No warnings, but that was obvious enough considering the context 💀

We already know he drinks cold brew. I don’t think I can say anything else there.
Although I don’t think he’s against trying it with some flavors. He’d probably give the special ones a try, like the cookie butter or salted caramel. If he’s not fond of it or it’s not available, he gets it black. Sometimes there’s cold foam, sometimes there’s not.
Sett
This actually took me a while to think about. He’d definitely take one of the sandwiches, mostly in a croissant though he can also take it in a plain or everything bagel every now and then.
Takes a regular coffee with the sandwich, though sometimes black coffee, and then takes an orange juice to drink later.
K’Sante
Regular coffee or regular latte. He can take either iced or hot, but very much prefers hot in the morning. I feel like he’d also get a bagel with cream cheese, bagel’s toasted dark. He’d probably also pick up a water bottle for later.
Would also probably take the pancake wake up wraps if we ever bring those back.
Ezreal
He kinda looks like a signature lattes and frozen coffee kinda guy. I feel like he’d have the caramel craze with any frosted sprinkled donut. Boston creme works too. He might actually take a blueberry muffin if we ever run out of the one he wants for the day.
Aphelios (and Alune)
I feel like Aphelios would like tea. Any sort works for him, it just needs to be hot. He does take iced tea sometimes, but mainly any hot tea. Maybe with a dash of milk sometimes. I think he’d order hash browns as a small snack too.
He’d text Alune if she wants anything, which is usually a french vanilla iced latte. Other times, it’s the cocoa mocha signature latte. Throw in a glazed donut too.
Kayn
Hot black coffee kinda guy to be honest, though he may also snatch a coke/pepsi for later. Sometimes orders a sandwich if he’s really hungry. Doesn’t exactly care which sandwich but he’d probably get the bacon egg and cheese most of the time.

This Week’s Horrible-Scopes
It’s time for this week’s Horrible-Scopes! So for those of you that know your Astrological Signs, cool! If not, just pick one, roll a D12, or just make it up as you go along. It really doesn’t matter. Better yet! Check out “Heart of the Game, Fredonia” and see if they can sell you those D12’s with the symbols on them. Tell them “Shujin Tribble” sentcha. And “Hail, Hail, Fredonia!” Home of the Blue Devil!
These ‘Scopes are going out at the beginning of December, so it seems only right that everyone’s is based on a random regional dessert. So hold onto your taste buds and remember; Holiday Calories Don’t Count!
Aries
Starting us off in Central America, we’re visiting Honduras for you! And what a time to do it! Your dessert is “Rosquillas”, aka Spanish Donuts! Pair that up with some deep, rich coffee with cocoa and you’re ready to spend the afternoon napping from how stuffed you’ll be. So This Week… Brush up on your Spanish and get ready to enjoy the warm weather.
Taurus
Jumping over the water to Africa we’re landing you in Eswatini, formally known as Swaziland. English is still a popular language there, so you’ll be able to get around fairly well. So you’ll have to order Mafetsi. The closest known desserts would be “Donut Holes”, but they’re not as sweet as what you’d get in Dunkin’ or Timmies. This Week… Don’t call attention to yourself by asking for more sugar sprinkled on your order. Just say Thank You and go on your way.
Gemini
Not leaving Africa yet. We’re taking you slightly West into Botswana. They call it Malva Pudding, but really it’s more like cake on your fork as you eat it. There are a number of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks made there, including fermented maize and berries. But if you want something you’ll find close-to-home, grab a bottle of Ginger Beer. This Week… If you want a minty tea, why not try some… and the HELL is this?! I can’t pronounce this! “Kgomodimetsing”. Ask Google Translate to pronounce it for you when you order.
Cancer Moon-Child
Hopping over the Equator and landing in Eastern Europe we’re settling you into Belarus. What do you get when you mix wheat, berries, honey or sugar, nuts, raisins, and poppy seeds on Christmas Eve? You get a prophetic dessert known as “Kutia”. And we say “Prophetic” because you’re supposed to throw some at the ceiling before eating… and the number of grains that stick to the ceiling are used to predict the next year's agricultural prosperity. So This Week… Remember to set out a small bowl of the stuff outside for Father Christmas, or he’ll send the Krampus for you soon enough.
