it’s always interesting the way fandom sizes impacts creator visibility (like with supply and demand) but i’m especially thinking abt it rn bc i almost only ever write krbk which is such a big ship inside a huge fandom so i expected Nothing posting kagepro fic but half the people who read it left comments which is a crazy ratio. like i knew kagepro fandom is going thru a Renaissance rn and it’s a very cozy caring dynamic but i was always thinking “kagepro fandom small i will get 50 views tops” but in the end cozy and caring wins out over small in terms of engagement which is interesting 

#largely though i have found krbk fandom to be extremely supportive and always excited to consume more content #manifestation of the 'holy shit two cakes!' meme #i mean we've all read 'bkg has nightmares and knocks on kirishima's door at 2 am' and we will all read it Again if a new one is posted #so like no matter what i post i'm never really worried that people will see and read it #the other thing i'm thinking abt is the ll youtaite commu #and how like #the only reason i have as many subs as i do is that i got in early #just out of sheer coincidence i made my channel Right before the number of ll youtaite really started spiking #ESPECIALLY english cover youtaite. like english covers weren't new as a concept but that became a huuuuge subgenre for ll ytt #and the only reason i got so much attention when so many other channels (making better content than i started w) didn't take off (as fast) #was bc i was there first ksdjgf #idk something abt supply and demand #virtual idol groups are very very cool but other than interlunium (and legacy also probably) none of them really have Names in the commu #and that's bc interlunium did it First #so in a lot of people's minds they are The virtual idol group #netting a lot of (deserved!) support from people who only really want to support One group and won't listen to others #the supply exceeds the demand #but this is just a rant at this point #personal
