see through his bullshit and call him out on it. Angel has been able to break that hard exterior he had little by little and that has to take some kind of emotional strength, but that doesn't stop the insecurities that they have as we can see in "Your werewolf boyfriend wont shift for you" when they ask David if they aren't too warm to be laying on him after he complain about it.
Angel is prepared to be with David as much as he needs them, in his aftershock video they get him to agree to eat something because they know that David is feeling so much guilt that he's neglecting himself.
Angel is the rock that David needs and that's evident.
I like David but I can't help but feel intrigue by Angel as a character, how they got to be such an emotional strong person? what their backstory is: we know that they used to own a cat, that their exe's name is Michel and (As someone pointed out in the comments of the video of the sun solstice) may or may not have a good relationship with their father since they forgot about father's day, they probably have insomnia and doubts about themselves in a lot of things (For example their cooking or how much they help David) I would like to see more to their relationship from their point of view.
Milo's anxiety video is the perfect example of that; we get to see another parts of the listeners; their vulnerability. Their human side.
In total David only has 2 videos were he's directly the one comforting: The comfort storm video and the sleep aid audio. 2 videos from 25 (Excluding inversion) Don’t get me wrong I love all of David's videos but I think I would like to see more of David's soft side when he's caring for Angel or getting to talk about Angel's feelings. Explore them as a character as well, David is soft and caring when it's about Angel and his comfort audios are just perfect.

Hey so!!
It's Angel's day off and David has work
So when David comes home in the evening for a break and sees Angel sleeping on the bed
Then he wakes them up (like in a cute and gentle and fuzzy and warm way)
And Surprises angel on a lunch date
BTW did you see the last video
I'm so glad David and asher are alive!
Also Vincent and Sam!
And hux and damien!!
But lovely is a vamp now (I think it's good cause now Vincent and lovely can stay together ❤
Now I can't wait for the Aftershock vids
What are your thoughts about the last vid of inversion?? :)
At Home Lunch Date
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I WAS AT THE PREMIERE AND WAS SUCH A RECK OF EMOTIONS!
My thoughts....to many to write down that for fucking sure. Main ones though are about FL and Gavin telling Hux about Xavier's death, Lovely turning into a vampire, how David is gonna handle everything since he was the one who out the wards up, and how Milo is handling having a magic overload. I am so excited (and scared) for Aftershock. (There's a lot of stuff I wanna rant about so if you wanna talk Inversion you definitely can)
BUT THIS REQUEST IS SO CUTE! I feel like this would be around the beginning of their relationship, like when they moved into a apartment together. So I hope you like it!
༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄༄
The afternoon sun peaked through the curtains of the window across from the couch Angel had come home from work before David and decided to take a nap before he came home. It was supposed to be just one short, little nap, not them sleeping for most of the afternoon. David had came home from a pack meeting with client to find his partner asleep on the couch. He chuckled softly to himself as he looked at them. They looked so cute while they rested. He decided to change into something a little more comfortable.
Once he had done that he checked his phone to see what time it was. "2:14. Angel might want something to eat when they wake up." Did Angel want to each out? Or did they maybe want something David made them? David walked back to back into the apartment living room to check on Angel. Still sleeping, their faced squished up against a throw pillow and and the couch cushions. David didn't have the heart to wake them up just to take them out and then to interact with people. So he decided to make something for them.
Heading to the kitchen, David started cooking lunch. The apartment started to smell like different types of seasoning that soon started to blend together. Yet, it still didn't wake the sleeping Angel. Once David was done cooking, David plated everything and went over to the couch. He crouched down to Angel's height and gently shook them awake. "Angel. Angel it's time to wake up." David's voice was soft as he ran a hand up and down their back.
Angel slowly began to stir, mumbling softly to David. "C'mon Angel. It's time afternoon. You need to get up." Angel mumbled again before looking up. "Mmmmm. Davey?" They said sleepily. The sound of their groggy voice and their sleepy expression was something that made David's heart swell.
"Hi Angel. I made you lunch." Angel stretched out onto the couch, popping their back before sitting up. "Hi Davey." They had a tired smile on their face as they looked at David. "You made me lunch? Like a lunch date?" David huffed and nodded. "Yes you little shit, like a date." Angel giggled and stretched again. They stood up with David and smiled at him. "Whatever you made smells good."
