Okay so high key? If you eat meat, Ribs are actually a way more ADHD friendly meal than you think.
Literally just slap a dry rub on those boys and throw them in the oven and set a timer for two hours and go hyperfixate or doom scroll or whatever it is you were gonna do for the day. Then when that two hours is up. Oh hey food. Just slap some bbq sauce on and heat at a higher heat for 15 minutes and eat. No cutting and no prep work unless you make your own seasoning but there are tons of premade dry rubs at the store.
Idk about you guys but for me, minimum prep is way more important for a meal than time it physically takes to cook. Things that can slow roast in the oven or a crock pot are my best friend. Let me go stim and do other things while dinner is magically being made.

Dream Chicken Sandwich Sushi Bomb 🍣🥪🍣
Tumblr media
Hello, it's Ushio. Today, I'd like to introduce one of my classic chicken dishes. We're taking crispy chicken and giving it a sushi sandwich twist. This is the perfect one-handed food, ideal for busy people and students preparing for exams. It's incredibly satisfying and delicious. Give it a try!
👨‍🍳 Recipe:
In a frying pan with some oil, add rice, salt, pepper, garlic, and consomme. Sauté over high heat, then mix in 2 tablespoons of ketchup to create Ketchup Rice.
Next, coat chicken, marinated in grated garlic and soy sauce, with potato starch, and fry until it's wonderfully crispy. Also, prepare sliced cucumbers, boiled eggs, and salad vegetables.
Once your preparations are complete, lay a sheet of seaweed in a mold and evenly spread the Ketchup Rice on top.
Add vegetables, chicken, a generous helping of chili sauce, boiled eggs, cheese, and cucumbers on top.
Finally, cover it with another layer of rice, remove the mold, and wrap it with seaweed. After wrapping, use a knife to cut it neatly. Wrapping it in plastic wrap and letting it rest for about 10 minutes before cutting will make it easier to slice.
Finally, drizzle with a special sauce made by mixing chili sauce, mayonnaise, and ketchup.
This Dream Chicken Sandwich Sushi Bomb is perfect for when you're craving a hearty and indulgent meal. It's an ideal late-night snack for hungry students studying for exams or for athletes and anyone looking for a substantial meal. You can easily enjoy it with one hand, and it provides a satisfying feeling of fullness. It's perfect for late-night snacks, snacks, and bento boxes. Give it a try! 👍
📋 Ingredients: Ketchup Rice: 1 cup Seaweed: 1 sheet Chicken: 50g Cucumber: 1/3 Boiled Egg: 1 Cheese: 1 slice Vegetables: To taste Chili Sauce: To taste Enjoy a delightful culinary experience! 🍽️🤩

Recipe: Stu Pickles' Chocolate Pudding
Stu Pickles' Chocolate Pudding
Have you lost control of your life? Is it two or three in the morning, and are you in your bathrobe, exhausted? Do you want chocolate pudding?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Behold. A chocolate pudding from basic ingredients you probably already have. Easy, quick low spoons - involves the stove and the fridge, time to chill, and that's it!
(Please ignore my messy, midnight stove).
Prep time: 15 minutes
Chill time: 1-2 hours
Serves: 4 (or just myself tbh)
Materials/Tools:
2 qt saucepan
Whisk and/or spoon to stir
Heat source (you can use a stove, a hot plate, or one of ways that your life is going up in flames around you)
Big bowl with lid (if no lid, cover with aluminum foil or saran wrap), ramekins, or something to contain pudding
An out-of-control life (optional)
Bathrobe (optional)
The knowledge that this pudding won't fix your life, but you'll feel better after you eat (optional)
Child who demanded pudding (optional)
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cup milk
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp corn starch
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3-ish cup of hot cocoa powder
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
Substitution Tips:
To substitute milk, DO use a lactose-free, an almond milk, a coconut milk, a rice milk, or a soy milk. DO NOT use oat milk (ingredients risk separating). Color will be lighter than if using dairy milk.
If using unsweetened non-dairy milk, double sugar.
Cornstarch can be substituted with all-purpose flour - just double the amount and mix with small amount of water until smooth before adding to other ingredients.
For gluten-free pudding, you can use arrowroot or rice flour instead of cornstarch or wheat flour - just double the amount and add to dry ingredients.
Want it really chocolate-y? Use a couple of squirts of chocolate syrup.
If it's too thick for you, add more milk. If it's too thin for you, add more corn-starch and cocoa powder (or whatever substitutions).
Notes:
I add hot cocoa to my pudding in the form of ripped open Swiss Miss packs for that deliciously fudgy chocolate taste. This measurement isn't exact.
If your mixture seems too thick, add milk in by 1/4 cup accordingly.
Scrape the sides of the pan while stirring constantly.
It's actually harder to burn pudding than you think. Don't give yourself tennis elbow trying to stir the heck out of it, just keep it constant and consistent.
This says it feeds 4, but if you're like me, it actually is a single serving and maybe a bite for anyone else.
You don't have to chill it, you can eat it as soon as it won't set your mouth on fire.
Instructions:
Put on your bathrobe and wait to make at 2am if you want the Stu Pickles experience. Or make it in whatever you're wearing at any time of day.
Combine all dry ingredients in saucepan. Mix thoroughly to avoid lumps in pudding later.
Slowly stir in milk and vanilla.
Gently bring mix to slow boil over med-high heat, stirring constantly.
Cook at med-high temp until mix begins to thicken up. Keep stirring constantly. You should start to feel a drag as you scrape the sides and bottoms.
Yawn, but carry on.
Continue cooking for 3-4 minutes.
Remove from heat and pour into room-temp containers.
Let cool on the counter for 30 minutes, then chill in fridge for at least 1 hour.
Enjoy your delicious snack!
Optional: Take your life back and get some sleep.
If you make this, I would love to see pictures and get feedback on how it went for you, how substitutions went, etc, etc. Good luck!

