Well, maybe Moffat and Gatiss asked Dolly Wells and Claes Bang not to play love and sexual tension between Dracula and Agatha until the last line, but...
You know, there is the thing called honey trapping.
DRACULA
How did you know I was coming?
SISTER AGATHA
There is a man here you consider to
be your property.
DRACULA
My bride.
SISTER AGATHA
He is what drew you here, I think.
DRACULA
A bee can always find nectar.
SISTER AGATHA
And a trap always needs honey.
DRACULA
I don’t think this is a trap.
SISTER AGATHA
It wouldn’t be a very good trap if
you did.
I can't believe I've found, after YEARS, another story which is mainly focused on the villain/heroine and their connection. Not talking about all those other stories where a evil man desires/loves a virtuous woman, thought this my favorite kind of entertainment. I mean vxh where reciprocity is key, and their story speaks to not a particular love story, but as to love stories themselves.
Take away the carnage and different settings, and what do we really have in 3 episodes? Agatha, a curious fearless woman, eager to learn about a centuries long mistery of a man - to destroy him. And Dracula, out of equal curiosity and fascination, little by little allowing her in. Allowing someone in maybe for the first time, revealing himself. The parts that he exposes willingly and those he doesn't even know about, his deepest fear and his true nature.
A show that uses dark fantasy, vampires, supernatural elements as an allegory for a tale as old as time: a man meets a woman, and meets himself in the process.
Nun Integra and Nun Seras are literally so cute! Your AU is super interesting and I can’t wait to learn more about everyone’s relationships and dynamics with one another in this world!

As I said before, what is obvious is often not noticed. Dracula's confession in the second episode (‘Agatha, you're exquisite’) seems so natural that we don't think what it's about.
And it is about expectations and reality, from three sides, – Dracula, Agatha, and the viewer.
Agatha expected that when she offered herself to Dracula, she would be torn to pieces. Instead, she received a chandelier, a wine cellar, an interesting conversation, and an admiring look. There may be something else, but they don't show it to us.
But there's something much more important. When Agatha realized what was happening and where she really was, Dracula stood up and suddenly made this confession. Doesn't anything about it seem strange to you?
Yes. He talks about her. The psychopath and narcissist (as the viewer expects him to be) would be talking about himself. He would celebrate the victory. If Dracula were who he wanted to appear and who, perhaps, up to a certain point he believed himself to be, he would say something like the following. ‘You were here with me. You loved it. You ate out of my hands. You couldn't take your eyes off me. If I wanted, you would have allowed me everything.’
But he says something else. He talks about how beautiful she is. And thereby reveals both his personality and the secret of what is happening between them, and the degree of his confusion in the face of his feelings and the woman he fell in love with.