"Of course it smells good, I made it." Angel snorted and walked to the kitchen. "Whatever Davey. Take me on this lunch date." David rolled his eyes and walked with them. "So whatcha make?" Angel asked. Sitting on the kitchen counter were two plates of pasta. "Awww Davey. You made pasta." Angel wrapped their arms around David's torso. He stumbled and scowled. "Hey! I-" David growled but put his arms around Angel. "You're welcome. Now get off me so you can go eat before it gets cold."

The spiked haired Toppats stopped his ranting and looked over at his partner.
"He is fine. Davey is just always sleepy."
Dave closed his eyes when Rupert stopped yelling and quickly fell alseep

Walls
The first time Davey saw Jack let his walls down, he almost forgot to breathe.
He hadn’t meant to sleep over. They’d gone out with everyone the night before and ended up on Jack’s couch with a few of them, laughing much later into the night than Davey had planned. One by one, everyone else left, until it was only Jack and Davey left, and then Davey fell asleep.
He fell asleep on the couch and didn’t wake up until the sun started coming up. Which, to be fair, had only been a couple of hours.
He woke up because the sun came up in the window and he wasn’t used to sleeping in a room that faced east.
The window in Jack’s living room was the one that attached to the fire escape, and as Davey reoriented himself to where he was, he saw Jack sitting outside.
He was sitting sideways, so Davey could see his profile. His knees were up in front of him so his sketchbook could rest on them.
He had his hair pulled back from his face, tied into a little pigtail that might have been a tiny bun if the ends hadn’t popped loose, and his head bent down so his nose was almost touching the paper as his pencil moved across it.
Davey couldn’t see what he was drawing, but he had the look on his face that he only got when he really liked how it was coming out.
He looked sleepy, even though he was so focused.
Maybe it was the fact that he was wearing baggy plaid pajama pants and an old t-shirt that had paint splatters and bleach marks all over it. The way his hair had obviously been pulled back from bedhead so none of the curls were in his eyes. Maybe it was how relaxed he looked, leaning forward towards his knees to draw.
The window was old, and it had fallen almost shut, so the steam rising from the mug on the windowsill was fogging the very edge of the glass.
He looked at home. Open. Like he was completely being himself and nothing was tucked away where nobody could see it.
He looked beautiful. Like a scene out of a movie, a carefully done painting, a picture on Instagram that nobody really looked like in real life. Except Jack with his messy, curly hair and old, comfy clothes. His cup of tea, his sketchbook, his quiet focus. Was real, completely real, completely Jack.
It was like every wall he’d oh-so-carefully built and oh-so-carefully maintained was down in the soft light from the rising sun.
He looked up after a minute, over at Davey, and for a moment, the walls stayed down.
He smiled, and everything about him stayed soft and open for just barely a second. Davey got a glimpse of a Jack who didn’t hide behind smiles and jokes and who didn’t feel like he had to hide behind smiles and jokes. Who looked at Davey with a simple smile and some gentle emotion in his eyes and there was nothing between them except the window.
And then something shifted, something Davey couldn’t quite pinpoint, and the Jack he knew so well was back. Just a little bit different than the one who had been drawing in the dawn’s light. A little of a different sparkle in his eye, a little shift in his smile that made it feel less open, a little change in posture that made him feel more closed off.
But in that moment of the walls being down, Davey knew two things.
He knew that was in love with Jack Kelly.
And he knew he wanted Jack to let the walls down around him again. To let Davey get to know the pieces of himself he felt the need to hide so carefully.
The second time Davey saw Jack let his walls down was after Davey kissed him.
He had been acting on impulse.
No, not even impulse.
They’d been fighting in the fun way. The way that was Jack’s eyes sparkling and him barely able to keep a straight face, saying more and more ridiculous things to hear Davey’s response. The way that was Davey knowing full well that Jack just wanted to hear him go on a tangent, rant about something he cared about, but playing into anyway, because if he let it go far enough Jack did the thing that Davey loved.
The thing where he got up and had to move around. Bouncing up on tiptoes and swinging his arms and dramatically annunciating every word. Punching the air for emphasis, jumping up onto the ottoman, spinning in circles. Eventually losing it, laughing in his contagious way until he was gasping for breath.
And it had been one of those kinds of nights when Jack was all riled up and had been even before he started trying to get Davey just as hyper.
It was one of those times when Davey was very aware of how much he loved Jack.
He was easy to love, especially when he got like this. His hair was pulled back the way it had been that morning on the fire escape, tied with a bright pink hair tie and struggling to escape the bun it had started as to turn into the little pigtail it wanted to be.
