What if I told you it was so big because it was full of secrets??
In the daytime, it just looks like book pages. But when you hit it with a blacklight....
All of the blacklight on the pages were hand drawn and splattered by me. I copied some of the official pages from the show and then made up some fun pages with tons of Easter eggs and jokes. This was seriously a labor of love.
The 3 months of work no one will ever see in person. 🥲☠️
Had the honor of cosplaying Jack Skellingtam and meeting and taking a Selphie with Ben Starr and Gideon Emery at Kupocon Toronto last December, and they were so nice and spot on. I love them as Clive from Final Fantasy XVI, Balthier and Biggs from Final Fantasy XII and VII and more.
Just dropping some pictures of my Jim Hawkins cosplay. This has been my dream cosplay since I saw the movie in theaters as a teenager. The map actually projects in the dark and the solar surfer is an electric skateboard so I can ride it. (I’ll post a video eventually)
Okay, but do all Wish concept art fans agree that we need to see a couple cosplay as Asha and Starboy and walk through the Disney parks together on Halloween?
Been slowly putting together a cosplay of Hunter/The Golden Guard and I’m really happy with how it’s coming along!
(Should preface that I bought both the Golden Guard mask and Flapjack plushie from the awesome Mystery Shack shop! So if you want either of them, check the shop out! It was worth every penny. 🙂)
I had so much fun! I was tired and at first I was really sad because nobody was recognizing me. But it started with one artist, and then snowballed from there! It really made me happy when someone told me I had "righted Disney's Wrongs" and then wanted a photo of me! Two of the cosplayers pictured above are also people I look up to immensely in the cosplay world, and knowing they liked and recognized my Star Boy made it all the better 🥰 Thanks for all the love and fun last weekend, Emerald City 💚💫✨
Heya, so more cosplays won the poll, I thought I'd start with the cosplay I am probably the most proud of! Roughly 3-4 years ago I spent an entire year working on a Rapunzel cosplay based off of her early concept art, I entered this in my local cosplay contest and actually won 1st place in my division! Which was insane and I feel like I will never top it lol. Rapunzel is my favorite Disney princess and I was always in love with her early concept, I do love the purple dress too and I hope to someday cosplay that version as well, but green and gold really speaks to my soul...
Also fun fact, this photoshoot was probably the last day of my life I didn't have chronic back pain, my photographer and I got into a small car accident on the way home and I had some mild whiplash that never got better, AND I had to frantically get out of this cosplay in the car while traffic watched because I didn't want the cops to think we were crazy! So embarrassing... But man the photos came out amazing.
New commission: Prince Ariel! I designed & made this Prince version of Ariel's pink gown for a customer to wear to Tokyo Disney! Her gold voice seashell is on the belt, and there are shells, starfish, and Tritons trident on the cape band. He's going to be so beautiful!
