Breaking Nerve: Joe Biden wins Arizona. I want Bernie to run as a Third Party, now.
Tumblr media
Breaking Nerv: Democratic Candidate Joe Biden has won the entire night. He has won the State of Arizona primary.
Where do we go from here now?
This was the worst defeat yet. We did not win anything tonight with the exception of the second majority of delegates. I’m pissed that we lost worse than what was expected. We needed this night more than ever.
On Twitter right now, Biden Supporter hacks and hypocrites are using #DropOutBernie to make Sanders suspend his campaign. This is not the Democratic way to get our votes.
So what are my thoughts for the future of his campaign?
In my opinion, I would like Bernie Sanders to run as a Third Party because we do not owe Joe Biden, the media, the DNC hacks, the Democratic Party, or the Biden’s supporters our votes. Do I believe he’ll run as a Third Party? I highly doubt it. But what choice do we have? We’re getting nowhere in this race.

The Primary: #DropOutBernie
Of course I followed the races closely and, on Twitter along with #KHive folk, added up the numbers and stats on my own. Here's the rundown:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So here are the stats as it presently stands, and how bleak it really is for Bernie.
Just like I had predicted. Last Tuesday's numbers did in fact break 1200 for Joe. It just took a bit to count them up.
There are 1,682 delegates remaining, 9 in states that have already voted that are yet to be awarded.
At this point, for Bernie to win he'd have to get 64% of the remaining vote, and I don't see Bernie doing that. He never got more than 55% in states he won, AND he loses more states than he wins.
So far, Biden has won 57% of all awarded delegates. If the trend continues, and he wins 57% of the remaining delegates, he gets 958. Here’s the thing: he only needs 777 to hit the 1,991 finish line. This is at the overall trend, but it gets worse for Bernie when you consider the sudden shift.
As you remember, there was a sharp turn that changed things: that moment when all the other candidates dropped out and put their support behind Biden. This vastly increased the momentum for Biden. Since that is the momentum of the election, this changes the averages.
There have been 1,994 delegates won since that moment, and Biden got 61% of that total instead of 57% of the overall total. If this trend continues and Joe gets 61% of remaining delegates, that's 1026, and this hugely sets an even harder hurdle for Bernie.
Bernie needs 64% of the remaining delegates to reach 1,991 finish line. Biden is on the 61% trend. And as I said, Bernie has never gotten even 55% of any single state he’s won. Yes, he's won states, but he's never won any of them largely. To put it in perspective:
Bernie Sanders biggest state wins:
North Dakota - 53.3%
Vermont 50.8%
Nevada 48.8%
Colorado 36.8%
Utah 35.3%
Joe Biden's biggest state wins:
Mississippi 81.1%
Alabama 63.3%
Florida 61.9%
Missouri 60.1%
Illinois 59%
In this top-five list, Biden’s 5th largest win is bigger than Bernie’s biggest win!
It gets worse: let's say for whatever reason the momentums are exchanged, and I’ll even be generous and use Biden’s lower, overall momentum level. So far, Bernie has won 39.5% of the total delegates awarded, while Biden has, as I said, won 57%, with 1,682 remaining. Let’s switch their momentum rate:
If Bernie won 57% of the remaining, he gets 958 of the remainder, leaving Biden with 724, or 39.5%. Add to the previously won totals, and even this scenario comes down to a finishing total of:
Biden 1938 - Bernie's 1,868
This would mean nobody finishes across the 1,991 finish line, but Biden would be significantly closer, meaning a contested race would most likely still swing in his favor, especially if the superdelegates consider who had the more diverse and more encompassing coalition of voters.
And that’s if the moments were exchanged. The odds of them switching is so insanely low, it’s utterly ludicrous to consider it. But even if it did, Biden still wins.
If all that hasn't convinced him his chances are bleak, and he still won't drop out and save people risking themselves to stand in line at polls, I just don't know what will. What does he expect to accomplish? And why can't he simply do what's right for the party?
He can’t use the argument of enthusiasm. Primary votes were at an all time high, to vote AGAINST Bernie, and for Biden, at a time when standing in those lines was a risk to health!
And if you think that health risk is going to make people not vote for the candidate, whoever it is, to take out the president who put us in that risk?
Bernie has no leg to stand on. It’s time for him to drop out.
And the fact he won’t, increases the ire of Democrats.

Not a good sunday for snders:
#DropOutBernie was trending #1 middle of the day on a sunday
he skipped out on Bloody Sunday in Selma Alabama to go to his pep rallies in California while all other candidates including steyer and buttigieg were in Selma
And he served as the catalyst for the break up of Public Enemy.
All following his loss in south carolina

#dropoutbernie is the number one trending tag on twitter and probably over half the reason it’s that high is because of bros using the hashtag to whine about its existence

#DropOutBernie He’s lost half the states so far. He got blown out in the latest state by 30 points. He just had a heart attack and he’s hiding his medical records. He praises brutal dictators. He’s an erratic and divisive bumbler. He can’t beat Trump. He’s not even a Democrat.

Almost everyone in the #DropOutBernie hashtag is a Sanders supporter, which only goes to support my position that no one has learned anything from 2016.

#dropoutbernie has been trending on twitter much of the evening/night. Not the first time. I've seen it get as high as #2
At what point is enough enough for sanders?
- Losing 2016 primary
- Campaigning for 5yrs
-Still managing to lose voters within those 5yrs
- Aware of Russian influence just like 2016
- Has a heart attack
- Back pedal on releasing full medical records
- Headlines of problematic affiliations
- Being called out on hypocrisy
- Still cannot convince black folks he's a better ally
- Still cannot turn out the youth vote
- Rampant misogyny
- Backpedal on m4a & immigration
Why didn't he run in 01 or 04? Bush was fine for him but clinton was an issue? Nonsense.
And if clinton was such an issue why didnt he run in 98 at that?
He has a habit of exaggerating things when he wants his way but when it's of no concern to him personally he doesn't do a hell of a lot to fight.
I'm supposed to believe anyone who is a billionaire is deprived of humanity but someone with millions and a few house on top of that is no big deal.
Even if sanders put a hit out on biden, got him taken out, & was handed the nom he would be made a fool of by turump. When i watch sanders hearings (what few unedited onea i can manage to find) it's disappointing at best. Watching him debates is frustrating and tiresome. You can repeat the same shit only so many times before it becomes white noise. We know the issue bernie we need realistic obtainable sustainable solutions. "Talkers talk and dreamers dream, i will find a place between." We don't have time or resources to aim for the moon right now we need to be climbing right now or we're going to go nowhere. Biden is proven moveable, sanders is not.
I still stick to my theory that a sanders presidency would result in numerous shut downs and/or impeachment. I do still think gop may want to try impeachment for biden but those claims against him have already been disproven so i figure they wouldn't take the risk. However they've never investigated sanders to my knowledge. Well there have been some...at least none regarding Russia yet
