Trailer park Steve AU part 48
part 1 | part 47 | ao3
cw: mentions of smoking/sexual activity
Chapter 11
February
For two and a half months, Steve’s life goes perfectly. He didn’t realize how far into a pit he’d fallen until Eddie showed up to help Robin and the kids lift him out, but the difference is jarring. Golden hour sunlight after catching a matinée.
Steve spends two months blinking.
He sloughs off his sadness like a snake shedding skin; spends the winter getting back to being Steve, restocks his favorite hair products and restarts his fitness routines — morning runs through the woods, afternoon pick-up games with Lucas and some of his teammates when the weather doesn’t suck. Weightlifting in the evenings because Eddie says he likes how Steve’s arms look when they get a little big, says it’s more fun to pin him down when he knows it’s just for show.
And he tries new things, too, just because Eddie likes them or because the kids think they're cool. He reads a Vonnegut novel. He eats Indian curry. He even learns a song on guitar.
...Sort of.
Eventually.
(Actually, that whole thing goes pretty horribly and takes for-fucking-ever. Eddie spends an afternoon patiently encouraging him and doing his best not to tease while Steve clumsily moves through a beginner chord progression, and then breaks down wheezing when, after the sixth attempt with no improvement, Steve puts the guitar down in a huff and threatens to demote his pinky finger from his hand if it doesn't start cooperating. Eddie laughs so hard he tips face-first into Steve's crotch, and it takes them a sticky-spitty-sweaty half hour to get back to the lesson.)
Anyway, he likes the way their lives entangle. As easy as weaving his hands through Eddie’s hair.
He gets invited to band practice; he sits in on D&D. Sometimes he watches sports with Wayne when he's got a day off, then he heads out with Eddie for long joyrides through the countryside.
Eddie blasts his metal music when they get out to the backroads, and he talks too loudly over the bass and laughs even louder and rants about nothing and smokes cigarettes while he headbangs to his favorite guitar solos — almost lights his hair on fire on more than one occasion, fucking dumbass — and he does this silly, lewd shit that makes Steve's chest just ache. Makes it clench around the word that's been burning a hole in his tongue since New Year's Eve. Eddie wags his brows and palms himself through his jeans and asks if Steve wants to take another joyride when they get home, and Steve thinks:
God, I love you.
I love you.
How could I not love you?
And really, how could he not? And how much longer can he keep not telling him so? When it feels like the word is going to burst out of his chest Alien-style any second.
When it feels like Eddie's the reason he even has a home to get to.
Slowly — so slowly, hours spent thrifting and bartering and keeping an eye out for free stuff left out on the curb, even more hours sanding and painting and caulking and sweating to death between trips to the hardware store — they redo Steve's whole trailer. Floor to ceiling, wall to wall, they exorcise the haunted tin can. They make it his; they make it theirs.
Eddie injects life into every inch of the space, fills it with weird art and funky lamps and a big, comfy leather couch that he likes to bend Steve over. Comes inside him in every room when they get done working on it as a reward; gasps in Steve's ear about how he always wants to be inside him: in his home, in his body, nestled deep inside his heart. "Keep me right here, baby," he breathes as he fucks Steve against a wall, his left hand gripping Steve's chest while he fills him from behind.
It’s perfect.
It's perfect.
Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts unless Steve asks.
And then, because this godforsaken town and everyone in it are fucking cursed, one day it isn’t anymore.

♡ pairing- eddie munson x fem!reader (she/her pronouns) <3
♡ summary- while eddie tries to teach you how to play the guitar, you can’t help but get impossibly horny from the sight of his fingers. he soon gives you what you want, but if you stop playing, then he stops too.
♡ includes- SMUT, praise kink, hand kink lmao, teasing i guess, fingering, calls reader a slut like once i think, eddie cums in his pants, a shitty ending (come on, what do you expect?)
♡ a/n- please let me know what you think!
