Giorno 5 semplice e veloce.

Cibaria. Pasta Day. Finalmente possiamo essere NOI. La pasta è pratica, facile da preparare, veloce e poche cose da lavare. Il menù prevede: - spaghetti con pomodorino fresco, basilico e cozze; - Penne rigate, olio evo, sale, provolino a cubetti, pomodorini gialli, mais, tonno al naturale, basilico in foglie, majonese; - spaghetti, sale, olio evo a crudo, limone succo, aglio, basilico; - carote in pinzimonio; - noodles pocket; - uva bianca; - ricotta; - pane ai cereali a fette; - gelato alla frutta (preferibilmente pesca); - crostata all'albicocca; - crostata amarena.

Motorkleding uitgelegd

Wat moet een motorrijder minimaal aan motorkleding bezitten en wat kost het? Je kunt het natuurlijk zo gek maken als je zelf wilt, de keuze mogelijkheden zijn enorm en de prijzen ook. Kwaliteit heeft ook z’n prijs. Denk ook na over dit: opmerkelijk dat mensen €200 voor een paar Nike’s uitgeven of zelfs meer dan €900 voor een Canadese ganzenjas maar niet aan beschermende motorkleding. Het gaat om je eigen veiligheid, daar moet in geïnvesteerd worden. In dit bericht kun je lezen aan welke bedragen je ongeveer moet denken voor een goede en veilige motor outfit.

Zo Duur? Zo goedkoop?

We laten 2 uitersten buiten beschouwing:

1 – Goedkoop spul verkrijgbaar bij de bouwmarkt, Lidl en China-meuk. Meestal zonder keurmerk en kwalitatief niet van een degelijk niveau om je echt te beschermen in geval dat het nodig is.

2 – Top-segment kleding, als beginnende motorrijder zou dit niet het eerste advies zijn. Ga eerst maar een poos rijden om te zien of je motorrijden echt leuk vindt. Word je een doorrijder (zomer/winter) en doe je meer dan 10.000km per jaar dan wordt dit pas interessant.

Must Have (verplicht?)

Tijdens het lessen is het verplicht om beschermende motorkleding te dragen, daarna (vreemd genoeg) niet meer. In Nederland is alleen de Motorhelm verplicht, wij vinden een motorjas en broek met voldoende bescherming, motorlaarzen en motorhandschoenen een minimale outfit.

Wil je naar het buitenland dan is deze outfit vaak wel verplicht!

Vanuit EU regelgeving moet alle beschermende kleding en andere bij motorrijden behorende accessoires voorzien zijn van een Europees CE keurmerk. Al onze IXS, GC, Macna en Evo kleding is voorzien van dit keurmerk.

Helm

Grofweg zijn er 3 categorieën helmen te onderscheiden.

De jet-helm, de helm zoals deze ooit is bedacht en nog steeds in kleine aantallen verkocht wordt. Chopper- en scooterrijders zijn een grote doelgroep.

De integraal helm heeft een vast kinstuk en is nog steeds een veel verkocht model. De helm heeft een sportief imago.

De systeemhelm is vergelijkbaar met een integraal helm alleen is het mogelijk om het kinstuk omhoog te klappen. Dit type helm is de laatste jaren het best verkocht en met name voor brilrijders erg handig.

Ook erg lekker om in je helm te hebben zijn een Pinlock (voorkomt dat je vizier gaat beslaan) en een geïntegreerd zonnevizier.

Een minimum bedrag voor een goede helm begint rond de €200,- Jethelmen zijn wat goedkoper.

HJC is de grootste helmfabrikant ter wereld, dit is bereikt door zeer goede helmen te maken tegen een scherpe prijs.

Motor jas en broek

Ten eerste is er natuurlijk de keuze tussen leer en textiel. Een goede textiel jas doet zeker niet onder voor een lederen exemplaar qua veiligheid. En een goede dure leren jas kan tegenwoordig ook waterdicht zijn hoewel dit meestal dmv een voering werkt. Qua prijs hoeven ze niet veel uit elkaar te liggen maar ook in leer is veel verschil in kwaliteit waardoor je al vrij snel duurder uit bent. Veel textiel jassen zijn wel waterdicht* en voorzien van 1 of meerdere losse voeringen. All season jassen hebben vaak zelfs 2 uitritsbare voeringen, 1 waterdichte en 1 warme voering. Dit heet een 3laags jas en geschikt om ook in de winter mee door te rijden.

Let bij de aanschaf van de jas op het aantal protectoren, zit er ook een rug-protector in, of moet je die er nog los bij kopen? Dan kan een goedkope jas opeens flink duurder worden.

Basis motorjas €200 en motorbroek €150.