Leo
This one’s easy! Follow the setting sun and you’ll eventually make it to France for your desserts. You’ll want to have a cup of Demitasse Coffee ready to sip, because your dessert is all KINDS of sugar-filled. A digestible pyramid known as “croquembouche” (KROAK - ehm - boosh), it’s a bunch of tiny pastry puffs, welded into a confectionary caltrop with chocolate as the mortar. This Week… we know you didn’t pay attention in French class in high school. You just wanted to stare at the new young teacher. Well guess what? You need to remember all those lessons you’ve forgotten. How’s THAT for, “WhEn Am I eVeR gOiNg To NeEd To kNoW ThIs?!”
Virgo
Skipping over the Mediterranean Sea and across the Registan Desert, we stop off in Afghanistan. “Khetayee” are traditional Afghan cookies usually made with a handful of simple ingredients: flour, powdered milk, baking powder, icing sugar, oil, and ground pistachios! They’re not specific to any time of year, but they’re simple to make and are delicious. So This Week… double-check with your doctor that you don’t have a nut allergy to pistachios. That would be a bad time to find out that you do.
Libra
Ping-Ponging back across Europe, we’re settling into Luxembourg for you! Two out of the three common languages might be familiar to you: German & French. But the main one, Luxembourgish, might trip you up. No worries, because your dessert, “Äppelklatzen”, consists of apples that are lightly cooked with cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar, wrapped in pastry, then baked until golden-brown. It’s about as close as you can get to a Personal Apple Pie. This Week… Well you picked a great time for this since this is especially popular during the Christmas season. Learn how to speak some Luxembourgish and enjoy the nights!
Scorpio
Not done with Southern Africa just yet. We’re sweeping down the continent into Zimbabwe. Lots of languages to choose from, including English… and the American Dollar is also the official currency there too! You’ll get to try out “Chikenduza”, Zimbabwe Candy Cake. It’s a thick, yeast-based cake topped with a bright pink icing, shaped not too different from a large cupcake or muffin. So This Week… Find your sunglasses and wear them when you sample this delicacy - because calling it “bright pink icing” is not an understatement.
Sagittarius
A lot of African hits it seems. Well, let’s head to the west side of the continent and have you visit Sierra Leone. With a view of the Atlantic Ocean and a wonderful warm temperature, how about digging into Ginger Cake. The story goes that this confectionery treat is so sweet and heavy that if a driver eats it they will fall into a sugar coma and crash the car. So This Week… have a slice or two, but make sure you have a designated driver for afterwards.
Capricorn
Back to Central Asia you’re visiting Turkmenistan. The funny part about this is, you might already know one of the local sweets already and never knew it. “Nabat” are sucrose crystals of varying sizes which are grown on threads. Yeah, it’s basically Rock Candy on a String! And if you wanted to sweeten a drink like tea, you could just dunk it in and swish it around a bit. So This Week… relive your childhood and make some Rock Sugar Strings again.
Aquarius
Once more into the Romance Languages, we’re dropping you off in Spain with something that’s about to make you want to visit immediately. “Churros con Chocolate” is exactly what it sounds like: Churros with melted chocolate. We’ll forgive you if you wanted to use warmed Hazelnut spread instead, since it’s a Close Enough replacement. This Week… try to remember that you don’t need to use the Name Brand Stuff in your food. Generic stuff is just as good and FAR less expensive.
Pisces
And finally we finish you off in Zambia! One of the best parts about this country is the variety of fruits! Mangoes, watermelons, apples, oranges, papaya and pineapples get turned into smoothie drinks like crazy. And though there aren’t many local confectioneries, ice cream is very popular - especially mango as mentioned before. So This Week… learn the difference between a waffle cone and a sugar cone before you spend too much and get it all dripping on your shirt.
