Guys, I have a conundrum.

Apparently, I fucked up Alastor’s DOD in that I thought it was deer season but was off by a few days.

So, I was gonna retcon his death and move it to December 1933. But then I realized.

It’s the Great Depression. People are Hungry. Even in better times, not every hunter is going to obey hunting laws, but I’d imagine the number of people willing to hunt out of season goes up when your only other option is to starve.

And I think there’s something kind of poetic about Alastor being killed by a poacher while attempting to dispose of evidence.

Two criminals meet in the woods with a bullet as their introduction. One was trying to avoid starvation, the other was satisfying a hunger of a different kind. Both were doing what they thought was necessary, either to survive or to bring justice where the law failed to do so. (Vigilante Alastor is UH3 canon, btw.)

So, my question is:

The results of this poll may not necessarily decide what I make canon, but I’m curious to see your opinions.

Vinny is a crass and rude guy who takes almost nothing seriously. He has a tendency to run his mouth and annoy those around him. He’s also a slob.

Dragalos or Akira Sakura is an Butler like sinner who lives in hell for searching his brother, He is the demon butler of the Happy Hotel and acts as Charlie bodyguard. Being a butler is a job he is completely devoted to, following Charlie orders with great loyalty and swiftness. He enjoys challenging Husk and doesn't seem to be truly concerned about his well-being at times, insulting and irritating him to see his reaction. However, there are times that he displays concern for Charlie life, such as when he was worried when Angel dust had an asthma attack, and again later on when he had a panic attack. To Dragalala he much more than a older brother himself and he always care about him to protecting him from danger but he could protect himself.

Personality: Dragalos is a dutiful and dedicated butler to Charlie as he follows each order faithfully, while always ensuring that the Phantomhive house runs smoothly. However, whenever Dragalos heard of Angel dust shenanigans, he ignores whatever Angel dust says to him. Dragalos views money as "rubbish" and "materialistic." He is fluent in French and Latin, enough to teach the latter. He is also proficient in Deutsch (German) and East Franconian, a dialect in Southern Germany. Moreover, he profoundly adores cats and once kept at least thirteen hidden in his wardrobe to prevent Ciel from finding out.

Description: A young female demon who's known Alastor for a long time, is also from the south Georgia. And also has raw power when she came to hell. She on equal power level as Alastor, she's also a southern serial killer who poisonous instead of mutilating her victims. She is a singer who did gigs to get by. Her relationship with Alastor is a friendly rivalry with a spark of love. The only safe space is the kitchen. They both love cooking. She also has one of the most beautiful singing voices in hell. She also is not very fond of Angel Dust's sexual jokes. She knows all of Alastor mother's recipes. And if a demon threatens them they will band together to fight a common foe. Many people and demons have said that they are a couple even though they only say they are friends. She won't always come to Alastor's defense. Living: 2 days after she was born her parents abandoned her her mother's friend adopted her and her daughter became Pixie's best friend. First guy Pixie ever dated just wanted to date her best friend and Pixie accidentally killed them by poisoning them. She ran away to Louisiana killing people on the way she was also raped multiple times on the way by one man who made one of the biggest mistake by making her get him some coffee that she poisoned it and ran away. She worked at the radio station Alastor work as a radio host in. Alastor saved her from an owner of the radio station that was rumored to rape women in his office. Alastor took her in and they lived together until he died. After Alastor died Pixie was living on the street and was kidnapped and taken to a hotel to be raped by man only to commit suicide by drinking her own poison before the man can rape her.

Powers: As the name Siren entails she can use her voice to ensnare or enslave demons to do what she wills them to. She can summon a shadowcat. She also uses the same voodoo magic as Alastor. She can also summon female voodoo dolls. She can also use sonic soundwaves attacks. She also has retractable claws. Just like Alastor she never shows her full powers. She can also summon demons with just a snap of her fingers if she needs to. She can also make deals that more likely benefit her.

Personality: A bit hot headed but for the majority of the time he's very tame and calm guy, if not a bit flirtatious at times. Just don't get on his bad side. It doesn't look like it, but he is very well read and when given the chance he'll recommend a few good books or get into long conversations about them. He has a music taste that goes well before his birth and past his time of death, but he prefers that old fashioned rock and roll. He knows how to play the trumpet, piano, and guitar, and is glad to play them for those who would enjoy it. 

