vox would probably enjoy a night in the most, honestly, fans can irk him a fair bit, and he wants tonight to be about you and him alone

he’d probably get some of his more decent employees to be like waiters, and let’s be real, even if you were only in vox’s quarters, you both would still be dolled up

seeing as this is only the first date, vox’s “show host” persona is still very present, he’s not ready to let his walls down quite yet, he’ll sit there and boast about how fucking amazing he is for most of the date

but you’d be surprised, when you speak, vox won’t shut down anything you’d say, he’s an extremely good listener — it mainly comes from how he has to listen to boring meetings, even when he doesn’t want to, but as much as he won’t admit it, he could listen to you talk anyday

when the end of the date comes, you’re either gonna end up spending the night at his, whether it ends in sex with him or falling asleep on the couch together in the middle of a movie is a bit of a 50/50

OR he’s gonna end up driving you home, mainly because he doesn’t enjoy just walking about the streets of hell, because so many people come up to him, and also cause he doesn’t want to risk putting you in harms way, but also because he wants to flex his fancy ass car…

like vox, he’d also probably enjoy a date in a more private settings — due to the type of fans he has, the contract he’s under, along with many other things

but angel has a preference for more relaxed dates, he’d bring you into his room the hotel and end up having a massive sleepover — movies, skincare, gossip seshs, etc. whatever you ask for, he’ll give ya!!

after valentino, i can see angel only really taking interest in people who he’s known for a long time/has a strong bond with — so considering the fact that he’s most likely known you for a long time, this is probably when he’s gonna be more affectionate — possible cuddles, kisses, etc

but even with that, angel really considers first dates as a ‘get to know you’ sorta thing, so he wants to hear all about you, and share stories with you about him as well! you two will probably play games like 21 questions or truth or dare but with mostly truths 😭🙏

honestly, angel will probably spend more time telling you about molly (his sister) then himself, he misses her a lot, and she was one of the biggest parts of him and he loves telling you stories about them together in their lifetime

she’d try on a bunch of fits for you in a ‘fashion run-way’ kind-of manner and force outfits into your arms and rush you to do the same

and in makeup stores, she’d grab a bunch of lip-oil testers and swatch them on your arm and see which ones she thinks look the best — and she’d also try to find your foundation shade match or something like that

then you goes would probably stop at a food court and she would sit there and just yap, i can see velvette as a big rambler, she can be very expressive with her words, especially when it comes to her passion topics, so she really grows to appreciate you if you decide to hear her out

and side note; if you guys run into one of her fans, she’ll make sure you see it, she needs you to know how fucking hot and famous she is

the both of you will probably stay until the mall is about to close, and then you’ll walk her home, but don’t worry, she’ll give you a small kiss for being so good ~

honestly, husk would kinda be at loss a for what to do for a ‘date’ — it’s been a long damn time since he’s been romantically interested in someone, so he’s not too sure where to start

he’ll end up going to charlie for help, or angel, and he ends up deciding to take you out to a small diner that’s just a stroll away from the hotel

it’s not great there by any means, but it’s not bad, but more importantly, it’s safe, and that’s all he really wants for you

you two will spend most of the time conversing in conversation, nothing too crazy or life changing, but simple ice breakers here and there, husker is more awkward than you may think

despite the fact that he thinks it’s so fucking stupid, he takes charlie’s idea to share a smoothie with you, which ends up back-firing as he takes a sip and it goes through and up your straw and splatters onto your face

and you can’t help but blush as he gets a little too close to you as he wipes the smoothie off of your face with a few napkins…

alastor is a gentlemen, who aims to please, so he has a number of activities for you that are bound to blow you out of the water, even if the idea is simple on paper

first, he starts off by taking you out to dinner, the fanciest restaurant he could find, you both are dressed up to a tee

he makes sure to feed you every last bite of your food, treating you like a pet, its so sickeningly sweet you didn’t whether to be slightly offended or swoon right then and there

then he takes you out to a nice park, even if it’s already dark out, and he’ll have you on his arm and take a simple stroll with you, the attention is fully on you and he won’t shy away from giving you all the praise possible

shortly after, alastor will get his staff and play some gentle jazz music as you both sway under the hellish stars on what seems to be such a blissful night ~

“I know, I already unfriended him on everything and he won't just…I don't even want to interact anymore.” The tiredness in your voice boils his blood, he's had enough of your so-called ‘friend’ and his toxic ways.

