5 Things You Never Get Tired of Writing

Setting! I love settings. What season is it? Where are they? What is the time? It’s like painting a picture. Even if the setting isn’t crucial to the story, I feel better having it down in my mind. It makes everything else flow a little better when I know where the characters are.

Dialogue. Dialogue is so fun and there are so many different ways you can weave it into a story. Done right, dialogue can tell the reader more about the character than just laying down the facts. You know—show, don’t tell. What do they say, and how do they say it? What don’t they say? How do the other characters interpret their words?

Oceans and forests. This could go under setting, and maybe it should, but I have a lot of feelings about these. They’re very, very important to me personally, and I think they deserve their own paragraph. I spent most of my childhood in the woods. I fell in love with the seas so long ago I can’t remember a time when I didn’t. They both get added into whatever I write whenever I get the chance. My writing is me and the trees and the oceans are a part of me, too.

Intimacy. I like intimacy. I like physical contact with the people I love. Intimacy isn’t always sexual. I like platonic touches, cuddles and hugs and hand-holding. And also sexual intimacy; I love the idea of trusting someone enough to show them all of you. Enough to willingly place your pleasure in their hands, completely vulnerable and stripped bare (physically and mentally).

Domestic fluff. I like angst, and action, and smut as much as the next person. But I also love the smaller things. I like cooking in the kitchen with people I love, and grocery shopping, and spending nights together in the living room doing nothing but enjoying each other’s company. Simple isn’t always bad. Sometimes you need simple, both in fiction and in your own life.

BRUUUUH. Okay my EJ is about 6’9 if I remember right, and pretty muscular, but my Slender is well over 7’ and JACKED. My GOD. I’m shorter than you and imagining it on even if is fucking hilarious. This is a wonderful idea and both of them would for sure let you borrow their shirts in the first place.

Jack makes sure that it’s a comfortable shirt that wouldn’t be too heavy or smothering on you, and makes sure that it’s not too revealing and that you’re nice and happy with how it fits you.

Slender would make sure to fit it around you in a fashionable but comfortable way, and it ends up looking like a stylish dress much more than it would a shirt, but he’s happy with how it looks and makes sure you’re nice and cozy despite drowning in all the fabric.

I don't care what any Rina says, Gina was a selfish and disloyal girlfriend to EJ. I loved them together but he deserves better than Gina, who proved herself to be selfish and immature when they were dating. Their scene together this season felt so bittersweet. I felt so sad for him. I know she didn't technically cheat but I mean she barely waited 5 minutes to get with Ricky...it's giving 'traitor'. Not only that I've seen people shipping Josh and Sofia and if they're together that's fine (strongly doubt it though), but I hate that people dogged on all of us for liking Sofia and Matt together, which was a completely legal age difference, and then go and ship Sofia and Josh, who also have an age gap. Yes it's a smaller gap than Sofia and Matt's, but only by two and a bit years! And at least there was actual evidence that Sofia and Matt were together. Josh and Sofia shippers are just pulling things out of their asses!!