Casual

De laatste jaren is het aanbod van casual motorkleding enorm gegroeid. Spijkerbroeken versterkt met kevlar en hoodies met vele protectoren. Ook hier geldt weer laat de goedkope varianten links liggen, deze geven schijnveiligheid. De protectoren zijn vaak erg dun en voldoen nét (of zelfs niet) aan de veiligheidskeurmerken. Sneakers zien er tof uit maar neem wel de variant met half-hoge schacht om je enkel stevigheid te geven, niet voor het rijden maar in het geval je ongewild naast de motor komt. Waterdicht is bij casual kleding niet aan de orde.

Laarzen

Veruit de meeste laarzen zijn van leer met een waterdichte voering. Ze zijn veelal stug met harde protectoren. Pasvorm en uiterlijk zijn eigenlijk het belangrijkste waar je aan moet denken. Lederen laarzen worden vaak nog soepeler en gaan naar jouw voeten staan. Regelmatig je laarzen invetten zorgt ervoor dat je langer plezier ervan hebt en werkt tevens waterafstotend.

Goede laarzen vanaf €120

Handschoenen

Gelukkig komen we in de goedkopere groepen: de handschoen. Eigenlijk heb je meerdere paren nodig maar daar ga je vanzelf achter komen. In de meeste gevallen kun je af met een paar mid-season handschoenen, niet te dik zoals de wintervarianten en zeker met handvatverwarming op je motor kun je hier heel lang mee blijven rijden. Als het echt heel zonnig en warm is ga je verlangen naar dunne of door-waai handschoenen. En wordt het echt kouder buiten dan zijn dikke winterhandschoenen een must. Je hebt ook nog keus tussen handschoenen met hoge of lage schacht, de hoge dicht de tocht naar je mouw af.

Waterdicht is bij handschoenen lastig, wil je echt waterdicht dan kies je niet voor volledig leer maar voorzien van een membraan zoals Salto-tex of Gore-tex. Lederen handschoenen gaan wel lekker naar je handen vormen en zijn goed slijtvast.

Nice to have

Motorkleding accessoires

Dit zijn niet echt noodzakelijke kledingdelen maar maken het motorrijden wel comfortabeler. Een motorkolletje (€15) is heerlijk tegen de tocht als het onder de 20 graden is, of regent.

Een helmmuts (€10) zorgt ervoor dat je helm lekker fris blijft, en kan wat extra warmte geven in de winter.

Een niergordel (€35) geeft je meer steun in de onderrug, je houdt het langer vol in het zadel en voorkomt tocht op je onderrug en nieren.

Wel noodzakelijk om aan te schaffen: Oordoppen (gehoorbescherming) €15

Zaken als thermo-ondergoed, Balaclava’s, rugprotectoren, airbags, sokken, maar ook sloten, een motorhoes, rugzak, tanktas of koffers bespreken we hier niet.

Zichtbaarheid

Super mooi en erg stoer als je bijvoorbeeld een mat zwarte helm combineert met een zwart pak op je zwarte naked. Realiseer je dat automobilisten al erg veel moeite hebben met het spotten van motoren. Tel daar nog bij op dat een groot percentage tijdens het rijden ondertussen aan het appen is of filemeldingen door aan het geven via de Tomtom. Zorg ervoor dat je als motorrijder zichtbaarder wordt. Kies voor een accent kleur in je helm of juist op je pak. Je kunt natuurlijk ook altijd een goed fluo hesje (€40) over je zwarte pak trekken.

(*) Waterdicht Wat is waterdicht nu precies? Misschien is dit wel het meest lastige voor de motorkledingmakers. Wij motorrijders willen mogelijkheden om lekker luchtig te kunnen rijden, zakken met ritsen en verstel-mogelijkheden. De jas moet ademen en niet als een vuilniszak voelen. En dat alles moet ook met een gangetje van 140km/u waterdicht blijven als de regen op je inbeukt. Om water buiten te houden en zweet toch te kunnen laten verdampen zijn er waterdichte dampdoorlatende membranen ontwikkeld zoals Salto-tex of GoreTex. Die laatste geeft jaren lange waterdicht garantie en is meteen duur. Bij goedkopere varianten moet je uitgaan van 2 jaar waterdicht, vaak wel langer maar geen garanties. Die membranen kunnen in een speciale binnenvoering verwerkt zijn (z-liners) of direct op de buitenstof verlijmd zijn. Dat verlijmen heet lamineren en is meteen weer het duurste stofje verkrijgbaar. Je pak wordt daarmee ook waterafstotend zodat je een korte droogtijd heb. Pakken die dit niet hebben hangen nog lange tijd uit te lekken. Een andere optie om droog te blijven is gewoon een regenpak of regenoverall aan te schaffen, wel hopen dat je tijdig deze kunt aantrekken maar wel een voordelige oplossing. Regenoverall vanaf €79.
