About language brainrot. Imagine writer creator reader who finally learns how to write in Teyvat's weird symbols and they want to publish their book. They decided to do it anonymously to avoid the "aaaaaah our creator wrote the holy scripture" sort of situation. Except it didn't work. The reader's style is too different from the rest of the world, so even if they tried to simulate the flowery speech it wasn't effective.

Another thing. Reader who decided to read some local books to practice their reading. They asked for something simple and similar to their speech. But the only books merely similar to it are 2000 and more years old. It's funny how the older text is the more you can understand it. On this note. If reader write something i feel like it would be hard to understand for Teyvat's people.

Imagine a reader who is autistic or has any other NDs imparing their communication skills. They practically trained themselves to say sertain phrases in sertain situation. But it doesn't work in Teyvat. And everything just stacks at each other. Difference in speech, being a God (so people react weirdly to you), bad communication skills, not understanding nonverbal cues and so on. There's gonna be a lot of misunderstanding. I imagine how followers would walk on the eggshells not to upset and angry their God and reader who does the same not to say something people will get wrong. Again.

Reader who regained all their memories of creating Teyvat, they're super powerful and stuff. But they still struggle with the modern language. Because all the memories are like millions years old.

...he escorts you behind the restricted section towards the back filled with glass display cases.

(Several of which contain the most ancient looking sets of artifacts you've ever seen)

...Finally, u arrive at a long glass case of several clay tablets.

Half of which sound like they're from the 1910s-20s, and the other, even older half, sounding straight out of the 2000s..

you , shuichi , kaito , and maki were walking home together. kaito referred to it as a sort of “ double date ”.

finally , you all made it to the bus stop — maki busy chewing out kaito for some stupid ( and could possibly result in something bad ) thing he did , much like how a parent would scold their kid due to protectiveness.

you looked at your phone. the bus wouldn’t arrive in another twenty minutes , you guys were early. it was around 9 PM , so no one was around besides you four.

you took the opportunity.

whispering in shuichi’s ear , quiet enough so that the other duo wouldn’t hear a thing , you said — “ the bus won’t arrive for a while. can you follow me? ”

shuichi looked at you with a questioning look , but didn’t say a thing as he slowly nodded.

you wrapped your hand with his and walked off towards a damp ( but surprisingly cleaner than you expected ) alley , far enough from them as they were continuing to talk to each other.

his hand was warm despite the chilly air , almost making you want to just hold him and never let go. but , you had other plans.

you quickly pinned him against the wall. a small yelp was emitted from him , but not too loud as to not draw maki and kaito over. you let out a small puff of cold air from your mouth , looking at his lips.

“ i hope you don’t mind me doing this. ” you briefly stated before diving in on them , kissing and holding his shoulders against the cold brick.

you felt him tremble , a small noise coming from him. you separated and put a finger over your lips.

“ shh , we don’t want them to hear , right? ” you didn’t let him answer as you dove back in.

he snaked his hands around your back as best he could with his shoulders being pinned , pulling you closer. you teased his bottom lip by running your tongue against it.

you felt him part his lips slightly , an invitation for you to move in. you gladly accepted.

you felt his tongue stay normal , away from yours , his timid actions pointing for you to take the lead.

his mouth felt so warm — so heated despite the chill of the night.

you moved your hands to rest on the sides of his neck. you felt him shiver as he felt the contrast of his warm skin against your cold fingers. pulling away , you heard him breathe out —

“ s - someone’s gonna hear us !! we’re so out in the ope — ”

“ it’ll be fine , ” you moved aside his scarf to hang around his neck , exposing the front. you then moved to unzip the top of his jacket , just so his neck would be fully on display to you. “ unless you’d like to back out? last chance. ~ ”

shuichi contemplated this. one part of his mind had no clue what you were doing , but that it’d risk his two friends catching the both of you and he’d get tremendously teased for this , as kaito would end up spilling what he’d seen to the school.

but the other half … sort of liked this. it was exciting — and it’s not like you were doing anything too explicit , so it’d be fine … right?

“ con … continue. ” he murmured to you. he was fisting the back material of your jacket , pulling you as close as you could get.

you leaned your head forward to a patch of his neck , first leaving a small kiss and then nibbling. then after a couple of seconds , you bit down softly — giving him a few meager seconds to get used to it before biting harder.

shuichi retreated one of his hands to cover his mouth. he wasn’t a masochist ( or so he thought so , anyways ) , but damn did it feel special with you.

you moved lower and bit down there too , leaving now two blotches on his neck. you moved to the other side.

just to tease him , you bit extra hard on this one place — soon figuring out that it was a sort of achilles heel.

“ a - ah — !! ” he let a small moan out , leading him to clench his teeth.

instead of moving to another spot , you attacked that splotch of skin repeatedly — increasing the level of strength in each closing of your teeth. shuichi was struggling to keep quiet , letting out a few whimpers when he couldn’t fully suppress a moan getting out.

finally , you moved to the middle — and being careful , you bit down on his collarbone.

shuichi's legs were shaking. still , he kept you close. his whole body was heating up , and despite the frigid breezes coming every so often , he was sweating.

“ nngh … (s/o) !! … ” he whispered , the last part coming out as a soft whine.

you checked the time again. ten more minutes.

you bit down harder on the opposite side horizontally.

his grip tightened on your jacket , his figure starting to slump down. you merely smirked at his meek gestures.

“ (s/o) , please — !! hah !! … ” shuichi let out a strained sound as you moved one hand to his waist and hit harder.

soon enough , his neck and collarbone were peppered in sweet bites and kisses from you ; the pain not registering in at first. that could wait till later.

for now …

your phone buzzed with a text from maki saying , “ where are you guys ”

you removed your hand from shuichi’s neck , showing him the text before answering her with — “ just on a walk. sorry to scare you guys , just figured you were busy and we didn’t wanna disturb you. we’ll come back soon ”

you kissed shuichi on the lips before zipping up his jacket.

“ people are going to see that! … ” shuichi muttered to you , as a stray hickey or two were still visible above the scarf he was currently tying on.

“ that’s the point. ” you replied.

when you both got back to the bus stop , you holding onto shuichi’s arm , maki gave you both a suspicious look as kaito scolded you two for “ walking off to who knows where ” and scaring the both of them.

if maki saw the marks , she didn’t say anything about them. you’d explain later on the bus anyways if she asked.

a few minutes later , the bus came by. the four of you sat in the back , you with shuichi. you moved your head to lay on his shoulder , shuichi’s head moving to rest on top of yours. as you hugged each other , one thought came to rest in both of your minds.

i wouldn’t rather be with anyone else but you.