And THOSE are your Horrible-Scopes for this week! Remember if you liked what you got, we’re obviously not working hard enough at these. BUT! If you want a better or nastier one for your own sign or someone else’s, all you need to do to bribe me is just Let Me Know! These will be posted online at the end of each week via Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Discord and BLUESKY.

Something just hit me funny. Were having trouble getting into industries that we have to be in. It's a call to duty in those areas for whatever reason their business specialties either or or both need direct attention and I mean it this is emergencies is what they are and also a chance to get terrific Intel on why they're holding out money and what their plan is to grab ours and other and we need it now so I submitted my idea and it was for witches brew coffee and it's a type of coffee I'm told it is one where the cocoa plant which is actually what cocai is from and chocolate use the bean for coffee the meat for the chocolate and the white stuff that protects the beans for cocaine and that's what it is. And that's why there were so many coffee companies and cocaine makes plastic explosives and my husband is warning everybody we haven't seen that much ordinance or bombs from the clones and this is their move saying they're filling up the ships with them so people are moving out
Hera
Zues
That's good work by the two and she was saying there's so many Starbucks around and Tommy f had interest in dunkin' donuts about 50% and Krispy Kreme 100% we have to get moving on this now
Thor Freya
I supposed to disbanded us because of coffee there's a few other things but really the guys are weirdo he has to leave alone stuff so you should and she's a moron. What he was next door to ma benedetto town towards the cape he's complaining everyday of the noise this is jackhammer hey serious know how to use it and also the stuff and he followed the instructions okay. Didn't hit us he's sitting there doing it on purpose and his wife hated him and started a little fight and it ruins ma penitento was was our son in it may have been different but he's going to ruin it and he ruins every job our son gets so we're going to sue him in court I'm sick of him and he's fighting his clothes he is running around after Queen Elizabeth the first well he's trying to get her out cuz he doesn't have enough clones.
-this place is irritating but just saying and things is irritating as hell they're trying to help us make mistakes or be angry people and I don't want them around anymore this is a little too for now its heinous and they're heinous. I need people to volunteer to come in here and clear them out I need a lot of people

Number 1 for the random asks
1. Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts?
Oh I'm for sure gonna overthink this. Because in college, right, I almost always got breakfast at Wawa, so I didn't think to go to either of those, and I also don't drink coffee, so my go-to is cocoa (because I have not yet un-Pavlov'd myself to want a tasty beverage) and a chocolate chip muffin.
I think Starbucks cocoa is better, but Dunkin' has the better muffins. As *right now* Starbucks is closer to me and thus more convenient, I have to give them the edge.
Ask me things!

Michigan Move
This is set when Jack’s class were U-17s.
~
You finally landed at DTW airport. Your baggage was claimed and you were patiently waiting for your supposed “new family” to pick you up. It couldn’t be called a billet family because you weren’t playing, but they were acting as the same role while you helped work at NTDP. Your artistic talents had impressed NTDP coaches when your Broadway performance at the age of 15 caught their eye during a New York trip. Your grace stuck with the coaches as it was decided to add a dance component to the boys’ schedule for flexibility, agility, and movement purposes on the ice. Sort of like Dwayne Johnson’s “The Game Plan”, but with hockey. Looking down at your phone, you notice a text from your sort-of-billet mom, Ellen.
“Hi, y/n! I’m pulling up to baggage claim now. I’m wearing a navy blue coat.”
You look around for the blonde woman you had met on video chats a few times when discussing the logistics of staying with her family living a few minutes from the rink. By the exit, you notice a smiley Ellen meeting your eye contact. Picking up the pace, you meet in the middle and embrace in a comforting hug. Her warmth of personality makes your skin fuzzy as your home sickness starts to subside.
“Hi, Mrs. Hughes! It’s so nice to finally meet in person!” You offer her the largest smile you have at the thought of the friendly woman being the new motherly figure in your life.
“Oh hun, please call me Ellen. We’re so beyond happy to have you here! Let’s get in the car to warm you up, I’m sure the Michigan cold is pretty different from Los Angeles.” You had been in LA for the summer working on some songs with a friend from Broadway who was setting up a recording studio.