Probably a little cold and severe, putting a bit too much emphasis on grades and perfection. Despite that, would actually be pretty good. Someone that reads up a lot on how to raise a kid, bonding with them etc etc. to form a somewhat healthy relationship.

Private school little wunderkind. Will grow up with the absolute best of everything and spoilt too so you would need to keep them grounded. Expected to take over Workers. Business acument and ambition will be drilled into them from an early age.

What is there to say about Tabasco that we don't already know. Would dote on them hand and foot. An absolute pushover! Their kid pulls out the puppy eyes and it's game over. Would teach them to protect themselves but probably draw the line at anything more.

Really creative? Vasco would place less emphasis on grades and would help to nurture their interest in the arts. But actually super smart too thanks to Uncle Jace's influence. Tbh I think the kid would be pretty perfect and with the kindest heart and stands up to bullies just like dad!

Zack Lee

As a dad

So so similar to Vasco. Has all these ideas on what they should and shouldn't do as a parent. Kid pops out, and Zack's a goner. Literally would do anything and everything for their child. Go absolutely crazy with pride if the kid is interested in boxing.

Would have no game... Like dad. Sorry. Good job they would be good looking af to even it out. Not a huge emphasis on education and grades thanks to Zack's influence. More focused on athletics. A little shallow and arrogant, but a huge softy underneath.

Johan Seong

Panic and anxiety from the day their kid was born and every day after. First because of worrying about their eyes, second because he's just not comfortable with having an actual dependent. Tries to teach them about the evils of the world. Eventually chills out overall and reverts back to being the gentle-hearted boy he used to be.

♪ | You apologized profoundly about wasting his time and that you would come to see him again with something to thank him for his favor.

♪ | He wasn't all that eager for that and probably thought that you were joking or not being serious, but he also didn't stop you.

♪ | Guy was so stunned when he heard from you again. And you brought him some homemade food (for the sake of the plot let's say you did pancakes) and a self made necklace.

♪ | You were already surprised when he didn't comment on your pink and green hair (you didn't know that he was just blind), but you were even more surprised when he accepted your gift. Although, somehow hesitant, but he accepted them nonetheless.

♪ | After that, you would just go out to those woods to hang out with him. It really didn't bother him much when you came to hang out and he was still training with his sword.

♪ | You actually were exited to see him practice and cheered him for being strong, mentioning that you also have strong physical abilities and that your wand is in your sword too.

♪ | He was intrigued and said that if you wanted to, you could train together some time. Man wanted to see how strong you were

♪ | He was definitely surprised when you could keep up with him. But it was a pleasant surprise nonetheless.

♪ | After that you guys just hanged out a lot, telling stories, training, etc.

♪ | He slowly, but surely, was getting a little big crush on you.

♪ | He loved every aspect of you; your caring and loving attitude towards your friends and family, your dedication to protect others, your fighting techniques, everything.

♪ | Your voice soothed his worries like nothing else.

♪ | Man was so grateful for you, he appreciated that you still were friends with him even after learning who his father is, how much people he had to kill, etc. He was surprised that when you learned that he was blind since birth, instead of being uncomfortable about it, you were even more amazed of his skills.

♪ | Imagine his shock when he learns that you were supposed to be wed with a man you barely knew.

♪ | He was more angry about the fact that the guy always critiqued you, the said guy seemed to have problem with everything you did and had: your hair, the fact that you train (in the guy's words, "that wasn't feminine), your strength, your personality, etc

♪ | He already was pissed enough at your parents for being shitty af, but now they not just allowed, but encouraged their own daughter getting married to a man who does nothing more but critique her? He was ready to add names on the list of people he killed.

♪ | He doesn't do it just because you said there was no need.

♪ | He might never have seen your hair, but he would stand on that it was pretty nonetheless, just like the rest of you.

♪ | He was surprised that one day, when you came to hang out as usual, you were crying. He didn't know how to console you, so he just patted your back and then rubbed circles on it with his hand.

♪ | That was enough to easy your feelings a little bit and eventually you calmed down and told him everything

♪ | You told him that the guy started critiquing you again as always, and at this point you couldn't handle it no more. You were very upset, but didn't want to do anything too dramatic, so you just took the papers that confirmed that you were engaged to him and destroyed them in his face. Then you just walked out the house.

♪ | Doom acted calm about it, but still let you express your feelings freely.