if ur ever looking for an easier, cheaper and more balanced meal ive got the "recepie" for you
it's just instant noodles with eggs and veggies but it fills me up, and while it is high in sodium, is helpful if cooking is a bit of a challenge for you/you'd eat something worse for you otherwise
basically all of this can be changed to taste/appetite, but i have a big stomach, so I'll be making a larger bowl. recepie can easily be cut in half.
ingredients:
- 2 eggs
i love eggs and they're good for you duh. i eat lots of eggs because they help meet daily nutritional needs and if you buy an 18 pack, they can be kinda cheap; as well as the fact they can be easily used up if they're about to go bad
- seasoning salt (optional)
can be found at dollar store, can be replaced with reg salt and spice of choice
- frozen variety vegetables
i buy frozen because they're already chopped, alot cheaper, won't go bad (unless you thaw and refreeze them), and obviously vegetables are good for you. pick any veggie you want, i usually go with carrots, broccoli, or parisian mix.
- 2 packs of mr.noodle
base of the meal, cheap as hell. especially if you buy a full palette of them.
- butter/oil/lard
to fry the eggs
- spices & herbs of choice
spices really make this bad boy. i usually use garlic, paprika, pepper, oregano and ginger but honestly, throw pretty much a little of anything in here. as i type this, im using a bit of curry powder and sage in addition to the other ones.
steps:
- begin with a frying pan or pot. ive even used a steel mixing bowl, get crazy with it. set the stovetop to low-medium heat, on my stove i use 3.5/9. add butter and once it's melted and spread out easily, wait a minute for it to heat up more.
-crack the eggs in, there should be a nice sizzle. i like my yolks runny, and it mixes better with the "broth" later, so take a fork and carefully try to grab the clear membrane around the egg yolk. attempt to pull it off slowly, but if it doesnt come off fully, no biggie. this is just so the egg cooks more evenly while leaving the yolk soft. i use the seasoning salt to sprinkle onto the eggs, the broth does not need it.
-continue to cook until the white is solid. the yolk should still be almost all soft by now, but even if it isn't, itll still go well with the rest of it.
-put them into a bowl from the pan. if there are egg bits stuck on the pan after, they'll come off.
-put water, ¼-½ the bag of frozen vegetables, spices, and flavour packets into the pan. crank that baby to max heat. once it's boiling, put the noodles in. could probably turn the heat down a bit now. cook until the veggies are soft enough to be poked by fork without much effort. if there's not enough water, just add a bit more.
we're done! put the noodles into the egg bowl, or if you're crazy like me, put the eggs into the pan of noodles.
now, this makes alot of noodles, so for some it should probably be halved, but it works for me, and it works if you haven't eaten all day and are ravenous.
enjoy! (i hope)

Easy Roasted Green Beans
a mess of green beans (a "mess" is basically whatever will fit on your cookie sheet or in your roasting pan)
olive oil
salt and pepper
Heat the oven to 425F / 218 C or whatever it is on Celsius ovens.
Snap the stem end off the green beans. If the little tails are nice and perky and green, you can leave them on. My chef-instructor always used to say that was how you could tell the beans were fresh -- the beans are old if the tails are sad-looking.
Toss the beans onto a rimmed baking sheet or roasting pan big enough to hold all of them in one layer. A few can pile up, but you don't want much pile, you want good contact with the pan for browning purposes. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
Roast for 20 minutes, tossing again at the 10-minute mark so that you get more nice charred bits on different parts of the beans. Scarf down immediately once they're ready.

