While Lily dissolves, Myco rots.

Myco is slowly decomposing. Bugs, worms, and fungi cover his flesh. He hasn’t been able to speak since his vocal chords dissolved, only communicating through gurgles and clicks.

It's hard for rot to remember or understand things. Rot's brain is decomposing, too. She has the regular issue of choking up bugs, or having her skin fall off. Rots decomposition is hard to watch.

She keeps a smile, despite it all. It's easy to be positive when you don't know what's happening. Despite this, her condition scares her more than anything.