♪ | He knew it wouldn't be the best idea to let you in his house with his crazy siblings and his father, but he also couldn't leave you outside.

♪ | That was when you officially net his family. As a friend thought. Which wasn't Doom's favorite thing, but it wasn't the time to get upset about something like that. And Doom is a patient man, he can wait.

♪ | It probably was chaotic but most didn't pay a mind. Maybe Famine or Delisaster teased Doom, but mostly they didn't care. Innocent zero did say something along the lines of "Don't be carried away from your missions" or "Don't let the girl get to your head, you're just going to delude yourself and the girl". But if it didn't interfere with his plans he wouldn't give a damn. Maybe he'll use you to his advantage thought.

♪ | After some time, you were used to living there and opened up more. Doom was happy to know that you're living better than before, even though you now count as a criminal.

♪ | At some point you just left your hair have it's natural colour and started wearing clothes that you liked and not the ones your family deemed "more important".

♪ | I feel like, when Doom would realize about his feelings he wouldn't know what to do, but would be chill about it

♪ | Mostly, just because he knows that if he let's it shown you'll be in even more da ger than you already are

♪ | And also because he knows that neither Delisaster nor Famine will let him live it down.

♪ | Domina might start to see you as his older sister ngl.

♪ | I think Doom wouldn't be very touchy, but he still would like to have some physical contact. Might pat your head, or put his hand on your lower back, something like that.

♪ | Might at some confess to you, but I think that he won't. Just to keep you safer, I guess.

♪ | If he does confess and you accept him, he'll be very happy and will show it through a small smile.

♪ | Likes to play with your hair. It's so soothing to the touch and long. He likes to run his hand through it (and if he can't, he likes to twirl it or braid it).

♪ | If he confesses, it means that he is certain that no matter what happens, he won't let you die. Even if he has to give his live in exchange and even if it runs against his father's plans. He has respect for his father, but you were the first person to be there for him at all times, through everything, no matter what piece of new information about him you learned.

♪ | Now, if he doesn't confess

♪ | Oh boy

♪ | Regrets not telling you about his feelings when you die on the Eclipse Day.

♪ | You were fighting against an opponent who had an ability that contra attacked yours very good. And while you did defeat that person, you were left with serious injuries that lead to your death. Your two of three braids were cut shoulder length, one of your arms cut off and your leg injured.

♪ | He held you in his arms as you passed away. He didn't want to believe it, but he knew that you didn't have much time. You, too, knew it.

♪ | As your time alive grew shorter, you felt more easy, knowing that you'll die I his arms and not in the arms of the cold wind.

♪ | For the last time, you decided to chat with him. You made sure he promised that whatever he wanted to do next, he had to finish it in time.

♪ | Feeling brave in your last moments, you asked a question that was based off your assumptions.

You cough blood while trying the bravery and the words in you. Doom's big and warm hands held you bridal style as he was standing near the place where you fought the enemy. It felt comfortable, to know you'll pass away in this away: in the hands of the one you love the most, the one who helped you a lot and the one you wanted to see again. Suddenly, Doom felt your hand, that wasn't cut off, cup his cheek gently and weakly, as you had almost no energy already.

- "If we're going to be reborn..." - you started, coughing out a little bit more of blood. - "... Let me be your bride, okay?" - Doom felt his heart sink at your question. How could this feel so beautiful yet tragic? He didn't know, he didn't need to know. Because all he needed is a little more time with you.

- "If you let me have you, I'll find you and marry you in every one of the timelines. No matter how much time it will take me to find you, or how bloodied will be your or my hands, if you just let me be with you... I promise to put a ring around your finger." - Your heart flutters hearing his determined tone. You smile and let a loving sigh leave you mouth as you feel weaker. Doom notices that and his grip on your waist and lege tightens slightly. He doesn't want you to disappear now, and neither do you, but you're both aware that this is your last minute. Your hand let goes of Doom's cheek and slowly fall to your side as you pass away. Doom's heart sinked completely.

♪ | Don't worry, you're later revived with Innocent zero's spell after he got defeated by Mash.

♪ | As you met with Doom again, you couldn't handle the level of your happiness and just started crying while hugging Doom. Doom hugged you back.

