White French people hate it when they get a taste of their own medicine.
I was discussing with one of my colleagues and she told me how she was planning to go to Senegal for the holidays because she thought it was a good way for her kids to see more diversity and people who don’t look like them (ie Black People).
So I told her it was a good idea because I was 4 the 1st time I saw a White person (and I cried btw...) And she was so shocked, like she couldn’t understand that some Black kids have never seen White people in their lives but somehow doesn’t think twice about the fact that her kids are in a similar situation.
Another time, I was talking to someone else about how I arrived in France when I was young but had lived in many African countries growing up (RDC, Kenya , Gabon, Center African Republic...).
And then that person proceeded to go on a tirade about how I must have felt so lucky to arrive in France, and how I should have been relieved to arrive in a developed country like France, blablaba. I just told him “not really”, because growing up I was told that France was amazing and so wealthy, but the first time I saw homeless people was when I arrived in Europe, so I didn’t really understand why people always talked about Europe like that. And again, the guy was shocked, just because I didn’t say my life in Africa was miserable and sad, and because I said that Europe was from what I had heard as a child.
If you’re going to bring your assumptions without knowing, I’ll retort with mine ( the view of an 8-9 year old). I don’t understand how someone can feel so entitled and assume something about your situation without asking first. I’m sorry the only thing you know about Africa is that one documentary you watched in middle school but leave me alone.

We live in a world where -
1. In USA women don't have abortion rights, that is a clear violation of human rights.
2. Femicide in Latin America.
3. Gender inequality in the world. (European countries).
4. The women being deprived of education throughout the world. Especially, in Iran, afghanistan and other middle eastern countries where school tanks were poisoned so girls parents would stop sending them to school.
5. Child marriage, domestic abuse, early pregnancy, women are expected to carry domestic workloads, violence against women, sexual assault all over the world. Which usually make headlines in Asian countries.
6. Financial dependency which makes them vulnerable.
7. There are single mothers, who are either divorced or their husbands passed away due to some reasons. This world is not kind for a widow or a divorced women. A man can remarry and nobody will question him but a woman remarries who world will come to eat her alive.
8. Even climate change is a woman's enemy. It was in news that girls of the age 9+ age are married off because their families have lost everything when the natural calamity occurred. They marry their daughters because ofcourse girls are burden.
9. Among this we have a section of women who are privileged. Some women from this section practice their powers, knowledge and education wisely and others practice fake feminism.
10. Women are expected to do the households work, raise kids and also the man she married. She is expected to adjust and give up on her career because it is only a woman's duty to keep her marriage alive. (This is the reality of 80% women living in India).
11. If a woman talks about women's issues then she is labelled as a "feminist" or the famous "woman ☕". Because, they think women can only cry and play a victim card. Well done 👏.
12. Carry a pepper spray, knife, send location, do this..do that ... when you are out. We can't even travel safely.
This is not detailed, I wrote whatever came to my mind but all the facts mentioned above are true. I may have missed so many problems that women face on day to day life. No abortion rights in USA, stop doing politics with women bodies, USA .
Women's issues are not women's problems, they are the world's problem. Imagine a world where all this is fixed and women are finally treated as humans. Men sitting in big offices, decide what they should do with a woman's body, they make crap cinema where women are objectified; also shame on such women who participate in such stuff. We can't improve if we don't work on the root cause. A society will never grow without the contribution of a woman. ALSO, I AM NOT LASHING OUT AT MEN. I AM TALKING ABOUT THE PROBLEMS( SO DON'T LECTURE ME ABOUT HOW NOT ALL MEN ARE SAME.. I KNOW THAT! THANK YOU)
Sometimes, I think men would be so happy to live in a world without women. No women, no one to control, no one to dominate, no one to do politics with and they will live happily ever in their own manly world.
Ps: This post was for only women. ALSO READ THE TAGS. THANK YOU.