He was jumping around, punching the air, spinning, about to start laughing.
And then he grabbed Davey's hands and pulled him up off the couch and spun him around with him. They whirled through Jack’s living room, Jack still managing to pretend he was fighting with Davey even though it was more like dancing. There was obviously laughter trying to get through.
It was dancing behind Jack’s eyes, trapped behind his teeth, stuck to the tip of his tongue. Charging through the air in the way Jack’s hands moved, the way he twirled Davey around.
And eventually, it escaped into sound, bursting first from Jack and then from Davey until they ended up tumbling onto the couch more like kids at a sleepover than adults spending time together.
When the sound faded, Davey could still feel it in the contact points between them. Where Jack’s legs were thrown across his lap, how Jack was still shaking with a little bit of silent laughter, how Davey was catching his breath, where Jack’s hand was resting on Davey’s arm.
And then they shifted back to sitting up, but the laughter was still there, in the way their arms were pressed together.
And then Jack said something else, something he’d already said, and it turned his shaky, contained laughter back into the loud, uproarious, contagious laughter that had knocked them onto the couch in the first place, and Davey started laughing again too, and Jack curled into a ball and pressed his face into Davey’s shoulder and Davey shifted so he wouldn’t fall with Jack’s weight on him.
And when Jack lifted his head and looked up at Davey, he was smiling and the laughter was still dancing behind his eyes, spinning and flashing and just as contagious as the sound of it had been.
There was still a wall up, though, that Davey could feel just under the laughter. In the way Jack’s smile turned slightly uncertain, slightly nervous or wary when Davey looked down at him. In the way Jack seemed to notice how much contact there was between them suddenly and tense up, a spark of anxiety flashing through the laughter in his eyes.
Davey noticed it, but he still acted not on impulse, he’d later decide.
It wasn’t impulse because it wasn’t random. It wasn’t something Davey thought of on the spot, something he did without thinking at all, because Davey had thought about it. A lot.
He’d thought about kissing Jack more times than he could really count, because it had been months since he’d known he was in love with Jack, and so it had been months since he’d caught himself wondering what it would feel like to bury his hands in Jack’s curls and to kiss him and to hold him close.
So it wasn’t impulse.
And it also wasn’t impulse because it was obvious.
It was obvious when Jack looked up at him with the laughter dancing behind his eyes. It was obvious when the anxiety sparked through them and then disappeared, and when he relaxed again.
It was.
It was obvious, so it wasn’t impulse. It was instinct.
To pause and take in the laughter and to smile back. To lean down. To close the distance.
It was all instinct, down to the press of their lips and the way Davey shifted.
And the way Jack shifted changed things, and Davey’s eyes were closed but he could feel it when Jack’s walls fell down because he relaxed again and pressed closer and kissed Davey back.
And even when he pulled away, Jack’s walls stayed down. His eyes were half shut and there was a half-smile on his face and his fingertips brushed against Davey’s face and he whispered soft, sweet things. One arm wrapped around Davey’s waist and the other traced circles on his back, his arms, traced his jawline, brushed a strand of hair away from his forehead.
It was laughter, still, in the contact points and in the smile on Jack’s face and the openness that was obvious there. It was something else, too, something new, sparking and racing down Davey’s arms and up his spine and through his smile and into his words and breath.
Against his lips when Jack kissed him again. And again. And again.
And still, when Jack pulled back, his walls were gone. He was open. Laughter flashed through his eyes and there was nothing to stop it.
The third time Davey saw Jack let his walls down was harder than the others.
The first time had been quiet and unexpected.
The second had been joyful and fun.
The third was in the dark.
It was quiet, but not sweet.
It was tears. Raspy breath.
Hands twisted in sheets and a forehead pressed hard against Davey’s shoulder.
Whispered insecurities and secrets nobody else got to know because they were too hard to share.
It wasn’t pretty. It wasn’t nice. It wasn’t soft light and gentle smiles, it wasn’t laughter charging through the air.
It was hard. It brought tears to Davey’s eyes that fell and mixed with the tears on Jack’s face as he held Jack close and kissed his hair and whispered anything he could think of to comfort him.
But it was still Jack.
These stories. The hurt and fear. The waking up. Scars and tears and anxiety. All of that was Jack.
It was normally contained. Forced behind walls and pushed into corners and covered up. Hidden behind jokes and laughter and a personality that was Jack, but Jack without the bad, because Jack was scared that if people saw the bad, they wouldn’t want him anymore.