♪ | Anyway, happy days in the prison lol <3 Idk how long his sentence is, but if you guys leave the prison after all, he'll be more than happy to spend the rest of your lives together <3

i feel like i should've done this when i finished chapter 4 like weeks ago but better late than never ig

post-halloween event my team consists of 5 light chars, 1 some other element (usually either leraye, belial, or paimon)

before that though i did use marbas before minhyeok, though sadly i'll probably rarely use marbas or any of the healers in the future since the artifacts when they work properly heal faster :')

i mainly focus on mammon, so i'll just be showing those here. i'm 1 story away from completing mammon (cake)'s and 2 stories away from completing mammon (selfie)'s!

materials

i do the absolute bare minimum for dailies and weeklies nowadays. since most of my chars are higher than lvl20 i've just been focusing on unholy board for most of the time i've been playing. as much as i wanna focus on skills i'm kinda held back by the game's very limited access to pies (you can only get them in shop + it's the rng boxes most of the time). hopefully there'll be more options to get pies that aren't purely dependent on rng in the future 😔🙏

i also wish candies weren't rng either, or there is rng but also an option to exchange one type of candy for another. as shown above i have absolutely way too many candies for the other kings and almost none for mammon :'))) the grind truly never ends

overall thoughts / reflection

this section is just something for me to look back on when i do a progress post again in the future. i'll break this down into sections so i can stay consistent with laying out all my thoughts. also this won't be spoiler-free

STORY

i find it somewhat interesting? i can't really put in a bunch of input since we've only explored one of the many areas of hell. i set my game to have a male mc, and there's still a lot of issues with making pronouns consistent :'). i do have a few cgs missing despite completing all the chapters that are out currently but those missing ones might be for future chapters so idk (kinda bothers me a bit to see missing cgs despite completing everything). unholy board stories are also ok? it's pretty tedious to get through so many objectives for only a little bit of story and also all the h-scenes and devil's tango bits in unholy board stories are written like they were made for wattpad lol

GAMEPLAY

tl;dr very tedious lol

addressing the elephant in the room, i'm aware there's still a lot of bugs. i won't be going too in-depth about them since they're only temporary and didn't make that much of a significance towards my overall gameplay so far (aside from the leather gloves not working, but that got fixed in the halloween patch).

i'm glad we have autoclear in resource stages but i wish we had autoclear in story stages as well (and in the future event stages too). it would also be nice if there was an autoplay feature, though that's more of a personal preference since a lot of games i play have that option and i don't get bored from doing everything manually.

the 6-7 stages in chapter 4 seemed a bit unnecessary? the story itself is rather short so i guess i can understand why they would wanna pan out as much playtime as possible, but at a certain point it does get really boring and demotivating to progress. it also sets a certain precedent for future chapters, if the battles in between each small bit of story keep slowly increasing how many stages will chapter 10 have? chapter 20? i honestly would've preferred 3 battles in between each story, or if you're gonna have 5 battles in between each story, have some of the story in those battles. aside from the tutorial, an example would be in chapter 3 right as the angels attacked the hospital and mammon took mc out with him to fight (3-73). those battles could've 1. gave a tutorial on how to use mammon and 2. talk about how strong he is like in the story right after those battles (3-79).

on a different note, i wish the "meta" wasn't so skewed towards all the l cards. as i progressed through the story i would look up guides on bilibili, only to find that most if not all the guides are heavily dependent on l cards (and levi which is the only king i don't have 💀💀), only non-l card would usually be leraye 💀. it also feels a bit unbalanced considering light and dark are usually the recommended element for every battle and can go against literally every element including their own. i wish there would be more opportunities for other elements and characters to shine and hold up well so that even if you don't have certain l cards, you can progress through the game just as well as those with the certain l cards

RESOURCES

i briefly mentioned this while going through the materials i currently have but i wish a lot of them weren't so rng heavy. it really adds to making the game tedious especially when you have to level multiple devils of the same element. having a resource stage for candies and pies would be great. it would also be great to not make everything so expensive ㅠㅠ 116 gems for one (1) candy?? a multi of red keys costing almost 2k gems?? atp i just focus on leveling up rather than getting pulls

GACHA

after the whole 'minhyeok needing yellow keys' situation i've just been hoarding keys and using gems on stuff like ap since i have nothing else to really use them for aside from pies. the gacha rates seem really,,,, sad, and the fact that the bloodshed cards banner is p2w only sucks, which kind of makes me worry for future cards being released. i got pretty lucky with getting both mammon's signature artifacts, as it's one of the requirements to progress through unholy board, but other than that i never really had the best of luck with any of my pulls. i got minhyeok at hard pity, and it took idek how long to get leraye, my conclusion is just that my luck sucks in this game lol

to clarify- ive been saving "let's fall out of love" to read later ever since you posted it cuz i didn't feel ready- didn't think i was emotionally stable enough to read it then. well, tonight ive been clearing out my list of unread fics from last year aND GODDAMN WAS I EVER RIGHT ABOUT THAT.!!!

