It’s time to talk about Scott’s abuse and manipulation tactics he used against Kathleen. (This is not meant to be a guide to help people recognize abuse in relationships. It is an analysis of a fictional character done by someone who is not a professional in any way.)

The first thing he did was make Kathleen trust him. He told her how much he loved her, treated her with more respect than most of the upperclassmen did, and got her extravagant gifts.

Whenever he attacked her, he apologized profusely and basically bought her forgiveness.

He refused to let her talk to any of her male classmates, further isolating her.

He gaslit and emotionally abused her, convincing her that she didn’t have any talent for things she was passionate about.

He made her feel more loved than anyone else in her life (including her parents) so that she would come back to him.

He convinced her that he needed her, making her feel guilty for wanting to leave him.

And finally, he convinced her that she had no chance of being wanted by anyone else, putting down her personality and physical appearance.

I don’t care if this gets my Tumblr account locked too but at this point, I don’t give a fuck. The Degrassi fandom has been flooded with racism and anti blackness since the beginning of time and it’s time I as a black fan expose all of these bastards for filth.

The primary user of the Degrassi No Context account enables racism in the community. Eeveepacini is a racist that uses her platform to enable racism in the community. Jocelyn (degrassikid) is racist and is actively being silent as one of her followers is harassing black fans in the community for holding her accountable for her moment of anti blackness towards me. Molaspacini is an associate of Eeveepacini and has shown an extreme lack of tone-deafness in regards to getting defensive whenever her favorite queens Lola and Frankie are dragged for their displays of anti blackness and like her besties DNC and Eevee, has had liked several tweets attempting to silence me and other black fans in the community for speaking about the racism black characters in the Degrassi fandom face.

This shit must end. I have to lock at least two of my Twitter accounts to protect myself from these people. I literally don’t feel safe actively participating in any online Degrassi community because of that fact that the biggest fans with the largest platforms in the fandom are anti black while daring to call themselves allies at the same time.

Oh and don’t bother to send me messages and asks attacking me in defense of these people because not only will I delete them, I’ll block you so talk to me nice 😍.

JT (from the first couple seasons) and Toby are the same are Arthur and Yick. Why? Well, I’m glad you asked.

JT and Yick both wear oversized shirts, often tye dye.

Toby and Arthur both have stepsisters who hate them

JT and Yick both have comically disorganized lockers

Toby and Arthur are both nerds who attempt (and fail) at sports

JT and Yick are both bad at school

There’s a plot in DJH where Yick and Arthur try to watch a porno movie. In TNG, there’s a similar plot where Toby and JT watch porn on Toby’s family computer. They are thwarted both times.

JT and Yick are both strangely fascinated with sex, despite never having even dated before (for the first couple seasons obviously)

In both DJH and TNG, there’s a wet dream plot involving those two pairings.

They’re both wholesome sets of best friends who are basically brothers and have had each other’s backs from the start.
