I’m not impressed.

I’m not impressed with how corporations suddenly managed to find Black actors and actresses for their commercials and are pushing them into our screens with full force. I’m not impressed with how Fairy liquid has decided to use Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” for their latest advert (I’m willing to bet that wasn’t the original song choice). I’m not impressed with UberEats spotlighting and offering special delivery rates to Black restaurants.

I’m not impressed with how Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben and the Cream of Wheat mascot are suddenly being reviewed. I’m not impressed with how governments are taking down statues of historical figures with links to slavery.

You know why? Because up until now they thought what they were doing was ok.

For all this time they didn’t care. If the Black Lives Matter movement didn’t make a sound they would have happily continued not giving a damn.

The more they try to impress the Black community the more they’re showing their ass. Don’t suddenly hide or tidy up shit. Leave it. Because changing it now won’t hide the fact that it never bothered you for all this time.

Well, I feel like she is a Virgo because she is so present, she has quite strong morals and ethics, she is extremely loyal and always of service for people she loves, and very sacrificial just like a Virgo. She also has that rebellion fire and loves to help her collective (the witches) - Aqua vibes, but I mostly get Virgo vibes for her. Very earthy as well, not water.

when i was in kindergarten my mom would pack me a school lunch (too picky from the autism to want to try school lunch) and the main food of it would typically be frosted mini wheats.

of course being like 5 years old i got tired of them very quicky so instead of eating them, i would violently smash them to make it look like they were crumbs instead of the whole mini wheats. 

the cafeteria people pretended to not care that i wasnt eating my mini wheats which always made it very confusing when my mom could somehow tell i did not eat any of the huge bag of mini wheat strings.