started getting all weepy and shaky before that first courthouse bathroom conversation and i didn't ever stop 😭 sobbed so hard and for so long at the unfairness of it all (for both of them !) i gave myself an asthma attack and had to stop reading.. what really broke me was e's bittersweet and somewhat detached realization on the courthouse steps that all their kids had flocked to laney during the divorce. couldn't stop thinking abt how badly i would've wanted to tell jesse off for being sharp to his daddy, and the knowledge that elaine COULDN'T, that it wasn't quite over yet and she still had to save face for a bit longer despite how much it killed them both, despite being the only person who could truly understand just how deep elvis was hurting right then and having been the one who'd made a whole life out of loving him hard.......... the idea of him resigning himself to having lost that forever (false) and her having to go against everything in her nature to let him ache a while longer,, oh it just shattered my spirit to bits right then and there. oh god im gonna start crying again just thinking about how lonely they both made each other 💔💔💔

im literally inconsolable, even with the reasoning behind it/ knowing how it ends beforehand, and having those future timeline fics to fall back on did nOT SAVE ME like . dear GOD woman how is that even possible?!?? if i had any shred of humanity left in my body id wax poetic for three more paragraphs abt how that speaks to your truly absolutely outstanding talent as an author and worldbuilder, but alas i think i cried out everything that was keeping me sane sometime in the last half hour and now i have to go lie facedown on the floor in my hallway and die abt it all instead 👍 fantastic work as always i love all your work so much forever etc etc 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

I spun around in circles upon reading this like my poor coon dog when she had a stroke -jovially of course. Like this is the stuff every writer dreams of getting for feedback but holy smokes, your talent for screaming? Beyond my wildest dreams. I’ve always told you how much I appreciate your time and enthusiasm to tell your thoughts Mary Hope, and now is no exception. My babe and co-author @elvisabutler deserves the pleasure of reading what we’ve wrought, as well. I’ll be halving all your medical and psychiatric expenses with her. 😏

Tbh, despite knowing both imminent and longterm reconciliation was to happen after this segment, we were just as cut up about tearing them apart as you were to read it. In fact, it was worse than all the lead up fics where the passive aggressive accumulation of grievances came across as hurts but ultimately only aggravations. This is just…PAIN. Funny how what was untenable before a tragedy suddenly appears to have been idyllic after it. Anyways.

Background: You and Monty become friends after weeks of bickering(not related to any fanfics currently)

Sun’s cloudy optics glared at huge, green, metal hands clasping onto yours. A few weeks ago, those claws wanted to rip you apart, to tear through your skin and sanity like tissue paper. To break you into little pieces, just like the others before you.

But here he is, holding onto your hand like the last thread.

Sun couldn’t believe the audacity of the metal junk of an alligator.

Once your painfully long handshake with Monty was over, Sun finally looked away. Well, he pretended to. The lack of visible pupils may be creepy to some children, but at least they’ll never know his attention isn’t entirely on them.

Sun’s gaze tenses on the gator when the latter rubs the back of his head, flustered. He could see you laugh, patting his other arm. He knew you thought well, but why, oh why, were you touching him so much?

If Sun had a tongue, he would be tasting bitterness right now. His smile strained as a kid shoved a red crayon into his hand.

As Sun’s hands began scribbling on his own paper mindlessly on instinct, his eyes trailed your movements, from your hand waving goodbye to mouth stretching into a smile to grabbing your mop and walking off to the direction of the daycare.

On the other hand, Monty lingered by, looking at you leave. A strange feeling bubbled up in Sun’s chest. A feeling he wasn’t used to at all. Even if it was the truth, he won’t accept it. There’s no way, right?

No way, there’s no chance you’ll choose that aggressive, creepy, murderous—

Moon.

Sun mentally shook his head. Moon’s different. He’s nicer and in some shape or form, calmer than Monty. Unless you liked the aggressive type.

It took all of Sun’s strength to not throw the daycare tables at the soundproof glass. No, no, he would never do that in front of the children.