You follow her outside with your pink suitcase at your side. The outside air burns your lungs at the frigidness, but refreshes you with the comparison of recycled airplane air. Ellen insists on putting your luggage in the trunk. After your protests, you give up at her persistence of politeness and hop into the passenger side of the black car.
Seconds later, Ellen meets you in the car and quickly turns up the fan on the heat. She rubs her hands together and shivers.
“I bet you wish you were back in LA right about now.”
You laugh.
“It sure is cold, but there’s no doubt I’d rather be anywhere else right now. I’m so excited!”
The ride is peaceful as country music softly plays in the background and you and Ellen casually chat.
“Y/n, have you ever had Tim Hortons before?” She asks as you pass a highway sign advertising the spot at the next exit.
“No, I don’t think I have.” Out of the many places you’ve traveled for your craft, you’ve never been in the Canada-Michigan area before.
“Oh you’re kidding! We have to go. It’s a must have here. It’ll warm you up real nice to have the hot cocoa by the fire.” Ellen pulls off to the next exit. “We better get something for the boys and Jim or else they’ll be jealous.”
The drive through line had maybe fifteen cars lined up, so you parked in a spot right by the door.
Once inside, the sweet goodness of Tim Horton’s delighted you and reminded you of your East Coast Dunkin Donuts delights and West Coast Krispy Kreme endeavors.
You order a hot chocolate while Ellen orders everyone their own hot chocolates and a dozen donuts for the six of you to share.
After insisting on carrying the most, while balancing the box of donuts and a cup holder of three hot chocolates, you use your hip to push open the door. Ellen quickly runs over to your side and open the passenger door.
With Waze reading 10 minutes away from your new home, you start to get a little jittery at the thought of living with only boys besides the comfort of Ellen. She notices as you bounce your leg and look out the window.
“They’ll love you. Don’t worry. I know it’s intimidating, but you’ll quickly realize they’re nothing to be scared over.”
You nod your head in hopes of truth in her statement. You hoped they’d like you. Ellen had discussed her three boys earlier in the car ride. Luke was 13 turning 14 in about a week, Jack 16, and Quinn 17 - turning 18 in a little over a month. Jack was your age. You turn 17 in January, 4 months before Jack will.
Pulling into the driveway, you take a quiet deep breath and lift your body up from the heated leather seat. Grabbing your suitcase and the donuts, you creep behind Ellen at a slower pace as she walks to the front door with keys in hand. Unlocking the front door, Ellen turns around and passes you a genuine smile of reassurance.
You step into the beautiful home with your eyes immediately dawning on the makeshift sign over the staircase reading, “Welcome to Your New Home, Y/n!” You flushed at the act of kindness. It was clearly done by the boys with the different fonts of manuscript and a hockey stick incorporated into the “L” of welcome. You made a note to thank them when you met them, seeing they didn’t seem to be home with Ellen’s searching for the other occupants of the home and realization of the cars missing from the garage and driveway.
“Let’s get you settled and started on this hot chocolate, yes?”
You left your suitcase in the vacant room at the end of the hallway, now apparently yours. You were dying to read your favorite book by the living room fire place the second you saw the historical looking piece of architecture. You got comfortable with the blanket Ellen had pointed out in the living room and occasionally sipped on the hot chocolate before placing it down on a coaster engraved with “Hughes” in it.
An hour passed by without you realizing it. The front door shut, causing you to look up. You met eyes with an older looking man and a young boy.
“Y/n! It’s great to have you here! I’m Jim. We met a few times on the video calls. And this is Luke.” The young teen flashed you a smile at the sound of his introduction.
“It’s so very nice to meet you both. Thank you so much for your hospitality and willingness to take me in. My family and I are forever grateful.”
“It’s our pleasure. We have to support the hockey community whether you’re on or off the ice. We appreciate what you’re doing to improve the boys’ skills. Speaking of, Jack and Quinn should be right behind us. They took a separate car to the game we just came from.”
You continued your conversation with Jim and Luke when the front door flew open, nearly knocking Luke down.
