Because Yuu and Grim come as a 2-in-1 deal (with Grim doing all of their assignments that require magic), it occurs to me that Yuu would be SO fucked with their schoolwork if anything happens to Grim. And Grim needs Yuu to keep him under control— This is particularly true in the later school years, as first year classes focus on theory and transition into requiring actual magic use in the upper level classes. This is, of course, assuming that assuming that Yuu stays in Twisted Wonderland and continues their education at NRC.

So… what does that mean for the fourth year internship that is a prerequisite to graduate?? Yuu cannot complete a magic internship on their own, and it doesn’t make sense if only one of the pair can formally graduate. Does Yuu have to follow Grim wherever he decides to go?? Together forever… (There are fan theories about Yuu and/or Grim becoming the new Ramshackle dorm leader + vice or even the new headmaster, which might be an… interesting avenue to take for an internship 🤔)

One idea I think could be neat (if not corny) is Yuu doing a cumulative project instead of an internship. (This way, Yuu is actually doing some kind of active work in addition to babysitting Grim at his own internship.) They could submit a photo album of all the pictures they took with the Ghost Camera. Three years of good and bad times, documenting how Yuu and their peers have changed over that time…

“What’s this?” Crowley will ask, looking confused at the thickness of the tome. What would possible be contained within its pages?

“This is the summation of everything I’ve learned at Night Raven College. My thesis,” Yuu states plainly, “on the magic of friendship. Take it or leave it.”

I am by no means Ada’s best supporter but I WILL say that her accusing Annabel, resident girlboss lesbian, fer being into Prospero isn’t as bad when you remember like 99% of White Raven moments were done in secrecy between just the two of them- almost like that was the poinntt whooaaa- and also she’s having a super bad mental breakdown with clouded judgement right now.

Prospero has never treated Annabel badly and actually had some good moments of teamwork with her, Annabel is rushing to his defense right now, putting this limited info of two and two together and to be honest Ada jumping to the conclusion that Annabel was into him isn’t like, a GREAT guess, but given her super mega heartbreak mode that went so crazy it triggered her spectre yeaaaahhhh I can see why she’d jump the gun into delusioning Annabel’s heterosexuality like that.

apple and ravens relationship is something that is very layered. apple is shown to be selfish about her destiny and generally gives the impression that she doesn’t care about what raven wants. but that’s the opposite of what it is. apple wants what is best for raven and their story. apple loves her destiny and thus wants to protect anything in it, including raven herself. she tries to grow a friendship between them but fails on multiple occasions. her actions can be seen as self centered jabs at ravens future but at the same time all she wants to do is help. and so she overachieves with the twisted perspective apple grew up on, that raven is meant to be evil. it’s all she knows. though what raven sees is a girl that doesn’t understand her, apple sees someone she feels inevitably connected to

Lenore will not hate Annabel forever

this might be really bias and i could be wrong but COME ON. i've seen a couple fics on Ao3 and posts on here saying they are never ever ever getting back together and i just don't think that's true. i do think that this is the divorce arc, they are not happy right now but then again when are they ever. however there is too much tension for it all to end seemingly so early in the story. we don't even know the full story of how they died yet, why would they completely separate with no chance of future connection. now, i don't think theyll end happily ever after. i think that this will be a tragedy or at the very least bitter sweet. but Lenore will not loose all affection for Annabel, their relationship is too integral for that.

Also literally all outside art of them is romantic. even in the midst of this dramatic rift between them we got super sexy vampire art (seemly based on Carmilla but i haven't read that yet so idk). i just don't believe a story about a couple going from star crossed lovers to bloodthirsty enemies would promote itself like a tragic, gothic romance the way nevermore has. but admittedly this was not a well structured argument and i might be challenging an empty room idk how many people think this. maybe ill right a full essay one day idk

Sorry to be posting twice in one day but now I wanna talk about Sybil's last line of dialogue at the end of Wallaru. Bro says "The Spiral will always need its Scion." In terms of new villains always arising, new worlds to explore, etc.

Now of course in the real world this means something totally different than in narrative; for us it means yay Wizard101 will continue and it's not ending and shit and thats good!!! But in universe, I believe that fact would have brought different feelings. Like sadness. Or anger. Or maybe just numbness.

Like if you think about it. The implications. The Wizard will never, CAN never rest. It's an ongoing, neverending thing of always being needed. It's You and ONLY You. There will never NOT be evil. If not GF Spider, then the Schism. If not the Schism, then the Old One. If not the Old One, then someone else. Someone or Something will always come up as a Threat that only the Scion (for some reason. Gods exists here) is expected and able to defeat. When Sybil said that I was legit terrified because gotdamn I can't retire???? I will Always be The Legend who Always saves the day???

Like even setting aside the social consequences of this (the whole people suspecting us/fearing us Thing) imagine what that does to your emotional and mental health. Fuck even physical health. Going through all that strenuous trauma and exercise and magical ordeals and shit???? The pressure of knowing it's the universe at stake, not just you or the world?