Bio: Duke had loving parents at one point but they couldn't afford to raise him or his younger sister--it was the Great Depression--so they gave them up to an orphanage when he was 3. His sister was adopted at some point and so were the other kids eventually, leaving only him. He was kicked out soon after at 16 because of his already prominent anger issues. He won $100 ($1,042 today) and a Harley in a game of Bourré (a gambling card game from lousiana). He bought himself a guitar and a new set of bad ass threads, took his new bike and left New Orleans to begin his new life. He ruled the roads with his Harley, striking fear into the hearts of many who crossed him and stealing some hearts along the way--occasionally literally. A vicious serial killer, he fancies himself a vigilante, which he was in certain ways. He killed a lot of unsavory people as he went from town to town and back again; kill is an understatement, slaughtered is a much better word and the violence usually reflected the crime. The rest of the time he would kill whoever pissed him off. The last thing his victims would hear was that "Devil's Music"; rock and roll. He wasn't surprised he ended up in Hell. He didn't mind at first, he considered that heaven may be a boring place because of all the goody two shoes singing kumbaya--he never did like church. But 57 years spent in Hell with exterminations seemingly getting worse every year, he barely managed to survive this one, made him get second thoughts. He saw the broadcast promoting the 'Happy Hotel' and was a little skeptical at first, however, soon changed his mind and checked in. He likes Charlie (she reminds him of a sister he had once) and finds her optimistic outlook refreshing, he enjoys playing music for her as a thanks for what she's trying to do (Also despite being flirtatious he will never flirt with Charlie because, again, she reminds him of his sister. Thats probably his other goal to get to heaven, too, his sister is up there). Everyone else is pretty cool he supposes--Alastor, though, he admires. You could say he is his biggest fan; not obsessive or anything but he thinks he's the bomb and sees him as an intellectual. He'd love to talk books with him some time. Plus, as a fellow New Orlean, he feels a prideful connection.

WELL zombieland hotel wasn’t smth i put a lot of thought to, aside from ‘ykno what would be neat.’ the plotline is a l m o s t identical to canon zls, except it’s still based around a hotel rather than idol biz.

katie is kotaru, a mysterious woman with a ‘tude who supposedly reanimated the main cast. she’s still as bitchy and self absorbed as ever, except she kinda softens up eventually? maybe?

tomis romero. whether he’s a masked sidekick or a literal doggo is up to u.

onto the zombies themselves! they use nicknames to conceal their true identities to the public (some of which are based around personal headcanons+viv’s old stuff!) charlie swaps with sakura, and goes by some variation of ‘lucifer’ as a stage name. she is merely a ‘puppet manager’ of the hotel, as katie is one taking the reigns behind the scenes. just like sakura she can’t remember anything of her past life, but tries to remain optimistic. in life, she was depressed from countless failures despite giving her all. her one last attempt at grasping success was to launch a hotel of her own,,which never made it bc she fucking died.

vaggie doesn’t really have a distinct role, but i’m leaning towards ai for her. her true name is irene, a prostitute(?) who was killed in 2014. she was very skeptical of katie’s motives, and initially refused to partake in any of the hotels plans. she’s v close friends with charlie, who helps her come around and accept her condition as a zombie. in turn, vaggie plays a major part in helping charlie come to terms with her misfortunate life.

angel, who switches with saki, went by martin in life. he was killed during a turf war in...the late 90s- i pushed his dod forward so it fits his arc better. he’s still a Bastard, didn’t take anything seriously at first, only seeing his revival as another chance to get reaaaal fucked up. Classic angel amiright. he comes to care greatly for his new friends, even pushing them to bring out their hidden potential!

much like vaggie, i couldn’t decide whether husk fits more with ai or junko. so...he kinda shares both? gabriel used to be a talented magician slash gambler, met a shocking end in the 50s from an unfortunate lightning strike. he’s very grumpy and reserved, preferring to keep to himself in the hotel’s tiny bar area...but steps out of his shell from time to time give his fellow frieonds words of advice.

niffty, real name dorothy, swaps with the ultimate princess....lily! trans niffty is real nifty! i don’t really have a lot for her, aside from she died around the 50s and she’s a massive bundle of energy with a bit of a mischievous streak. she’s eager to help with as much as she can, often working as a hotel maid.

alastor is tae bc who doesn’t love dumbass cannibals. millicent used to be a radio host during the roaring 20s and turned to killing after losing his job in wake of the great depression. he was shot in the head in 1933 and...hasn’t quite woken up since. this classy gentleman doesn’t say much, except flashing his trademark grin at onlookers. creepy, but it’s better than having this hungry zombie gnawing on u for lunch

and last but not least, pentious is yugiri! he was named percival, a brilliant victorian inventor who was executed in 1888 when his crimes came to light. he is...not very useful. more like an embarrassment with his ridiculous attempts to bond with the Younglings. he’s not very good with offering motivation either, often getting his point across with a literal smack. katie is reconsidering her choice.

bonus bc cherri is a queen. born isabella, she takes on maria’s role as angel’s daughter. she was barely a year old when her father perished, and has been under auntie molly’s care ever since. turns to crime to revive her father’s name, thinks she cld do better than him? idk. but she hates it when people bring up angel,,, esp “he wouldn’t have wanted you to turn out this way”

Dragalala or Ren Toriyama is an Goth Sinner and he the Only one who ruled the hell place the meta world. Unlike the other patients at The Happy Hotel, he's the only one so far to show absolutely no change to his behavior prior to when he was alive, but that doesn't stop him getting involved in various scenarios involving the main crew like Angel Dust and Alastor.

Personality: Dragalala abhorred Sinners for everything they were. In hell he goes by, his heart warms up to a sinner with similar interests and takes on a sensei-student style friendship with Charlie. He goes really aggressive or violently and more of a pain to get to know them rather than just kill or ignore them. He appears to dislike Angel sexual remarks, as when he flirt at him to look attractive.