Eddie’s lap felt nice. So nice that you had to refrain yourself from squirming and wiggling against it, your head going a little dizzy while he explained each and every part of the guitar that sat in your own lap.
His big hands were on yours, the metal of his rings cool on your skin and the sight of his fingers, flexing and clenching, moving your fingertips to the right string on the right fret and strumming the chord. It had you near to drooling, letting out a soft whine from all the attention, though it was drowned out by the tinny, not-so-perfect strum of what you thought he said was an E minor, but through the haze that clogged your brain, you weren’t entirely sure.
“That was perfect, princess!” He beamed, reaching up to stroke at your cheek with his knuckles. It wasn’t perfect, not in the slightest, but Eddie was too lovesick, praising you with hearts in his eyes as per usual. “Doin’ so well for me.”
You shivered, his coos going straight to your pussy, leaving it slick and throbbing and he was so close, all he had to do was reach down and—
“Can you play it again for me, sweetheart?” His question fell on deaf ears- you were far too engrossed on his hands that gripped the neck of the guitar for you so it didn’t slip, his chest that was pressed so tightly against your back, fuck, he was just so—
“You better be concentrating, baby.”
Pretty,,
Eddie clicked his thumb in front of your face, he knew you weren’t listening, and you could almost feel the smirk that lifted his mouth.
“What’s gotten you so distracted, hm?”
You turned your head to gawk up at him, flushed in the face and completely dumbified by those lovely eyes of his — you could barely get any words out, only managing to let a few incoherent babbles slip.
“All worked up, aren’t ya, sweetheart.” He mockingly copied the pout that adorned your mouth, lifting a hand to your cheek and grazing the skin with his thumb before grasping your chin with a firm hold, bringing you even closer than before.
“Don’t you wanna make me proud, baby?” Eddie cocked his head to the side, those eyes still sparkling in the low light, all pretty and enticing like one of those sirens you had seen in a film one time,,
And you nodded— nodded so exuberantly, even before he had managed to finish the question he wanted to ask.
“Then concentrate.”
Oh, come on.
He was stern with his speech this time, eyebrows raised and all, and your shoulders slumped, another pout arriving in full force, sent his way. You couldn’t concentrate! Not now you were all worked up.
“But Eddie—”
“Thought you wanted to be a good girl.” He watched you stutter before puffing a defeated sigh. “There we go, do as I say.”
He guided your hands once again, though instead of assisting you further and using his own digits to press your fingertips tightly against the strings, he had you do it yourself, placing his hands palm-down against your thighs.
“Eddie, I don’t know how.” You whined, and in return he gave your thigh a little pat.
“Yes you do,” his lip quirked, “I know you do ‘cause I taught you— got real potential, baby, I can feel it.”
He pushed at your elbow, nuzzling his chin against your shoulder and watching the way your fingers struggled to remember the chord.
“Give me that E chord I showed ya, sweetheart.”
First fret. Pointer finger on the A string. Middle finger on the D string. Easy enough, right?
“Gotta press down real hard so it’ll sound nice- atta girl.”
・✫・゜・。.
Eddie had been through various beginner chords in the span of time you had been perched upon his lap, and it didn’t take long for his callused hands to start trailing, giving you complete control (of the guitar, of course).
You see, watching you concentrate real hard on his guitar and following his instructions, strumming and trying your best to make him proud. Fuck. The things it did to him, and while nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck, he could feel his cock stir from underneath the confines of his beat up jeans. Oh god.
You had just finished strumming a concoction of chords, struggling to switch between them, though you still turned to him with a beaming smile.
“Did you hear that, Eds?”
“Course I did, baby. Y’did so good, real proud of you.” He pressed a quick, chaste kiss to the swell of your cheek before nudging it with the tip of his nose, urging you to lean your focus back onto the guitar with a simple utterance of keep going, princess.