“Sorry bout that Luke. Had to get it open with no hands.” A hands-full boy shuffled into the foyer. He met eyes with you and smiled. “Hi! I’m Quinn. The idiot who forgot to fill up the gas tank and made the way back ten minutes longer because of the gas line is Jack.”
An attractive Jack entered the door while turning his head towards your direction with Quinn’s attention facing you. The small smile resting in his face made you feel special to have been the subject of the sweet joy. Your eye contact was interrupted by Luke’s voice.
“Did you get Timmy Horton’s?”
“Yeah,” you slightly chuckled. “There’s some in the kitchen for all of you.” Your words caused a big smile to grace each other their faces, including Jim. After Jim excused themselves, you nodded, and they rushed to the kitchen. You smiled at their glee.
You decided to head upstairs and finally unpack. Most of your things weren’t here yet and would have to be shipped out, but you needed to bring your backpack for schoolwork and some clothes to last about a week until the packages arrived.
You laid your pink suitcase on the floor and started organizing your clothes in a way you’d appreciate on busy mornings getting ready.
About halfway through, you heard a knock on the open door frame. Pausing your AirPods, you turned to see Jack standing at the entrance.
“I was just wondering if you needed a hand with anything.”
His kindness allowed a gentle smile to stay on your face.
“Thank you, Jack, but I think I’m all set.”
“Alright, well if you need me, my room is the one right across.” You followed his pointed finger to see the open door of a light gray room with occasional accents of dark blue. Thanking him, you went back to work.
You had just finished your first dinner with the Hughes family. It was peaceful. You started to understand the dynamics a little more. Luke was pretty outspoken. Jim mostly listened quietly while Ellen listened and asked questions with a smile. Jack and Quinn were fairly talkative, but let Luke talk your ear off for the meal.
You offered to help Quinn wash the dishes and he accepted.
“Are you excited to work with the NTDP?”
“Yeah, I mean it’s a little nerve racking being new. Especially because I’m not necessarily good at hockey or anything.”
“I think it’ll be different. A good different. The boys all seemed pretty excited when they heard. I wish you started before I started playing with Michigan.”
“Do you stay here and commute over?”
“No, I mostly stay there, I just visit home sometimes on the weekends and wanted to be here today to meet you.”
“Oh, thank you! Your family has been really kind. My favorite would have to be the banner though.”
Quinn laughed and looked up at you from the dish he was washing.
Dinner had caused you to thank them for making the Welcome Home banner. It elicited an argument of who did what. Luke claiming he wanted to write the words when Jack forced him out, hence the different fonts. And Quinn mentioning he added the hockey stick on the “L” as the two boys beside you were bickering.
You headed up to bed after wishing Quinn a goodnight before Ellen embraced him in a tight hug and sent him away with a plate of cookies, back to the university.
You were a little restless as the clock read 1 am. Your brain thought it was 11pm. You put your phone down after scrolling and got up to wash your face, moisturize (the airplane’s dryness definitely didn’t help), and put on your pjs. You entered the connecting bathroom with your toiletries and pajamas, quickly getting ready for bed. You didn’t have to leave until 10 because the boys would be at school until 11. You were online schooling with the program you used in LA from your hometown, allowing you to still take classes with your friends, just online.
You shut your bedroom light off. You closed your bedroom door as you looked at the bedroom door Jack had closed two hours before. He has to leave at 7:30 and didn’t seem to happy about it.
“I see absolutely no point in forcing literal children to muster crap out of their brains at 8 am and expect them to be able to be attentive, intelligent, and willing to switch their brain every hour with a new class. It’s madness!” He ranted as he sat on the beanbag already shipped out in the corner of your room. He decided to come visit after dinner. Your question of how he liked school set him off.
You laughed at his clear dramatic distress.
“Sucks to suck.”
He playfully glared at you for that one.
You plugged in your phone and tried to settle in while memories of the day rested in your mind. Little nervous pins had been dancing on your skin all day. You took deep breaths to try to calm down and let yourself think about what’s to come in the next day.
