Ender Pearl and Punz for the Box of Memories event? I know you said you'd do any Dream SMP member but most others don't do Punz so if not, Respawn Anchor and Phil?
Eyooo! I tried to look for other writings of C!Punz without the mercenary context as reference as well as clips because this would be the first time I wrote for him! So I’m keeping my promise of writing for everyone, I hope this is okay!
Box of Memories
Emergency Outtie

Somehow looking back in the past felt illegal and it always leaves a bad taste in your mouth in hoping that things were the same as before.
You’ve just watched George and Sapnap end their friendship with Dream, and the latter ended up becoming someone you unconsciously avoid crossing paths with now. For reasons that it’s because he’s cutting ties with any attachment, you tried to solidify that lie in the back of your head.
“I don’t believe in this - this no attachments bullcrap Dream’s been doing, okay?” Punz quickly reiterated when he realized just how hurtful his words were. When he told you not to call him Luke anymore. “I swear, I’m not leaving you behind! It’s just -”
“Dangerous?”
“Exactly! You get it, of course you get it,” his heavy hands are on your shoulders and at this distance you’ve finally seen how the wars had been affecting Punz. Underneath that hoodie, underneath that mercenary façade. “It’s always been you and me ever since the beginning.”
The reassurance puts a smile on your face despite the circumstances.
Everyone knows Punz’s alignment, and it has always been about the money. Perhaps that’s why he was so easy to understand, always so transparent with his wants and needs.
But you’re a different variable that barely anyone knows other than the original group. You took on the new world together and kept each other’s back safe from the very start. Even when things took a sudden turn and everyone slowly broke apart there was you and him in the shadows keeping your bond strong albeit silently.
Which is why you’re here with him right now.
“Will you be okay?” A hand over his seemed to have broken his trance for a second when his eyes focused on yours again, a sharp nod and a thin smile accompanying for concreteness. And that was enough. Of course, he’s one of the strongest members in the whole SMP, there’s no need to doubt him.
Even if his work had put multiple targets on his back.
Stepping back to rummage in his pockets, Punz pulled out a stack of ender pearls for your taking.
There’s been a shortage on ender pearls on your end so it was really helpful to take them. It seemed Enderman had been spawning sparsely lately, that or someone might have been amassing and hiding them somewhere else. Or it’s the angel on your left shoulder stopping you from killing one after you met that new Enderman hybrid guy.
When you expected the ender pearls, you couldn’t help but laugh at the names.
“’Emergency Outtie’? For real?”
Pulling you to sit on the hill with him, Punz mimics your laugh, leaning on your arm as he braced himself. “Hey! It’s the least I can do to ease your mind while you’re yeeting yourself out of there!” You wanted to smack him for being such a dork.
After a short bit of catching up a comfortable silence easily caught up to you two as you settled on watching the artistic sunset over the horizon, a reminder of an approaching danger yet still putting a beautiful show. It felt enchanting, double-faced. There were moments like this long ago when hills weren’t destroyed or occupied by some man-made structure or destruction.
Thinking about the next time this peace happens is blurred in your mind.
“I’m serious tho. Keep that stack in your inventory at all times,” Punz’s voice pulled your whole attention back in the same manner you had with your hand on his, “If you’re cornered by powerful people, make sure you have the opportunity to escape. Only use it for that purpose.” He was using his serious voice now and you feel like there’s more to it than he wants to let on.
“I promise I’ll use it when I’m in danger,” leaning on his arm too you swear you’ve heard a ‘thank you’ from him.
Weeks after that sunset moment the hill was overridden by red vines just like the rest of the SMP, stemming from the Eggpire that had been forcing people to join them in their cultist-like group through some really suspicious egg-to-heart talk. It didn’t take long before it became a huge problem and threat to everyone everyone from past the main SMP island.
Despite your tactics and formation of being in the back of the line of fire (and accompanied by a powerful someone) this time there was more on the line. And you simply couldn’t watch idly anymore.
