Me just imagining a storyline where mike and will kiss while listening to sweater weather by The Neighbourhood.

The storyline: It's an evening of a december night in Hawkins as demogorgons running around the town. Mike goes take a break outside of the hoppers cabin. He just broke up with El two minutes ago and he doesn't understand. He doesn't understand why did Will lied to him about the painting. What was the reason? Yes he knew something was wrong when Will said that the painting was from Mike but it's Will, his best friend since forever. Why would he lied like that about his painting ? At that moment Will opened the door, went beside Mike and said:

-Are you okay Mike?

To which Mike responded with a question:

-Why did you lied to me?

Wil, shoked, doesn't quite understand.

-Why did you lied about the painting Will?

Will tries to find an excuse somewhere, but he can't find any and while making stupid excuses the fight deteriorate to the point where there borh crying and shouting because of that Will just spills:

-Because I Love you!

Mike stop speaking. Will too. They just stare at each other for more than a minute. It's only then that Mike says:

- Really?

-Really.

Then Mike starts to walk slowly and with hesitation to Will. He then puts his hand on Will hair and stare at him deeply. Will is watching nervous, anxious, wondering what will happen hopping secretely that Mike won't turn him down. Mike continue to look at him in his eyes and sometimes even his lips.

-Really?

-So much Mike.

At this point Will tought it was too late, he said too much for there friendship to continue after that so why not say it all. At least this is what he tought. Mike leans in slowly to see if Will back off but Will doesn't and they end up kissing as it starts to snow in the little town who is hawkins.

Tom glares at him then reluctantly moves his eyes to look at Peter, he looks just as beautiful as before, but his hair is messier and somehow fluffier this time around. He’s sitting a few tables away, what Tom presumes is homework is spread out over the table, but Peter’s reading a book off to the side of it. A faint grin slowly makes its way across his lips, watching Peter’s eyes flick over each line, his reactions to what surprises him or confuses him.

He blatantly stares at the boy in fascination. Thoughts that he manages to come across eventually wander away. Tom finds himself being stuck on what Peter could be thinking about. If it’s a certain person, a movie, maybe, but the blonde comes to the conclusion that he’s probably focused on his novel. At least that’s what common sense tells him.

Ron kicks him again after who knows how long of silent heart eyes across a mostly empty library, it’s a wonder how Peter didn’t notice Tom. Tom jerks his leg back harshly as he turns his head to look at Ron again. “Damn, Leonard wasn’t wrong.”

“Shut up.” Tom digs his heel into Ron’s foot and listens to Ron’s almost silent pain in satisfaction as he goes back to studying. They go back to their work, Ron feeling exasperated and done with his best friend, and Tom embarrassed with flushed cheeks. He steals glances at Peter every now and then for the rest of their study session.

i started writing this like in january and am finally getting around to finishing it. (title may change as the plot is still being figured out)

I know the like running theory is a two year time skip but I just don't see how that's going to work. Like at least for me, I cannot understand how we can go from watching the teams looking at the apocalypse and then what I'm supposed to believe Nancy just went off to Emerson anyways???

Soothing. Uplifting. And - so many versions and covers to chose from. Ok. one may say: All to familiar. But i guess - it's real good choice in these days.