~
To be continued.. (if y’all want)
I plan for this to be a multi-part series. I have so many exciting ideas for this. We haven’t even gotten to the good parts with part 1. Please let me know if you want more parts (I hope do because I personally love the concept of the plot). Thank you for patience and sticking around after a rough patch! All love <3

day 6: hot cocoa: fetch
Originally written November 14, 2021
Gretchen doesn't usually consider her girlfriend a heathen. But this is crossing the line.
"It is DECEMBER!" Gretchen yells, alarmed. Karen only smiles and meets her eyes as she takes another sip of her drink. "WHY ARE YOU DRINKING A BLENDED... CHOCOLATE... THING?"
"It's tasty," Karen replies, laughing at her girlfriend's emotionally distraught (and very loud) state. "Hot chocolate has a weird aftertaste."
"Not if you do it right!" Gretchen sighs and throws a hand dramatically over her forehead. "I cannot date you any longer, you Hellhound."
"You're the Hellhound here, Gretch. You drink blazing hot tea in the summer. I'm more of a... mm... ice queen."
"Yeti," Gretchen challenges. Karen shrugs.
"Fine, yeti. I think a Hellhound is objectively worse."
"Was that the correct use of that word?"
"Probably not."
So Gretchen sets off on her quest to get Karen some good hot chocolate and put her off these demonic blended drink ideals. First stop: Dutch Bros. She knows what Karen means about the Starbucks cocoa aftertaste, but not all hot chocolate tastes like that.
"Here," she says, nearly throwing the cup at Karen in the passenger seat, who takes it and takes a tiny sip.
"Hmm."
"You like it?"
"It's sorta flavorless."
"It has more flavor than your chocolate infused ice chips!" Gretchen snatches back the cup.
"Hey!"
"I thought you didn't want it!"
"I don't want it," Karen says, looking at the cup, resigned. "This is simply proving my point."
"Your point is invalid!" Gretchen gestures out the window at the snowy roads. "Your drink is the same temperature as the outside world!"
"And? What if I like to freeze my soul and my two remaining brain cells?"
Gretchen just shakes her head as they continue driving down the road.
"Where are we going now?" Karen asks after a while.
"McDonald's," Gretchen replies.
"McDonald's?" asks Karen. "Come on. That's really gonna prove my point."
"It's on the way to Dunkin'."
"Ah, yes, Dunkin Donuts, the place everyone goes to for their hot chocolate," Karen teases. Gretchen swats her gently on the arm.
"Hush. I'm doing this for you."
"You're doing it so you can have bragging rights."
"Maybe."
McDonalds disappoints them both. "Point for you," Gretchen admits, wrinkling her nose. Karen grins and takes the cup from her, taking a huge sip and quickly regretting it.
"Point for me," she agrees, nodding. They end up throwing the full cup in the trash, giggling in the car all the way to Dunkin Donuts.
The drive-through ends up closed off, so Gretchen, having lost the last round, has to go inside and order while Karen waits in the car. After a few minutes, she emerges from the door, holding a cup and a bag.
"They were having a buy one get one free sale on glazed donuts. Here." Gretchen removes a donut from the bag and passes it and the cup to Karen, who takes a substantial bite.
"Mm. 'S good."
"Yeah?" asks Gretchen. Her eyes go wide when she takes a tiny nibble of the donut and proceeds to shove nearly half of it into her mouth. "I haven't had one of these in months."
"Try the cocoa, Gretch." Karen hands the cup to Gretchen. "It's sort of a letdown after the donut."
"Oh yeah?" she asks, taking a small sip. "Oh. Yeah. It's still good, though."
"It's pretty sweet," Karen observes, taking another bite of her donut.
"Care Bear, you're literally eating sugar bread covered in more sugar sauce. I don't think you get to talk about your cocoa being too sweet."
"Fair." Karen takes the cup back from her girlfriend and dips what's left of her donut in it. "That is good. Try that." Gretchen nods and does the same.
"It is good. Did I win this one?"
Karen shakes her head. "The hot chocolate was good, yeah, but blended's still better."
