So, for this year’s Valentine’s Day I:

Didn’t get dressed ‘cos fuck that noise, roamed around my apartment in pyjamas

Wrote a little more of my fanfic that may or may not be something about Shadow Squadron

Played more of Smash Ultimate to widen my roster before I actually have to fight real people on Friday (it will not end well for me)

Queued with some good randos in Squadrons, though I sorely missed Shadow Squadron’s banter and teasing

Watched a good friend of mine’s stream

Failed a Perception in chat of said stream, to hilarious results

“You what really annoys me about healing Ebak?”

“Shadow, I’m right here.”

“OH SHIT”

Watched the first two episodes of Firefly with very good friends after one discovered I’d never seen it before

Made plans with the others to see the rest of it together and also play some board games online

It was really good! Much prefer this version of Valentine’s I think. Not that what I had the ex wasn’t as good, but today...today was what I needed to keep my mind off it.

Me: I dunno, Sea of Thieves isn’t my sort of thing...

Ebak: C’mon, I’m really excited about the Captain Jack stuff in Sea of Thieves, and I’m already assembling a crew! Get it from the Xbox Games Pass, it’s cheaper than the full game.

Me: ...Oh, that is pretty cheap, actually. Alright, I’ll give it a go

---During last night---

*playing the drums in sync with my friends on the hurdy gurdy and banjo, under the starry, aurora skies on our boat after a long evening of hijinks involving cannons, explosive barrels, and us not finding any chickens*

Me: ...I am a very, very lucky woman.