Jack’s walls came down and everything came spilling out and he seemed amazed when all Davey did was pull him closer and kiss his head and promise.
Never to leave. Never to let go because the walls came down. Never to give up on Jack because he loved Jack and he wanted to know these things about Jack because it was Jack, and Davey loved Jack. All of Jack. The corners and walls and hidden away things and all.
And when Jack’s breathing calmed down.
And his hands relaxed.
And his head tucked into Davey’s neck instead of pressing against his shoulder.
Jack whispered, “thank you.”

You’se a scabber now! (Race x reader)
Don’t forget to check out my masterlist for more cool post! Request are open!!
Description: Your family becomes rich and Race is scared that he is going to lose you
“Hey (Y/N) wake up” You groaned as you heard your older brother’s voice
“Go away,” you said groaning slightly “I’m sleepy”
“Dad said he wanted us to meet him in his office today, so you need to get up” your brother let the family butler in your room, so she could pick out your outfit for the day. You sat up yawning loudly and stretching your arms above your head.
“You don’t have to do that Alexandra I can pick my outfit myself,” you said quickly ushering your brother and butler out of your room. “I’ll be ready in 10 minutes” you quickly shut your door. You quickly pick out a dress and slipped it on.
“I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this feeling” you whispered to your self as you brushed your hair.
You weren’t always rich. Your family was quite poor. Your father always wanted to be a pharmacist and make new types of medicine, but with no funding, he couldn’t get the material he needed. Since he couldn’t provide for his family he had to pull your brother and you out of school so you could get jobs. You were only 12 when you got a job as a newsie. You had to admit being a newsie for 4 years was fun, but you always wanted an education and when your dad invented a ground-breaking disinfecting a huge pharmaceutical company hired him and now he makes enough money that you could buy yourself a school.  Even though you could get whatever you wanted you still missed your newsies. They made such an incredible impact in your life and you couldn’t ask for better friends. Especially a certain cigar smoking newsie. Your heart started to speed up just thinking about him.
Race was certainly the newsies that had the greatest impact on you. The first day you arrived to get your papes he was the one that quickly jumped at the opportunity to teach you everything he knew. Without him, you wouldn’t have been able to sell a single pape. He was also the one to cheer you up whenever you were down, and he was always there for you no matter what time of day it was. You showed up at the lodging house once at 3am since you couldn’t sleep because of your parents fighting and he didn’t even bat an eye. He just moved over and let you rest beside him as you ranted to him. He never made you feel uncomfortable and was always the first one to soak anyone who would look at you funny or talk to you in an inappropriate manner. It also didn’t help that you had the hugest crush on the young gambler.
But now you barely ever see him. You’ve been concentrating hard on your schooling. You had a tutor come over to your house to help you catch up. You would work around 9 hours or sometimes even 10 hours a day.
“You almost ready in there? Dad is going to get angry if we show up to late” your older brother said while he banged on your door. You rolled your eyes an opened your door.
“I was barely even 10 minutes” you replied
“Let’s go,” he said while locking his arm with yours leading you outside.
“Can we buy a pape before meeting with dad?” you pleaded with your brother.
“Don’t talk like that” he scowled “You know dad would get mad if he heard you talking like that, especially if it was in front of his new friends.”
“It’s just a word, no need to get mad” you pouted back.
“We have to prove to everyone that we aren’t street rats (Y/N) and it’ll be hard to do that if you keep acting like one” your brother started to sound like your tutor.
“Okay then, can we get a paper then,” you said putting emphasis on the word paper.
“Of course father would probably want to read one as well” you smiled brightly and started leading your brother to your old selling spot.  You knew Race would be there and you couldn’t resist the urge to see that handsome face of his.
As you rounded the corner you could hear Race voice as he shouted headlines that were clearly made up. You waved at Spec and Albert who was a crossed the road just hanging around. They must have already finished selling all their papes.
“One paper please,” your brother said when you reached Race
“Make that two papes please!” your brother’s face scowled as soon as you said ‘papes’ but you couldn’t bring it to care.
Your heart started to pound when Race turned to face you and your brother. He’s as breathtaking as always and you could still detect that faint smell of cigar.
“(Y/N)? is that you?” Race asked surprise, I guess he never really saw you in proper clothing before. Hopefully, he liked it.
“It’s been a while,” you said smiling brightly. Race only nodded as he raised a brow looking at your brother. He seemed mad?