Go Tubing...
...at least the way I do, that is. Saw these tubes of pesto paste, garlic paste, tomato paste, and chili paste all used in meal prep on a camping video. I was impressed at how easy these made cooking out in the elements over an open fire look. These have come in so handy for a quick flavor boost cooking in my own kitchen, outdoors, and when I'm the visiting "head chef" for friends/relatives. In various combinations, these work well as part of pasta based dishes, middle Eastern lentil main courses, or South of the border favorites. The pesto for instance works well added to hot, cooked whole wheat pasta with some extra pine nuts tossed in, add some fresh basil if you're a mind to. These are available through my local grocer or on Amazon. Takes the hassle out of healthy meal prep when I'm on the go.
Note: I have no connection with any of these products. I'm just looking for ways to enhance my healthy eating goals with little extra effort on my part.
When I'm not stirring up great family meals, I'm sewing cotton pocket chef aprons for my online shop - www.etsy.com/shop/topdrawerthreads .
Or, I'm tearing old sheets into strips to crochet into upcycled recycled throw rugs to sell in my other shop - www.etsy.com/shop/topdraweryarns .
My daughter's have an online shop - www.etsy.com/shop/yesdesigns - where they design and sew cotton pocket knickers for cosplay or whatever other playfulness comes to mind.
My older daughter has an online shop - www.etsy.com/shop/wildwovenwomen - where she offers up hand knit soft, supple striped afghans and throws worked from upcycled recycled yarns thrifted locally.

This chili takes less than an hour, from start to serve. Recipe below ofc, it's a refinement of one I posted many moons ago
Cheater's Chili
4 lbs. ground protein, cheap and fatty (I like to use two different ones like beef and pork, loose sausage works wonderfully too)
1-2 white or yellow onions, chopped as fine as you can stand
2 cans of Ro-Tel diced tomatoes or an equal volume of your favorite salsa
2 cans of chili beans (I like using black and pinto)
2.5 oz or so of chili powder (a whole small bottle or weigh it out from your Costco stash)
½ tsp. garam masala
As much garlic as you want, the minced stuff from a jar is fine
Whatever other seasonings you deem appropriate, this is VERY hard to fuck up
Procedure:
Chop your onions. A vegetable chopper is worth the investment, you just have to peel and quarter them before pushing them through the cutters and it saves so much time and risk. Anyway, throw your chopped onions into a big pot and then dump in the protein, being sure to remove any "meat diapers" that wind up in the pot. Add all the spices and then turn the heat on medium-style. Using some sort of spatula, break up your protein into roughly cherry sized pieces as you stir it all together, then cover your pot and let it cook for about 20 minutes, enough time for all the meat to brown.
Open up the cans (if you don't have an edge-cut can opener, put a magnet on the lids before you open for easy and safe removal) and dump them into the pot, liquid and all. Fold this into the mix with a different spatula from before to avoid cross contamination, then cover your pot and let it go until it simmers, this takes about another ten minutes. Take the lid off, marvel at your chili, and serve it up with crackers and milk/alcohol.

No i z wartościami się zgadzamy.
No i jestem z siebie dumna, naprawdę polubilam ćwiczenia i robię je prawie codziennie.
No jeszcze pomyślę.

Tortilla Pizza
Ingredients:
Flour tortillas
Tomato paste (I recommend the tube kind over the cans)
Dried Oregano (optional)
Shredded cheese (Italian or Mexican blends both work fine)
Instructions:
Put the baking sheet in the oven and then preheat the oven to 350F.
In a mug, mix tomato paste and a little bit of water until you get the desired consistency and add the oregano if desired.
Put a flour tortilla on the hot baking sheet. (If you want a crisper "crust" you can put the tortilla in the oven for a minute before adding toppings.) Spoon the tomato paste mixture onto the tortilla and spread around with the back of the spoon. Top with shredded cheese.
Bake for 6-8 minutes, depending on how cooked you like your cheese.
Best eaten hot so I recommend making them one at a time.

Healthier Mozzarella Dill Mac and Cheese
My human brothers absolutely love mac and cheese. I hate to admit it, but so do I. Since I’m only 12 pounds, I have to worry about the calories I am eating. I also worry about my dog parents’ cholesterol. Roof! Therefore, when I make mac and cheese, I try to limit the amount of butter, choose part skim cheese, and use skim or low fat milk. It still tastes delicious! Additionally, I only ever…
