So, I mentioned yesterday that there was a piece I saw where Stelle was wearing a rather fancy dress, and though I personally adore it because she looks so pretty, Stelle herself was hit with a very strong wave of dysmorphia. (Super brief mention of 1.5 events present! Not tagging spoilers due to it being about two weeks since the update dropped, but I'm giving a heads up regardless.)

Stelle has always, I think, been someone who prefers more neutral clothing, and though she has absolutely no problem with being referred to with feminine pronouns at all, she herself does not like the idea of presenting as particularly feminine. In fact -- and this scares her -- she sometimes does not want to be perceived a physical entity at all. While I do stand by my take and new understanding that Stelle is on the nonbinary spectrum (her disgust was both dysmorphia and dysphoria!), this does go a little deeper: Stelle is very very conscious of the Stellaron housed within her body.

Feeling the weight and warmth of the Stellaron inside, knowing she's artificial, frankly makes her want to tear herself out of her own skin sometimes. In the wake of her possession by Cirrus, I think this feeling only worsened with her horror and disgust at being robbed of her autonomy. That line of thinking became something along the lines of I am (in) a vessel, and this vessel has been tainted. It's very, very awful. And, on her worst days, when the paranoia starts to kick in, frankly? She's not sure if she is Stelle or if she is the Stellaron. Is her dysphoria a factor caused by the Stellaron desiring freedom or having its own thoughts? She doesn't know. There's no way for her to verify the person she used to be before, after all. She has no memories from before the space station. She doesn't trust Kafka.

But she knows the Stellaron speaks. She heard the voice of Cocolia's Stellaron. She knows the one within her pulls towards the desires and wishes of the worlds she's in, too. She's felt it. The existence of the Stellaron within her is why she walks on the Path of Destruction in the first place, its response to the desire of the people of Belobog to survive is why Qlipoth granted her the powers of Preservation. She knows it's why she can adapt to the Paths so fluidly.

She heard its call on the Luofu, too, heard it all throughout the battle with Phantylia.

On her best days, she just doesn't like being seen as very effeminate, because that isn't her. But on those particularly bad days, when she starts to lose sense of where the Stellaron ends and where Stelle begins, she'd really... rather not be perceived at all. Having eyes on her just makes her all the more conscious of the cancer she's housing, stable or not. This ties into her regular discomfort with being spectated by crowds, why she insists she's plain, why she dislikes dressing up.

That being said, no one aside from her twin Caelus (@celestial-narwhal) or Dan Heng would be aware of this extreme discomfort. It's something she keeps extremely close to her chest, and with her resting neutral, straight-faced expression one would find it near impossible to tell what sort of day she's having inside.

Update.

I've been waiting all day for it to get foggy. Hasn't been fun. Started seeing things at some point- the black ink was starting to leak from the walls, and that, weird phantom pain in my arm (even though I still have Both of Them) came back at some point. It's not fun. Things haven't felt- right or even really real all day.

Was checking out the box that... I got sent by what has to be Team Fauna, tried to read a note that was inside of it, thought that I was just panicking too much already when I first read it.

Nearly passed out and got a nosebleed. Head felt like it was splitting in two. This shit isn't normal.

I've been leaving out a bunch of the stuff that's been happening to me here because- guess what I like privacy, but its been bad. It's been bad for a while, I haven't been able to even get near Windy, I'm starting to feel less and less like myself-

and I'm not going to sit back and let this happen anymore. I know what's at least connected to it, and I know I can get some fucking answers even if I can't stop what's happening right now.

(Ok but, realistically thinking about it... If you ever told them about the fact you're from another world and that they're just characters in a cartoon, you would have definitely given them de-realization and unreality issues and they would not be ok... And so to avoid ANGST, I'll write this under the premise of "you intervene with some plot points and so the autobots get the best out of it but they don't know that you have preemptive knowledge of canon events and they just write this off as you just have really good judgement as to what they should do when bad things arise and you act really nice to them but they don't know that you're fan.")

Optimus appreciates your company whenever you’re at the base, and given the fact that many good things have happened to the team ever since you joined, it’s given him hope that perhaps this war will take a turn for the better. (Depending on how you go about helping the team) he does find it strange how it almost seems that you know exactly what to do in order to help the team during some situations.

Ratchet was at first irritated with the fact another human was going to come to base—and the fact that you probably spent a good while staring at him (just taking in the fact that these giant robots all around you are in fact real)—didn’t really help your case (unless you didn’t stare at him.) But over time he noticed how you’ve tried to make things easier for him and that you’ve made an effort to keep Miko out of trouble. He certainly appreciates it, and if you keep it up he’ll grow fond of you. Or unless you go out into the battlefield in order to intervene with certain events (he wouldn’t know you’re doing that in order to change canon events, he just takes this as “you really want to see giant robots fight, just like Miko”) he would grow irritated with your antics, and unless no one says something he wouldn’t ever recognize all the things you do for the team.

Cliffjumper enjoys having you around! He values you as a friend and as a teammate, given the fact you've changed multiple things that would've normally ended badly, but he doesn't know that YOU know about these events before they occurred and so he just sees this as "y/n's just helping the team out by pitting in some suggestions and things turn out pretty well as a result". He likes how nice and kind you are to him—and it makes him really happy whenever you seem excited to see him pop up at your house to pick you up and take you to base. He takes this as "you really value him as a friend," and so does he! If you ever get really excited over any stories he has to share, it encourages him to tell you more—I mean he enjoys sharing these stories with you, and you seem to enjoy listening to them, so it's a win-win in his books.

Similar to Cliff, Bumblebee also enjoys your company and being around you in general! You're so nice to him and the team and you've brought nothing but good things ever since you came around! He's grateful to have met you and to have you as his friend and if you ever felt down he wouldn't hesitate to remind you about how much he cares about you. If you rush out into battle in order to change events, he’d try to dissuade you from following anyone through the groundbridge because he wouldn’t want you to get hurt. As a result, it might become even more difficult for you to change canon events with Bee blocking the way into the groundbridge.