Eddie’s hands pressed against your thighs, before his right hand slipped behind his guitar and cupped a palm against your pussy, the heel of his hand squeezing against your covered clit, easing a little whine from you as a response. You had paused your practicing, bucking your hips a little and sliding your head back against his shoulder, still riled up from mere moments before.
“No, come on, sweetheart, what’d I tell ya?” You whined again, his guitar slipping more and more out of your grip, and if Eddie wasn’t so pussy drunk, he for sure would’ve reprimanded you for not taking care of his precious guitar. “Keep playing f’me.”
“Don’t wanna-”
“Go on-” he cooed, nudging at your arm, “don’t want me to stop, do you?”
His pretty hands trailed idly before slipping one underneath the waistband of your pyjamas, pointer finger already running up the length of your slit, and he let out a rather harsh breath once he felt how soaked you were — the cotton that covered you all saturated and practically dripping.
“Shit, baby—” he moaned out, feeling you up with his other hand, groping and kneading at whatever skin he could reach. “been waitin’ for this, huh, princess?”
Eddie didn’t waste another second, stretching your underwear so far to the side, the sound of snapping elastic sounded and you would’ve scolded him, but— shit— you were so fucking turned on-
“Keep strummin’, sweetheart, don’t wanna leave ya all worked up.”
His fingers were on your clit, sloppily circling it with the pads and trailing down your folds to reach the arousal that pooled from your hole, all clenching and quivering, absolutely carnal and eager to be stuffed full.
And you tried— god, you tried so hard to keep up with your own fingers, plucking the same tinny chords over and over again— gotta keep goin’ and make him proud.
“You want em’, baby?” The cocky shit, he nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck and his unoccupied hand fixed your fingers on the fretboard so they were correct, how he could do both things at once, you hadn’t a clue. “want my fingers? Gonna fill you up, stuff you to the brim— fuck, s’almost makin’ my cock jealous, princess.”
Your eyes practically rolled to the back of your skull.
“Can you feel it? Know you can-” he dipped two fingers inside you, right to the knuckle, “so hard f’you, sweetheart, can barely cope with you grindin’ on me.”
“Oh— fuck, Eddie, please!” You cried out while he started to thrust his dexterous fingers in and out, in and out, so impossibly hard and rough, you couldn’t concentrate on the guitar in your lap, and yet again, it started to slip farther and farther away, almost to the floor beneath you.
He was far too engrossed now to notice the lack of music, whispering dirty fucking everythings into your ear and flicking at your swollen clit with the pad of his thumb.
He was stretching you out entirely, and you were sure it was for his cock soon, thrusting so fast and hard into your gummy walls, scissoring his fingers and curling them upwards to nudge mouth-wateringly against your g-spot.
Fuckfuckfuckfuck—
You threw your head back onto his shoulder at a particularly delicious curl of his fingers, and he leaned down to suckle at the hot, searing flesh of your throat, nipping and marking you up as his for the taking, and only his.
“Yeah, that’s right— there y’go-”
A pinch to your nipple and a bite to your neck, you clawed at the carpet and reached for the back of his head, fingers scratching at his scalp and curling around his pretty tresses, only to tug and pull in a daze.
“I know you like bein’ my little slut, baby, practically fucking drooling-”
“So good, Eds, you fuck me so fucking good—”
“Watch your mouth—” the hand that groped at your tits flew to your lips, pushing two fingers to rest inside your drooling mouth, much akin to the way his fingers pushed into your cunt at that exact moment. “Dirty girl, you gonna cum? I know, baby, I can feel it, fuckin’ clenching around me, can barely move.”
You were stuck in a flurry of dizzy stars, the love hearts in your eyes blown from over your pupils, babbling and crying out like Eddie was a fucking deity.
Oh, but he was. Truly, he was.
“Gonna- gonna cum— please can I cum? Please?”
Your speech was muffled around his fingers and you could feel him smirking against your flesh, though you managed to register the way his breathing picked up— rutting his cock against your ass like a dog in heat.
