so I don't have the full context yet because I'm not near act 3 on my durge playthrough at the moment...BUT when I was originally creating him I fixated on a few things -- mostly the "injured beyond repair..." and the "my ruined body yearns to reap death in this world..." from the durge character intro. so I kinda went wild with it in my original concept! and then someone linked me an autopsy scar mod and I was like!! oh fuck yeah

so my running idea was that my dark urge was some sort of revenant that had been dead a long time before being zapped into the nautiloid and reawakened by the tadpole. part of me planned to have the tadpole extraction kill him / rip a further part of him out...but NOW THAT I HAVE MORE CONTEXT!!!!!!! (mainly the kressa journal + meta knowledge of gortash & oh my god bhaal . ) the autopsy thing / basically being a weird undead worked out really well lol??

anyways. i want him , above all else , to be an absolute Withered version of his former self. you have someone who goes from being at Peak Physical status to essentially being a walking corpse that is forced to lean into his spell-casting to make up for his staggering lack of physical strength.
