sometimes I think of all the on-the-surface warm, well-meaning but deeply ineffectual advice and attention john gives harrow through harrow the ninth (make some soup and get some sleep! get a hobby! don't be so hard on yourself! self care harrow! as long as I need take no actual responsibility in this relationship whatsoever I would have loved to be your dad!) set up against the stark truth that with his other hand he has been staging her attempted horrific murder again and again and again like a living nightmare on the logic that it will 'put her down or fix her'. and then I find that I wish there is a hell. a special hell where twitch streamers turned necromantic death emperors go

i think every single person who was ever shamed as a little girl for liking feminine/"girly" things, while also being forced to be feminine, while ALSO being pitted against / forced to compete with other girls, should be allowed to kill whenever they want. btw.

I find it so painfully heartbreaking that Solomon just...laughs off all the derision, the name-calling, and possibly even did "evil" things on purpose because it's expected of him at this point. (He had not always been like this as Thirteen pointed out before). There was a time when he was "innocent". When his soul sparkled. When it resembled the kind of soul everyone in these god forsaken (pun intended with spite) three realms seemed to associate with the ever loved MC. He's just...worryingly carefree. And because he's like that, he feels even more of a tragic character to me.
Sometimes it even seems that he himself would seemingly make up excuses on why he's hated. Oh, it's because I'm a sorcerer this. I might have won a war against Devildom single-handedly this. I have forgotten. But maybe, I did something bad, that. Hon, you were doing that to SURVIVE. You don't have to be a faultless person to deserve compassion. You don't have to be MC to deserve to be loved.

Abandoned Voices, slowly falling asleep in the dark
It's been a year and a half since he passed and a year since I made this drawing. The sketch was made the day we found out, but I couldn't bring myself to finish it until several months later
I still miss him. I have a feeling I always will

I wish everyone who decided miss piggy needed to be thin in the middle even though she is a round-faced pig and therefore is allowed to be round and a fashion icon and diva and fabulous actress all while chubby, a very go crawl in a hole and stay there.

the most fucked up thing about the insanely long waiting times for UK gender clinics is that the ultimate TERF bugaboo is the scary trans woman who has made "no effort" to medically transition. that's the argument they jump to every time - the "why should we treat this man like a woman when all he's done is put on a dress?" - and it's patently absurd because like, what the fuck do you expect her to do? become a shapeshifter? get a back-alley boob job? magic up the funds for private healthcare out of nowhere? it's so moronic

Is it bad that a part of me wants to see Kuina (who beat Zoro at fighting over 2000 times, training to be the greatest swordswoman, acutely aware of what people say about her gender and how it impedes her dream) meet Sanji (refuses to fight a woman just because they're a woman), just to see what type of trainwreck ensues. I feel like it would either be awful or absolutely hilarious.

The bourgeois or "exploiting class" doesn't inherently include the person who gets their nails done biweekly, or the disabled person who has a carer, or the guy who got a $70 video game for full-price, or the person who relies on medication (yes even the ones you don't think they "need"), or anything else like this. None of these people will, on average, have the ability to exploit workers by means of ownership or whatever.
While you are busy fighting with fellow workers, you are still being exploited by your boss, by capitalism, by (potentially) not having healthcare, by being overworked and underpaid, and so are they.