“Go on, you’re allowed— make a fuckin’ mess, god, you’re fuckin’ creamin’ me, babe.”
You grew stiff before the coil inside your stomach snapped, cumming hard all over his still pumping fingers and you quivered and jolted against his chest. You grew limp, all while your body spasmed, hole clenching and creaming his hand just like he said.
He was breathing hard into your ear, groaning and whimpering while you lay all fucked out.
“Shit, babe— just came in my fuckin’ pants.”

Anyone have any songs that would be relatively easy (idc if it’s a challenge) for a beginner to learn on guitar? I want to learn but just practicing chords and stuff will not cut it. I need a goal.
Songs by any of the following would work but really I’d learn anything
Cavetown
Egg
The crane wives
Mumford and sons
The lumineers
Musicals of bmc newsies heathers, etc
Anything literally anything I am on my knees begging

Hi scribe! My mom is learning to play the guitar, but she’s not very confident in singing. I suggested that folk songs would probably be easy to learn and within her vocal range, but neither of us could think of many options! Do you have any favorites that would be easy for a beginner to sing?
First, if you don't have it already you might enjoy getting a copy of Rise Up Singing! It has lyrics and simple chords for 1200 songs, leaning heavily folk but also including other genres. They're organized by topic, but there are indexes for looking up songs by title or artist so it's easy to browse. It's one of my favorite resources!
Shanty songs might be a good place to start; they tend to have very simple melodies and a lot of repetition. Some favorites are "Haul Away Joe," "Leave Her Johnny, Leave Her," "Roll The Old Chariot Along," "South Australia," and of course "Drunken Sailor."
You could also look at lullabies! Gordon Bok's "Isle Au Haut Lullaby" is my personal favorite though it's less well known (this is my plea for everyone to listen to Gordon Bok), but something like "Day Is Done," "Hobo's Lullaby," or "Goodnight Irene" could be a good starting point.
Other folk songs that I love and that don't require a huge range include "Julian Of Norwich," "Sailor's Prayer," "The Great Silkie," "The Garden Song," "Nova Scotia Farewell," and "Turning Towards The Morning."
Some songs that take a little more effort but are just super fun to sing include "Dark As A Dungeon," "Country Roads," "If I Had A Hammer," and "The Mary Ellen Carter."
If there are specific artists or sub-genres of folk (sea songs, mining songs, trad ballads, etc) that your mom particularly likes let me know and I can probably give you some more recs! I like to sing a LOT of songs so this list is pretty unfocused.
Also, my advice for singing is always going to be to find songs that you personally love and try to sing along to them! Sing the things you want to sing, even if your voice is wobbly or you need to jump octaves. I think you will generally get a lot more joy (and improvement!) from singing your favorite songs than from just focusing on the ones that feel easy.
Good luck to your mom with her singing!

gahh please talk about the musicians more!!!
-a musician
You know what branch of musical instruments was desperately missing from my last post? Percussion!!
-Katelyn insists that learning an instrument is a waste of time, that it won't help her in the long run, and that carrying the damn thing around is too inconvenient. What she doesn't realize is that Travis has listened to all of her excuses and when he puts a small wooden drum in her hand he goes into every detail about why she should learn to play it.
-It's small and lightweight, easy to carry around. Doesn't require too much time to get pretty decent at it. She can chose to get really advanced, or just learn how to play simple beats so she can keep time. It exercises her hands without her needing to spar. At this point there's no reason Katelyn has to protest.
-And Garroth isn't skipped out either! At this point Travis is just turning the entire party into his band and he's not letting anyone get out of it. Eventually he settles on giving Garroth a tambourine because it's very easy to play and low effort so Garroth can't bitch about it being a nuisance.
-Honestly Garroth doesn't mind at all when he gets to sit around the fire with everyone and see Vylad with their scarf pulled down and a smile on their face.