When you received those stack of ender pearls last month, you were expecting it to be used to escape Dream.
But with your back against the red nether brick walls and equally bright red eyes watching your every move, your shaky hands shifted to holding said items. The mischievous (cocky) glint in his glare eased upon recognition. “You kept it...” There was a questioning lilt on the end of Punz’s sentence and it made you laugh just a lil bit sadly.
“You know me, Luke. I keep my promises.” Kissing the ender pearl, you threw one past his shoulder. Gone and away in a split second.
Away from him.
Away from Punz.
Away from danger.

Traitor 1:2
Wow this has been in the works for so long now but I love writing it and hope you enjoy reading it! Sorry this part took so long to come out, hopefully part three will come out quicker. As always feedback is greatly appreciated! :^)
Geoff and Jack woke up early the next day, too concerned to sleep in, and left the crew a note: “Gone to Hospital with Chester. Get your own food.” Once they were at the hospital Chester was soon whisked away in a flurry of nurses and doctors while they sat in the waiting room.
They waited for several hours before a nurse arrived and took them to Chester's room. “She seems to be stable. She’s got a few broken ribs and we are worried about trauma.  Her brand and tongue could get infected very easily, so we’ll put them on antibiotics just in case. Also, we’ve done some scans and found that while she has a female pelvis there is no sign of her reproductive system being present.  We can confirm that it appears to be a birth defect rather than a removal, so we are not worried about health implications from that.” The nurse informed them on the way, “but they won't have to stay here much longer. Are you caring for them? We ran them through the system but they’re not on it, so you’ll either have to register them or refer them to the LSPD.” Geoff and Jack looked at each other and shrugged, what was one more?
Once Chester returned from the hospital, they settled in with Jack and the two got on well together to no surprise of the crew. What the crew did find odd though was that Chester would follow Ryan around, who had reverted to wearing his mask around them to protect his identity. Ryan often complained to the crew, saying he couldn't trust Chester and it was annoying having to constantly watch out for them. However, Ryan never told Chester to leave him alone and over the course of Chester's recovery, Ryan would often help Jack teach Chester to read and write. A skill the crew found that Chester lacked after they tried using a whiteboard and marker to communicate. Chester was currently using crude hand gestures and drawings to get basic information across. They seemed to want to learn, but the time Jack set aside to teach them was often cut short by Chester storming off in a fit of frustration as they couldn't grasp a word. Meanwhile, this rest of the crew was working to make sure that Chester felt welcome. Geoff would let Chester help make dinner in the kitchen and the lads would include them in video games and movie nights. When Chester had the strength, Lindsay took them out shopping to get clothes and essentials. Chester was amazed at how many clothes there were and was overjoyed when Lindsay said they could choose what they wanted. Chester returned with green everything, even underwear.
It had been nearly a month when Geoff called the crew to a meeting. "Heist?" Gavin called, a little unsure. "Eh, not really Gav. Now I know how much you all like Chester. They've settled in great but I'm sure I don't have to remind you that we know very little about them and they may not be here permanently, so we need to be careful about what we say and show them. However, I have been doing some research and-"
"You mean you told me to find out" Gavin butted in.
"Yes" Geoff continued, determined to be unfazed by Gavin, " We have found next to nothing but with what Ryan told us on the night Chester arrived we have a lead. Unfortunately, the building Ryan went to has been renovated into a legitimate office building, so we can't just go and pay this Puppeteer guy a visit. However, Gavin tracked down reports of the homeless going missing and found what we believe to be some target areas." Geoff pointed to the wall where a map of Los Santos was pinned up. On the map was a cluster of red dots through out the city. There were three areas where the marks were denser. "So, what we're going to do is split up into Battle Buddies, Nice Dynamite and Team OG, go to each area, look for any clues and talk to the homeless there and see if they have any more information we can go off. I'll keep Lindsay and the Twins on surveillance and distracting Chester." Geoff leaned forwards, "We can't let a man like this live in our city. We may be criminals but goddamn we owe it to everyone this man has so much as looked at." The crew nodded they filed out of the room to prep for the next day. Geoff opened his phone and called Trevor, “You’re a science guy, right? I have a task for you.”