"You disgust me."
"I love you too."
"Frozen drinks in the middle of December. What sorcery is this?"
"Thank you for all the cocoa."
"Oh, I'm not done! I won't be done until you get your head in the game."
"Okay, baby. Love you."
"Frozen cocoa. A disgrace."
Karen just laughs at her excitable girlfriend as they set off toward Caribou Coffee. "Look it up on Yelp, would you?" Karen nods.
"Already on it." It takes a few attempts for her to find the right keyboard, but she gets there in the end. "People seem to like it. The only complaints are about the actual coffee bit, so I think we're in the clear."
Gretchen nods. "Alright. Could you pull up some directions? I don't really know where I'm going. I don't come to this side of town often."
"Yeah, definitely. There's one in two miles and one that's five miles but closer to home." She peeks over at Gretchen for her opinion.
"Go for the five miles," Gretchen says, looking over at the phone before speeding back up. "Thanks, babe. I love you."
"Love you too."
When they arrive at Caribou, they're faced with a choice. "Would you like milk, white, or dark?" Gretchen glances at Karen, who just shrugs.
"All three?" she asks hesitantly.
"Sure."
"All three," she repeats to the cashier, who doesn't even react. She can't help but wonder how often this happens.
They head back to the car after a bit of waiting for their drinks. "Okay," says Gretchen, "since all the rest of the cocoas are milk chocolate, I say we go for the dark and white first."
"Sure," Karen says again, popping one of the lids off to figure out which one's which. "I've got the... white chocolate, I think."
Gretchen does the same. "I have the dark. Perfect. Cheers." They tap their paper cups together.
"Okay. That is good."
"Oh my God, yeah, it is."
"It's not too sweet?" asks Gretchen, raising an eyebrow. "I mean, it's white chocolate."
"No, it's really not! Here. Gimme." They trade cups, and Gretchen's eyes somehow go wider.
"That tastes really good," Karen admits. "I think you won."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. You win."
"Well, Care Bear, I already won."
"What do you mean?" asks Karen, confused.
"I won the minute I met you," Gretchen says softly, and pulls Karen in for a chocolate kiss.

What Creepypastas would get from Dunkin' Donuts.
What's my qualifications to say what they would drink? Easy, I work there. And just an FYI, all drinks listed are drinks I've actually had to make.
------------------------------------
Slenderman: Extra-large black coffee. Splendorman: Large iced (decaf) caramel craze latte, 8 total pumps of caramel. Trendorman: Extra-large coffee, 15 cream. Tim: Large black coffee. Masky: 16 shots of espresso (that's 22 ounces..). Brian: Large hot latte, two extra shots of espresso. Hoodie: Extra-large coffee (dark roast) with two espresso, 5 cream, 4 sugar. Toby: Large iced caramel macchiato with 6 pumps caramel, two extra espresso, caramel inside the cup, whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Jane: Large hibiscus tea with 2 honey. Jeff: Small hot coffee 8 cream, or a Charli remix (when he's alone) EJ: Large coldbrew black with no ice. LJ: Large coldbrew with 10 caramel, 4 vanilla bean, 7 cream, 7 sugar, 1 shot espresso, served with a dome lid and filled to the top with coldbrew. (The only coldbrew in the drink is what the lid holds.) BEN: Strawberry energy punch, half syrup, light ice, 3 pumps liquid sugar. (If you're gonna get an energy punch, this is the only acceptable way to have it.) Sally: Small frozen chocolate, 3 pumps mocha syrup, extra scoop of cocoa powder, served in a medium cup and filled with whipped cream
And now add OC's for fun....
True (belongs to @bowtied-pasta): Large iced coffee, 10 caramel 8 cream (I don't really know much about True, but they seem sweet so I feel like that's the coffee they would drink.). Eleanor Turner (mine): Large frozen coffee with 3 caramel, 3 mocha, 3 vanilla, and whipped cream (it tastes similar to a chocolate-chip cookie). Dana (mine): Large hot coffee, 12 cream, 12 sugar.