"Wah wah wah, globalization is destroying our traditions 😢" My guy. My dude. My man. You thick-skulled motherfucker, there was a mass exodus of people from the countryside to the city under Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej like fucking 70 years ago! It impacted the make-up of our society so severely an entire portion of the country that used to be considered uninhabitable became the home of tens of thousands of people! A whole fucking chanel was dug from the Danube through that area using the labour of political prisoners who weren't so lucky as to die of pneumonia in the Jilava penitenciary! All art promoting anything but how great and valliant it is to live your life as proverbial cattle in the slaughter factory was pretty much banned! The Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej government actively fought for the erasure of the most prevalent ethnic minorities in our country— the roma and jewish people— under Stalin's directive! After the revolution there was a mass exhodus of people going abroad because Nicolae Ceaușescu left our country 12 feet deep in debt and people were terrified of the Soviet Union being reinstated long after it dissolved— hell, my grandma still keeps her and my grandpa's work records from back then in a drawer "just in case"— and the borders opened for domestic travel for the first time in 40 years!
But, sure, it's the faggots who have fought for years to have their identity decriminalized, the age of consent be equalized, the mere possibility of going through the long-winded process of transitioning be granted, the condemnation of their assault and murder, and the right to just fucking exist that are at fault! It's the immigrants who are tens of thousands of miles from home because those "american badasses" decided their homes are mere assets to be exploited and traded, making their lives hell that are at fault! It's the hungarian people who have done jackshit to us since december 1st 1918, and whose families live in Transylvania that are at fault! This new-fangled feminist thing that says you can't abuse your wife and that you have to treat a lowly creature such as a woman as your equal is at fault! That's simply not what God intended!
I genuinely hope every conservative fucking lives with the weight of their choices if they manage to create any kind of significant change in this piece of shit country

What i've been learning thru my research is that Lawn Culture and laws against "weeds" in America are deeply connected to anxieties about "undesirable" people.
I read this essay called "Controlling the Weed Nuisance in Turn-of-the-century American Cities" by Zachary J. S. Falck and it discusses how the late 1800's and early 1900's created ideal habitats for weeds with urban expansion, railroads, the colonization of more territory, and the like.
Around this time, laws requiring the destruction of "weeds" were passed in many American cities. These weedy plants were viewed as "filth" and literally disease-causing—in the 1880's in St. Louis, a newspaper reported that weeds infected school children with typhoid, diphtheria, and scarlet fever.
Weeds were also seen as "conducive to immorality" by promoting the presence of "tramps and idlers." People thought wild growing plants would "shelter" threatening criminals. Weeds were heavily associated with poverty and immortality. Panic about them spiked strongly after malaria and typhoid outbreaks.
To make things even wilder, one of the main weeds the legal turmoil and public anxiety centered upon was actually the sunflower. Milkweed was also a major "undesirable" weed and a major target of laws mandating the destruction of weeds.
The major explosion in weed-control law being put forth and enforced happened around 1905-1910. And I formed a hypothesis—I had this abrupt remembrance of something I studied in a history class in college. I thought to myself, I bet this coincides with a major wave of immigration to the USA.
Bingo. 1907 was the peak of European immigration. We must keep in mind that these people were not "white" in the exact way that is recognized today. From what I remember from my history classes, Eastern European people were very much feared as criminals and potential communists. Wikipedia elaborates that the Immigration Act of 1924 was meant to restrict Jewish, Slavic, and Italian people from entering the country, and that the major wave of immigration among them began in the 1890s. Almost perfectly coinciding with the "weed nuisance" panic. (The Immigration Act of 1917 also banned intellectually disabled people, gay people, anarchists, and people from Asia, except for Chinese people...who were only excluded because they were already banned since 1880.)
From this evidence, I would guess that our aesthetics and views about "weeds" emerged from the convergence of two things:
First, we were obliterating native ecosystems by colonizing them and violently displacing their caretakers, then running roughshod over them with poorly informed agricultural and horticultural techniques, as well as constructing lots of cities and railroads, creating the ideal circumstances for weeds.
Second, lots of immigrants were entering the country, and xenophobia and racism lent itself to fears of "criminals" "tramps" and other "undesirable" people, leading to a desire to forcefully impose order and push out the "Other." I am not inventing a connection—undesirable people and undesirable weeds were frequently compared in these times.
And this was at the very beginnings of the eugenics movement, wherein supposedly "inferior" and poor or racialized people were described in a manner much the same as "weeds," particularly supposedly "breeding" much faster than other people.
There is another connection that the essay doesn't bring up, but that is very clear to me. Weeds are in fact plants of the poor and of immigrants, because they are often medicinal and food plants for people on the margins, hanging out around human habitation like semi-domesticated cats around granaries in the ancient Near East.
My Appalachian ancestors ate pokeweed, Phytolacca americana. The plant is toxic, but poor people in the South would gather the plant's young leaves and boil them three times to get the poison out, then eat them as "poke salad." Pokeweed is a weed that grows readily on roadsides and in vacant lots.
In some parts of the world, it is grown as an ornamental plant for its huge, tropical-looking leaves and magenta stems. But my mom hates the stuff. "Cut that down," she says, "it makes us look like rednecks."