"Vagabond. 123,123"
"Michael syncing. 123,123"
Jeremy here. 123,123"
"Eyooo! Gavin 123,123"
"Jack syncing. 123,123"
"And Geoff syncing. 123,123. We all good to go?"
Ryan and Jeremy nodded to each other and confirmed over the comms with the others. They were downtown under a bridge which was a popular camp for the homeless. The ground was covered in old blankets, rubbish, and empty water bottles. Every now and then a pile would shift, and the figure of a human could be seen. Ryan and Jeremy split up and began to question them. A while later they grouped back together, "did you get anything?" Jeremy asked. "No. I couldn't wake most of them up and the ones that were awake were speaking in riddles. Don't trust the water and all that jazz." Neither were concerned, most of the homeless in Los Santos had lost it. Jeremy began relaying their lack of finds to the rest of the crew when a convoy of black trucks pulled under the bridge and stopped a hundred yards away from them. Ryan and Jeremy dove behind a rotting sofa and readied their weapons. However, the people that piled out of the vehicles were uninterested with two. of Los Santos' most wanted but the sleeping homeless who were being dragged onto the lorries. Once all the people were onboard the trucks, Jeremy and Ryan raced over to Ryan's adder and began to follow them through the traffic, keeping close as not to lose them on the busy roads. Jeremy tried to contact Geoff, first with his comms and then on his phone but both only produced static. " There's probably a jammer in the trucks somewhere. Once they park, we can find a safe spot to try again" Ryan stated as he ran a red light to keep up the convoy. "Besides I think they know we're following them now".
They followed the trucks to a warehouse by the docks where they pulled into the building through loading bay doors which closed behind them. Ryan and Jeremy parked their car in an alley and clambered out. "we should try the crew again" Jeremy said. This time both of them tried to get in touch but again all they got was static. "Maybe we should head back to the penthouse." Jeremy mused as he walked towards the building, looking for any CCTV. "Oh definitely" Ryan responded as he searched for any windows or doors he could force open. "Hey, Rye! Do you think you could yeet me through that window?" Jeremy asked, pointing to a window that was ajar about eight feet up the wall. "What's a 'yeet'?" Ryan looked at him quizzically while Jeremy sighed, "Jesus Ryan! Can you give me a boost?" Ryan cupped his hands in response, Jeremy stepped in and was lifted to the window. He peeped and saw an empty hallway "All clear" he said as he wriggled in and landed gracefully on the floor. A few seconds later Ryan's hands appeared in the window and he heaved himself through the window and fell to a heap on the floor. "Not a word." Ryan glared at Jeremy. They set off down the hospital-like corridor. They tried to open any doors that they came across, but they were all locked. They eventually got to a pair of heavy looking steel doors. Ryan and Jeremy took a door each and pushed. Suddenly sirens blared, and the hallway was plunged into emergency lighting. Ryan looked back down the hall and saw a barrier begin to close. "Run!" He yelled as they sprinted down the hall. 'We aren't going to make it. We aren't going to make it. Make sure Jeremy makes it.' Ryan repeated in his mind. As they reached the barrier it was almost closed Ryan shoved Jeremy forwards, causing him to fall under the barrier and out the other side while Ryan slammed into the metal. Jeremy began yelling and beating on the window to try and free Ryan. "Just go! Get the rest of the crew. I'll be fine!" Ryan's yelled back, trying to keep calm but that disappeared when a milky gas began pouring from what Ryan had previously thought were sprinklers. He pounded on the window and screamed as his throat and eyes burned, his vision clouded, and he felt like his body was in a vice. All Jeremy could do was watch as his friend became weaker, his cries fainter, and eventually dropped out of sight.