-I feel like despite being more of a beginner, Laurance knows the most songs out of everyone (except Zoey but she has an unfair advantage). Laurance is such a fucking theater kid I won't ever shut up about this, he has read so many epics, and tragedies, and poems, and plays, and whatever he could get his hands on in Meteli. And that includes reading songbooks and learning love songs.
-Fuck it, shove a guitar into Dante's hands that he started learning from Logan as a way to help relieve his stress and keep his posture better. Dante at first uses it to try and rizz up Nicole (this song always makes me think of Nicole like it's literally her theme music), and it absolutely works. But after the two have their falling out Dante isn't sure if he wants to keep playing.
-Until he realizes that if he keeps practicing the guitar he can play songs with Nana and that's just delightful.
-I like to think that because her instrument sits on her shoulder Nana is able to dance around a lot while she's playing. Like the girl cannot keep her feet still, she's got the dance fever.
-Phoenix Drop literally has so many parties and celebrations where there's just like. music in the background. Imagine if characters were playing those songs!! There's little imperfections here and there because Laurance still doesn't know how to play certain chords properly, Brendan isn't used to playing with others so he gets thrown off a bit. Zoey is the absolute chad of these because she's literally been around for almost a thousand years at this point, she has played so many songs with so many people.
-Zoey actually knows how to play any string instrument you can put into her hands. Like a seventh sense. She just sticks to the harp because she doesn't want to make all the mortals around her feel like they can't live up to her. She loves playing with her friends.
-WAIT A DAMN MINUTE Kiki bringing Leona over to Brendan's so she can spend some time with him and he starts teaching her to play guitar? It's difficult at first, but eventually she figures out how to use her little wolf claws as proper finger picks that make her better than he is sometimes and he's only mildly upset by this.
-Natsumi (Nana and Dante's kid) grows up hearing her parents play music and wants to do it too. She can't decide if she wants to play guitar or violin more, until Dmitri is in the picture (more on him in a later paragraph). When Dmitri says he wants to play the guitar, Natsumi immediately starts badgering her mother to teach her how to play the violin. She knows that the happiest they've ever looked is when they're playing together, and she wants to make everyone else that happy too!
-I don't think Nicole is much of a musician unfortunately. She's got a beautiful singing voice, but she doesn't sing enough. She hasn't really had freedom for most of her life, and she didn't have the free time to learn an instrument once she did get control of her life. But she likes listening to Dante stumble through the beginner phase of learning the guitar.
-Dmitri doesn't express an interest in music until after the first time he went to Phoenix Drop without Nicole's permission. She knows. She knows exactly why he has the sudden interest, and she doesn't want to say yes, but she doesn't have it in her to stifle him the same way she was stifled. So she finds one of her guards who knows how to play it that can teach Dmitri when he's in Scaleswind.
-And when he's in Phoenix Drop or on the Alliance Island, Dmitri learns how to play from Dante, Brendan, or Aaron. Even Logan gives him a few pointers. When Dmitri comes back he has a dedicated interest and starts asking to go to the library so he can find songbooks.
-Completely of his own will Dmitri starts talking to other guards and members of the Scaleswind public to find someone who knows how to play violin so he can practice with them. He wants to be good so he and Natsumi can play together and sound good and make everyone happy :)
-I'm gonna fucking sob over that last one what the fuck. WAIT AARON SEEING THIS HAPPEN IN REAL TIME AND THINKING ABOUT HIS FAMILY?? And it's a bitter sweet feeling because he misses Lily and Jacob so much it physically hurts, but Nana and Dante look so happy when they're together and ashghfgfghfhdg
-Aaron and Natsumi playing together when Dmitri is gone because she wants to practice and get good so she can impress him when they see each other again :)
-I'm literally screaming sobbing rolling on the floor crying right now this is so fucking cute
if it wasn't incredibly obvious I'm a musician myself and this is so personal and so real to me I'm fighting the urge to make a playlist of songs that the mcd characters would play and I'M LOSING

when tara can finally stumble her way through a song on guitar, what do you think she learns to play?
