one headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart

I have one headcanon about how they died in the human world when they were still children, which is based on a fic I once read. It roughly fits with the time line so I liked it really  much. It’s about that they died following the atomic bombings in Japan in the 40s. (They probably met a bit earlier than 1945, but I still like this association)

What would be their theme song?

They kind of have a theme song. It’s simply their story, but I really like it. It’s “Gomi tame mitaina machi de oretachi ha deatta” sung by both their seiyuus. I especially really like Rukia’s part “itsumo dokodemo issho datta hoshi wo miru tame umaretanda” (”No matter when or where we were together, we were born to see the stars”). I could rage on an interpretation of this verse forever, it’s so beautiful!

Who cooks more/who is better at cooking?

I think it is actually Renji (I have this headcanon that his cooking is quite good actually). I think Rukia’s cooking is not that good but Renji likes to do it so they are both fine with it.