He wanted to scream, to know what was going on in that pretty little head of yours. He hoped your mind was straightforward and that simply becoming friends with that gator was the end.

He’s not Monty and won’t ever be on his own accord, he would never want to rip you to bloody, little pieces! (Sun will ignore Moon’s feelings on this one.)

His thoughts get interrupted when you push open the large, wooden, daycare doors.

Sun’s body moved on its own.

Skipping over to you, he spread his arms out to hug you, to ignore that aching feeling at the back of his “heart”. You leaned your mop against the doors and spread your arms too with a bright smile.

Sun scooped you up, exclaiming about how happy he is to see you. You pat his shoulders laughing, just like how you did with Monty. It clawed at Sun’s wire insides.

He put you down and pulled out a disinfectant wipe from seemingly nowhere.

“I could almost see those germs, friend! Remember to stay clean and safe!” He trills, but the tone in his voice seems off. He crouches down and takes your hands in his and gently wiped them with the disinfectant wipe. You chuckled softly, not ignoring the sullen expression on Sun’s face hidden behind his permanent smile.

"Hey, you okay? You look off..." You start off, looking at his face with a concerned stare. Sun pauses momentarily but continues after, cleaning off one finger at a time.

“Of course, friend! Have to stay happy and cheerful for the kiddos,” Sun chirped with counterfeit cheerfulness, not looking away from your hands. You were sure any bacteria and its ghosts had disappeared by now.

“I’m not asking how you are for the kids, Sunny. I’m asking how you really—”

Sun drops your hand and stands upright.

“There! All clean!” Sun spins around, back to you, about to skip away. You tightly grab his wrist.

“Sun.”

His face plate turns towards you.

“Oh- aha, dear friend!  Your hands are going to get dirty again!  Grabby little fingers were all over me earlier—”

“Sun.” You interrupt him, a stern growl dancing your voice, stopping him dead in his mini ramble, but he had no right to scold you since he did it too.

“Ye-Yesss?”

Sun’s voice cracked, but with no enthusiasm like how it usually did. That broke your heart a bit. He was nervous, and even though he could’ve easily broken out of your grip, he didn’t. Was he scared?

Little did you know, Sun wasn’t scared of you. He was scared of what he’ll do to you if you even let a touch of raging jealousy slip out.

Your fingers trail from his wrist to palm and both your hands meet up, clasping them together with Sun’s hand in between.

“You can tell me what’s wrong. I’m your friend.”

Sun put up a soft, genuine smile. No, he can’t.

His free hand came up to rest on top of both of yours. “Thank you, Friend.”

While you two walked back, Sun briefly explained what was on his mind, with a lot of lies and vagueness, of course. He’s apparently stressed with the small ones and being a good mentor for them. You know, the normal bullshit.

You listened carefully, mostly believing what he said, but a small dot of doubt clouded the back of your mind. He still didn’t act right, but his reasoning made sense. But it also doesn’t at the same time.

Your thoughts were in shambles, so you put them aside for now. The moment you reached the tables, a kid jumped out of her seat and rushed over, hugging your leg tightly.

“Nice to see you again, little angel.”

The absolute angel of a child pulled you closer to the other children, who all bombarded you with drawings immediately after you settled down on a tiny kiddie chair.

Sun watched behind you, a warm smile on his face.

Although the atmosphere is light and cheery, a deep feeling grows deep down in your gut.

Soon, naptime rolled around. The rows of illuminating light bulbs dimmed and the cheerful daycare tune lowered in volume and in tempo, now a soft lullaby.

The kids were gathered in the destined naptime spot, blankets protecting them from the seeping darkness. Stars that glow in the dark plastered around the walls of the daycare winked at the children, pulling their eyelids down slowly one by one, the music serving as a perfect addition for lulling them to sleep.

The angels have been put to bed.

The sound of wires lowering and retracting was followed by a soft thump behind you as you tucked the last kid in.

There’s silence behind you but the presence is obvious and staring; right at you, in fact.

A slight head tilt let out a small whir of mechanical gears.

“Hello to you too, Moon.” The thick wire lowered again and hooked onto Moon’s back. You watched as he dangled above the children, brushing back some’s hair and adjusting the blankets on others.

You don’t know whether to feel calm or tense that the daycare was now silent except for the distant sound of the daycare nighttime lullaby and the faint snoring of the kids.

Moon landed beside you out of the blue, making you jump slightly.