liability
i kept thinking and thinking and thinking about this and it made me realize even more how hard it would be for tara to play. like, painfully hard, seeing you almost always need your middle and ring fingers for the chords. so i wasn't sure if tara would start by learning a song she likes or just a random one in an "easy songs to play for beginners" list.
taking this into consideration, she'd probably list a few songs she wanted to learn and check which ones seemed easier to play.
one she wanted to learn (and i think could be the first!) but took a while was dreams by fleetwood mac; not because it was particularly hard, seeing the song mainly focuses on two chords (F and G), but the positions were kinda hard and it hurt a lot when she first tried it.
i wanna say at the point where tara decided to learn how to play, she was giving therapy and physical therapy another try. and whenever she did try to play and her fingers were shaking, her grip wasn't firm, or holding it for more than a few seconds hurt so much she had to open her hand and put the guitar down, it motivated her even more to put an effort into her next physical therapy session.

omg that’s so cool (totally not looking at you with heart eyes, nooo) for me it was sth like this
me: i want to play the guitar
mom: no you’re playing the piano
me: okay
(it’s a canon event and i still can’t play the piano… still really want to play the electric guitar though)
You should pick it up!!! It's so genuinely easy and I mean that. It's just as easy for beginners as piano. Like you can play a Green Day song easy within like the first day of learning guitar, once you learn a bar chord and I'm not kidding.
Form a tumblr weeb band with me lmao.

sorry I know U turned off the replies for the bass guitar post but I wanted to suggest if you already can read standard music notation, don’t sweat not knowing tab as it often really falls short to convey musical context. (ESPECIALLY if standard notation isn’t included with it; tab is convenient if you don’t know any music theory but it often doesn’t even notate rhythm.)
for just beginner stuff learn to count/subdivide music if you don’t already, it’s really important to even just FEEL what is happening when you’re playing along to something. 90% of shit is in 4/4 anyways
learning a major scale + knowing your triads are super helpful for playing under chord changes.
not sure what other instruments you already play & hoping this does not come off as an overbearing wall of text.. just saw nobody mention these things on the origibal post
oh that's np I didn't turn off replies on that post in particular I just have my global reply settings set to like only ppl I follow and ppl who have followed me for longer than a week. but you've misunderstood, my issue isn't that I can't read tab, it's that since picking up bass I have been learning exclusively in tab despite knowing sheet music (from learning some piano & violin and doing music in HS) and I'm struggling to adapt to reading sheet music because I haven't really been correlating the notes to like, the notes. just their placement on the fretboard. I'm kind of learning a bit mechanistically. and yea the reason I care abt that is for all the reasons you list tab just kind of tells you what to do but it's not even very easy to sight read.

[ID: A black electric guitar decorated with white skulls. This guy is broke where did he get that]
I CANT FUCKING BELIEVE MY LUCK AND UM oh yeah uh ive never played guitar before so uhhhhhh you got any tips for a beginner-?
-thatoneskullgrunt
That's pretty fuckin' mint, mate, I like the heavy metal look!
Beginner tips... Well, first off I would invest in a metronome ta help ya keep on beat and play chords along to it. Start slowly, and don' make a habit of lookin' at ya hands while playin'.
PRACTICE. YA. CHORDS. I mean, REALLY learn 'em, aye?
Learnin' ta tune ya guitar is also important, get a good feel for your instrument; think of it as an extension of ya'self.
Finally, go easy on ya'self. Don' go comparin' ya'self to others. Everyone learns at their own pace, aright? If ya not sure where ta start exactly, there's plenty'a mewtube vidyas out there ta help learn simple chords/songs.