“Here,” you said handing Race 3$ “Keep the change” Race only nodded and handed you the papes not taking his eyes off your brother.
“I was wondering if you maybe wanted to hang out? I know it’s been a while since we’ve seen each other, and I really want to catch up. Do you want to meet up at that cute bakery we use to always go to? We could meet up at 6?” you asked
“I’se love to” Race said while he placed his cigar in his mouth “Now’s scram I’se need to finish selling,” he said coldly.
“Um okay see you later”
 *Race POV*
“I’se couldn’t believe me eyes, (Y/N) is a scabber!” Specs said loudly
“And did you’se see the boy she’s with now! I’se couldn’t believe it!” Albert continued. “And she thunk that she could just waltz back into our lives after leaving us”
“Shut up” I basically growled out. Spec and Albert just rolled their eyes.
“You’se only defending her since you’se want her to be your goil” Albert said
“We should be happy for her” I said “She’s probably just busy now and she’s no scabber”
“Sure, but remember she’s rich now, one day she ain’t going to even remember you’se name” Spec warned. I just rolled my eyes and started walking out of the lodging house. I was already late. As I walked towards the bakery I couldn’t help but let Specs’ words bug him. He was right. She’s no longer poor and she’s got herself a man that could provide for her for the rest of her life. She doesn’t need me anymore.
 *Y/N POV*
You sighed as you sipped your tea. He was late, an hour late to be more specific. He did seem mad earlier. He probably hated you now. Just as you were giving up hope the little bell rang meaning someone was walking into the bakery. Your eyes lit up when you saw Race walk in with his hands stuffed in his pockets.
“Race you made it! I thought you weren’t coming!” you said as you stood up to hug him. He quickly moved over before you could touch him making you frown but decided to just drop it. “I got you a muffin and a cup of coffee, but the coffee is probably cold by now”
“You’se change (Y/N)” Race simply state
“What?” you asked surprised
“I’se said you’se changed. I’se only came here to tell you that we’se can’t be friends anymore” you were shocked. As you simply stood there not knowing what to say Race made his way out of the bakery. Quickly getting back to reality you grabbed your purse and followed Race out the door.
“What the actual hell Anthony,” you said as you grabbed Race’s arm. He stiffened when you said his name “I’m sorry that I haven’t been around much. But I’ve been busy with school! I missed 4 years of it and I’m trying to catch up! I thought you’d be happy for me! You know that I’ve always wanted to go to school. You never got mad when Davey left us to go back”
“I’se don’t care about Davey! And he didn’t change! He still comes to visit! He’s not a scabber” Race said angrily making you tear up.
“I am not a scabber” you said offended
“You’se a scabber! You’se got a scabber life now! You’se don’t need us street rats around anymore!”
“I never thought of you guys as street rats and you know it! I can’t believe you!”
“Whatever doll go back and cry to your boyfriend” Race mumbled angrily as he turned around about to walk away.
“Boyfriend?” You asked confused making Race roll his eyes.
“Don’t act dumb with me, I’se saw you’se with him this morning!” Race said while he glared down at you.
But when you really looked into his eyes you saw it. You’d recognize that look anymore. Race wasn’t mad at you. He was scared, and you could tell he was infected with the green monster of envy. You’ve had your fair share of the monster since you’d always feel like punching every girl that Race would flirt with while he sold his papes.
Not even thinking twice you grabbed Race’s collar and pulled him down connecting your lips with his. You could hear your heart pounding in your ears when you didn’t feel Race kissing back. Was this the right choice? Where you even right? Was it jalousie that you saw?
You were about to pull away, but Race wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you flushed against him deepening the kiss. You couldn’t help but gasps as you felt his soft lips move against yours deeply. That just gave Race the opportunity to slip his tongue in making you moan softly as you ran your fingers throw his hair tugging lightly. As you tugged on his hair Race groaned pushing you against the nearest ally wall. His taste was intoxicating. He tasted slightly like cigar and you wanted more.
Sadly, you needed to breathe so both of you slowly separated. Both of you breathing heavily but none of you showing signs of separating.
As you run your fingers through his hair you couldn’t help but smile.
“That was my brother” Race looked at you confused.
“What?”
“The ‘scabber’ I was with earlier” you started “He’s my brother”
“Fuck, I was glaring at him the entire time, he probably thinks I’se want to fight him” He groaned as he rested his head in the crook of your neck.
“Well you kinda did” you stated
“I’se thought he was your boyfriend!” you only giggled as you lifted his head connecting your lips to his once more.