“Months of working. Still scared?” He teasingly asked, but his tone wasn’t wholly light-hearted. He didn’t look at you, not even a flick of his pupils.

“I was just surprised,” you pouted and blew a raspberry. He stifled a dry chuckle. Something wasn’t right.

Being the blunt person that you are, you blurt out, “Are you and Sunny ok?”

It wasn’t clear in the dark but you think Moon tensed and stood a little straighter.

“Is something wrong? Sunny said—“

“We’re not upset.”

Again, interrupting. That really gotta stop.

“I never said you guys were, Moonman, but you somehow, just somehow, give me the feeling that you two are.”

Moon stayed silent. You didn’t know what he was thinking; you unfortunately (or fortunately) didn’t have a robot mind to understand his programming.

You could cut the atmosphere with a butter knife. And you did, with words.

“Y’know, nothing is going to be done if you don’t talk to me.”

Moon knew that. He’s seen your interaction with Monty through Sun’s eyes earlier, and the pang he felt deep down left him distorted, similar to Sun. But he won’t be broken that easily.

He called his wire and disappeared into the darkness. You whisper-shout at him, calling his name, but unsurprisingly there’s zero response.

Were you too harsh? But you weren’t wrong, how are you supposed to help your beloved bot friends if they don’t tell you what’s wrong?

It’s not like anyone else can tell you.

You thought, who here is closest to Sunny and Moon? Your mind immediately answers it's probably the children, maybe Music Man, or even you yourself. Something told you they didn’t trust management and the other employees, and since he wasn’t close to the glamrocks, that only left a limited amount of options.

You glance around, eyes adjusting to the dark. Uncertainty settles in your stomach.

Something drops to the ground.

You open your phone flashlight and shine it on whatever just landed beside you. Your stomach drops, the uncertainty gone and filled with confused horror instead.

A Monty plush. Except fuzz and cotton was protruding out of where its head should be. The Monty head itself seemed ripped off violently, the cotton pieces scattered around it.

You understand vaguely what’s going on now.

A quiet “Why” left your lips.

“Can’t help it.” Moon’s voice rang out behind you, static swimming around like a fish.

You turned around, Moon was unexpectedly not in your face, glaring red at you this time. He was sitting hunched over, arms lightly hugging his knees, gloomy.

Despite his words, you doubt what he did was because of the strange virus.

You crouch down next to him.

“It’s alright. You can always tell me what's wrong, if you'd like.” You pat his back and he slightly leans into your touch.

Your mind feels like it has lost many pieces of an intricate puzzle.

Moon doesn’t say anything after that, eyes glowing ruby at the floor.

You sigh in defeat, the two won’t talk now and you won’t force them to. Patience is a useful skill in this situation.

You two spent the rest of naptime huddled together, simply enjoying each other’s presence. You wish it could last forever. Sun and Moon wish that too.

G-rev ▪19 ▪gets a bit taller and also bigger 💪 ▪The rest of the guys kinda latch onto him after the abbey closes because he is the least mentally traumatized one. also cuz he is ‘the adult™’  ▪ Finds out he's pretty domestic and enjoys normal domestic activities like cooking. Turns out he is also a stress cleaner ▪ Turns into the big brother type for the other guys as they start healing and does his best to help out ....He leaves Tala to Bryan tho lmao 😅 ▪neglects his own mental health in favour of helping support the other three as he sees himself as fine compared to them. Post G-rev ▪Spends less time blading but still loves the sport ▪still spends a lot of time working out but mainly weightlifting now💪 does it more because he likes it rather then he feels the need to. ▪ His body type is much more strongman-like (thick arms chest and round tummy) and a bit doughy. Magic residue! Is a thing! A particularly brutal elemental something can linger with a dragon for years or even their whole life. A super effective element will cause more pain and suffering and complications, obviously, and theoretically multiple elements together can leave their residues behind at once, which can make everything worse or better or both at the same time!

yeah yeah yeah i love the descriptions of the glory!! this is hard to articulate so i hope this actually makes sense lol, but i think what i like so much about it is that...usually, in the case of a cosmic horror eldritch madness type force, it's horrible, it's frightening, it breaks you because it's overwhelming in its terror. but in the case of the glory, it's lovely, it's bright, it has a sense of comfort and warmth to it. the madness doesn't come from the fact that you've seen something horrific, it comes from the fact that you've seen something beautiful, more beautiful than anything you've ever known, and you need to be able to see it again. i really love that
