Guess I should post little tidbits of this WIP here haha. Fun fact the soldiers took me an hour to draw cause I had to design them from scratch and also their outfits (normal clothes stump me I am amazed I can make armour look like armour), and in the end they exist for half a second haha. Man I love animating

Another animation of the Dorktet, this time it’s Nagrom the water elemental mage and her forms!

She has platypus, snow leopard, canadian goose, human, and finally a creature I need to name that’s based on the Inuit mythological creature tizheruk, as well as a walrus and an orca.

I’m glad I got this to loop, it was fun to do!

Glitch is the last one to go!

My toonboom trial ends soon so for the last few days I’m going to be animating the dorktet shifting between their various forms, and to start it off here’s Xavier.

His forms are as follows: Ferret, Big horn sheep-fox, human, and kirin.

Sorry the frame rate dies at the end, I had very little sleep last night and it is now midnight and I really should be asleep lol

The final of the dorktet animations! Here’s Glitch, energy-water elemental with a specialty in electricity.

His forms are mole-newt, bat, white tiger, human (mage), and dragonfly-eel (originally firefly but I both work honestly).

Couldn’t think of a fancy way for him to turn from tiger to human so he just skipped that one, also he isn’t one to sit still in the dragonfly form so I didn’t make him pause. Had a lot of fun with this one and it was by far the most difficult of the dorktet animations to do.

Also tumblr’s alt text sucks, should I be putting a brief description there and maybe a longer version under a cut or something? Like a preview so visually impaired folks can decide if they want to know more about the image??

Silly little work doodle of the dorktet in their original animal forms (minus glitch because he didn't exist back then). Harold and Xavier were little frogs and Nagrom was a cheetah (originally originally she was a tiger but that would probably look like Glitch's tiger form)