🤘NOW GO FORTH AND ROCK.🤘

Learn Guitar In Easy Ways
Guitar Learning Tips
Learning to play the guitar can be an exciting and fulfilling journey. However, many beginners wonder if it's possible to learn the guitar in just one month. While becoming a master guitarist in such a short period may be unrealistic, it is certainly possible to make significant progress with the right approach and dedication.
Here are some guitar learning tips to help beginners on their journey:
Set Realistic Goals: It's important to set realistic goals when learning the guitar in a short timeframe. Instead of aiming to become an expert, focus on mastering a few chords, playing a simple song, or getting comfortable with basic guitar techniques.
Daily Practice: Consistency is key when learning any instrument. Dedicate a set amount of time each day to practice and stick to it. Even short practice sessions every day can yield better results than sporadic longer sessions.
Find Good Online Resources: The internet is a treasure trove of guitar resources for beginners. Look for reputable websites, YouTube tutorials, and online courses that offer structured lessons and exercises to follow.
Learn Basic Chords: Mastering basic guitar chords is a great starting point. Practice chords like G, C, D, A, and E, as they are commonly used in many songs. Once you become comfortable with these chords, you can start strumming and transitioning between them.
Practice Proper Technique: Pay attention to your posture, hand positioning, and the way you hold the pick. Proper technique will help you progress faster and avoid developing bad habits that may be difficult to correct later on.
Learn Songs You Love: Learning songs that you enjoy listening to can be highly motivating. Start with simple tunes and gradually challenge yourself with more complex ones as you improve.
Seek Guidance: Consider taking beginner guitar lessons with an experienced teacher, either in person or online. A qualified instructor can guide you, correct any mistakes, and provide valuable feedback tailored to your skill level.
Guitar Learning for Beginners
Learning to play the guitar as a beginner can feel overwhelming, but with the right approach, anyone can succeed. Here are some tips specifically tailored for guitar learning beginners:
Get Comfortable with Your Guitar: Before diving into lessons, spend time familiarizing yourself with your guitar. Understand its different parts, tune it correctly, and make sure it feels comfortable to play.
Start with Basic Strumming Patterns: Begin by practicing simple strumming patterns, such as downstrokes or basic up-down patterns. This will help you build rhythm and coordination.
Learn to Read Tabs and Chord Diagrams: Tabs and chord diagrams are essential tools for guitarists. Spend some time understanding how to read them, as they will enable you to learn a wide range of songs.
Utilize Slow Practice: When learning a new technique or song, start by practicing it slowly. Gradually increase your speed as you become more comfortable and confident.
Familiarize Yourself with Guitar Terminology: Learning guitar-related terms will make it easier to follow tutorials and communicate with other guitarists. Understand terms like frets, scales, capo, and so on. GUITAR CLASSES

hiya, I thiiink you’ve mentioned playing guitar before so I was wondering if you had any tips for beginners? My aunt gave me hers from when she was a teenager and I have no idea where to start lol. Hope you have a nice day
of course!!! generally I suggest learning chords like em, g, c, am, e, d, and dm just to get your fingers used to the fretboard. then I'd introduce chord progressions with songs like stand by me, brown eyed girl, good riddance by greenday etc. after you've kinda mastered moving your fingers and strumming at the same time you can kinda go any direction you want!!! if you like jazz you can learn some fingerpicking and strumming techniques along with new chords, or if you like more rock ish music you can learn barre chords and some riffs with more strumming patterns, it's really up to you!!! if you want more specific teaching videos I highly recommend marin music center on youtube as their tutorials are rhe most in depth and easy to grasp for me :)

do you have any tips on like starting to learn guitar
chord diagrams are gonna be your best friend. rly start by learning chords n them using those chords to play songs. knockin on heavens door is a rly easy beginner song! also, just don’t give up. most ppl who try to teach themselves guitar don’t get past the 3 month mark. get past that mark!! i am at 6 years now n im so glad i stuck with it. also, start out on an acoustic. it will make your fingers stronger n make you a better player, trust me.
