Dry wasabi peas are so good are delicious, though you have to eat one at a time for your mouth not to burn.
This melted chocolate treat is also yummy, though unlike the treats above, they are not so healthy.
hello there, dear! first off, i have to address this: everything you put on your skin is a chemical, even water, even the air, even plant-based stuff. sometimes, the chemicals in the plant-based stuff are even a lot harsher than anything tailor-made in a lab. please read this post on common myths about green/clean beauty! let’s all educate ourselves and stop letting chemophobia and fearmongering take advantage of us.
now. here’s my moisturizer masterpost; when moisturizers don’t work for you, it can be an issue with the products, or an imbalance of your skin, the environment, your habits, etc. you gotta figure out if you’re dealing with dehydration or dryness, and then make your decisions from there. i recommend layering a rich, soothing moisturizer over top of a HA lotion or serum.
when it comes to dark spots, i have a whole post talking about products and actives to help with that here!
i have posted about sunscreen recs before quite a bit; for any skin types, some of the best options imo are the purito unscented, the la roche-posay shaka fluid, or the keep cool soothe bamboo sun essence. depending on what you want from your toner (hydration or exfoliation), the recommendations vary: for the former, check these out, for the latter i’m fond of missha’s artemisia treatment essence. for serums, pick something with an anti-hyperpigmentation active like vitamin C or azelaic acid. i have more recs for moisturizer on the masterpost i listed above.
hi there! sometimes dryness can be caused by internal factors or by environmental ones, not just what you put on your skin. bar soap and tea tree oil are also drying products; i recommend you switch your cleanser to a gentle gel or milky one to avoid dehydrating your skin. you can try reintroducing one of those hada labo products at a time, and you can even experiment by applying them on only one half of the face to evaluate their impact on your skin. it may also be the case that you need a richer moisturizer rather than just the water gel over top. best of luck with your experimentation!
i started reading Dry by Neal Schusterman and let me tell you, books that present actual possible plausible future scenarios scare the bejeezus out of me :)
